I wish social media (Facebook specifically) would crash and burn into a pile of irredeemable ashes.
I feel like it is too easy to spread false info and people are too empowered to be hateful keyboard vigilantes in a forum with no checks or balances.
The only reasons I still have an account are to keep up with local organizations (zoo and library) and to keep an eye on family who don't always respect our parental decision to minimize our kid's images on social media.
@mom_of_the_vogels I left Facebook in 2016 and I’ve never looked back! I tell everyone in our family, very politely, not to post images of me on social media without my permission. They are all pretty respectful!
