Acronyms

Hi all.

I feel stupid for asking but, what do all the thread acronyms mean?? I don't see any of them listed in the glossary. I've been wracking my brain trying to figure them out! Maybe I've just been out of the lingo for so long.

I'm sorry of this post doesn't belong here, I tried posting in the New To The Bump forum but no one has answered.

    Hey @regalmommy1! I will try to list the ones I can think of:

    TWW thread=Two-Week Wait. For those who have ovulated & are waiting to find out if they’re pregnant. 

    WTO thread=Waiting To Ovulate. This is for those who are in the first half of their cycle. 

    *We call the TWW & WTO threads “the dailies” because you could post in them every day of your cycle. 

    TTCAL=Trying To Conceive After Loss
    TFAS=Trying For A Sibling
    IF Testing & Treatment=Infertility thread 
    UO=Unpopular Opinions (on Thursdays) 
    FFFC=Flame-Free Friday Confessions (on Fridays) 

    If you actually meant what do the acronyms mean within the threads, I will give that a shot too lol:

    CD/DPO=Cycle Day/Days Past Ovulation 
    WYDTGKU=What are You Doing To Get Knocked Up
    R/R=Rants/Raves
    CS/Q=Chart Stalk/Questions
    LP=Luteal Phase
    GTKY=Getting To Know You

    BBT = basal body temperature/thermometer
    BETA = blood test for HCG
    BG = Bump gods
    CD = cycle day
    CS/Q = chart stalk and/or question
    DOR = diminished ovarian reserve
    DPO = days post ovulation
    DE = donor eggs/embryos
    ED = every day
    EOD = every other day
    FF = Fertility Friend
    GL = good luck
    GTKY = getting to know you
    HIO = hump it out
    NTNP = not trying not preventing
    QFP = quoted for posterity/preservation/permanence
    R/R = rants and/or raves
    SS = speshul snoflayke (also used for symptom spotting)
    T&P = thoughts and prayers
    TLDR = too long didn't read
    TTA = trying to avoid
    TWW = two week wait
    WAYDTGKU = what are you doing to get knocked up
    WK = white knight
    WTO = waiting to ovulate
