@gingermama29 yayyy for being off the bench! ❤️
@fitzfizz I hope you can get your results today or tomorrow so you can have a chance to take advantage of this FW!

Month/Cycle: 3/3 officially start month three today

    CD: 7

WAYDTGKU: STILL 🩸🙄🤪🙄🤪 BBT, PNVs, and eventually OPKs, CP, CM, and HIO EOD

R/R: I’m not sure why my body is insisting on having week long or longer periods right now. Having to use pads for over a week is just...gross to me. 🤢 Ready for AF to leave! Otherwise, my mom has off work all week, so hoping to spend some time with her!

CS/Q: I discarded yesterday’s temp because it was 1) super late, and 2) I had to get up out of bed a couple hours before and I know that messed with it.

WAYDTGKU: gunna start HIO this week (me and SO have the worst work schedules but this weekend we’re actually both off so we gunna have a fun time haha), OPKs, PNV, CP/CM

R/R:  I was excited to temp this month but my thermometer broke and trying to find one right now is annoying, so that will have to wait for next cycle if needed but it’s fun trying OPKs for the first time

Non TTC related: I need a break from work! I’m exhausted and feeling really burnt out and I’m not sure how much longer I can work without needing some time off or having a breakdown  I work a high stress job at normal times let alone COVID times.. everything is amplified  and shift work is just exhausting on its own  :(

@fitzfizz yay for results! Hope it goes well

@chindimples04 every time we talk about AF here I think back to the customer we had one day at Walgreens who insisted that if you needed super or super+ tampons something was wrong with you and you should see a doctor. There were maybe 4 of us in the aisle with her (all girls) and I think we all said we use super tampons. I don't remember, but I wouldn't be surprised if she was also blessed with 3 day long periods. The whole reason we had gotten into the conversation with her was because the box she wanted was out of stock (we had a really good sale on them!) and we had suggested the box that was half regular, half super absorbancy and that kicked off the whole "no, why in the world would I use a super tampon"

WAYDTGKU: HIO while DH is on furlough - should be easy right??, OPKs (x2 now), temping, GF and DF diet, supplements, getting a 2nd opinion

R/R: last work week just kinda sucked and then an argument on Friday with DH just made my weekend suck too, but I guess I'm over that. I don't feel mentally prepared for this work week either. There's a lot going on this week so I'm sure I will feel overwhelmed. Hoping I can get DH to do all his side of the paperwork, etc. for the 2nd opinion next week. I think I'm feeling a bit anxious about making sure I get that all done ahead of time!

CS/Q: must have been cold in the room or maybe my blanket was off cuz my temp dipped quite a bit! And my OPKs seem to be going backwards. The first couple days were in the 0.2 range in Premom, then it dropped to 0.17, and this morning was 0.16. Whatever, probably a concentration thing.

@gingermama29 so glad you had a great week off and ready to get off the bench! Go girl!

@fitzfizz oooh! I hope you get those results today! FX.

@chindimples04 I'm sorry for the super-long AF. I've always had longer periods (lasting 7-8 days) and I remember in college my friends would - not make fun - but definitely brag that theirs was only 3-4 days long. It's a bit better now, but I still spot for good 2-3 day after flow ends.

@inthewoods23 I hope your mood improves even more as the week goes on and that you get all that paperwork done b/f next week's appointment.

    Month/Cycle: 7/7

    CD: 20

WAYDTGKU: HIO, bbt, OPKs, CM, PNVs, Ubiquinol, melatonin, seed cycling, myo-inositol/d-chiro-inositol. Also had my HSG and completed our infertility blood tests / genetic tests this cycle. One last thing remaining: pelvic MRI on 8/11.

R/R: I'm taking next week off so this week is going to be busy busy making sure all my ducks are in order before I go off the grid.

CS/Q: Well I had my "peak" yesterday, but if I look at my OPKs, the line never got as dark as the control line. I'll post that in OPK help thread. Either way, today is technically O and my bbt pattern supports that, so I'll likely be moving over to TWW tomorrow.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1 AL #2

    CD: 4

WAYDTGKU: Still waiting to talk to DH about trying again. Kinda nervous to bring it up.

R/R: Not much going on. Last day off from work today and have lots of running around to do. Have to go get a blood test today and pee in cup oh goody lol Dr. Wants to check my levels to see where my thyroid (Hypothyroidism) is at since having my D&E and see if we need to keep the same prescription or change it. Hope all is good with it and my urine.

    CS/Q: nothing

@gingermama29 welcome back and yay! to being unbenched. 😁 Your vacation away in a huge house with family sounded nice. Glad you had a good time. Taking a break from social media is always good for a bit.

@fitzfizz yes girl! So glad you phoned the genetics company and bugged them. I’m glad your results are all done and into the dr. FX you are able to get them soon before FW this cycle.

@chindimples04 I agree. Using a pad for longer then a week is gross. I hope AF leaves soon. I hope you have fun and enjoy all the time with your mom.

@danielledee89 sorry that your thermometer broke. That sucks. Hope your able to find a new one soon. Sorry too that your feeling exhausted and burnt out from your job. I know the feeling. I hope you get a break soon to relax. I want a vacation sooo bad but can’t really fly or go anywhere. Damn COVID!

@inthewoods23 I hope this week is a lot better for you then last week. Sorry that your feeling overwhelmed. What are you guys getting a 2nd opinion on? That’s sooo weird that lady you mentioned at Walgreens who doesn’t use super tampons. Must be nice. I use them all the time, in fact I’ve actually soaked through a super tampon in like 2 hours so screw you lady and your prefect vagina and flow 😆

@danielledee89 Amazon is your friend! That's where I got my BBT

@acleverusername man I hate having to make sure things are taken care of before going on vacation. The last day my brain is usually already in vacation mode lol

@mindyb2019 the 2nd opinion is to get someone else's thoughts on our situation. We've had all these tests come back normal leading up to and after a FET failure. And what they think about me going on the DF and GF diet. I wonder if it's necessary or not. Maybe it's all a mental health thing, who knows. I'm also curious if they think we can be successful by IUI. I'd rather not go back and spend the money on another FET with another normal embryo only to have it fail again. I keep trying to find when the super+ and ultra tampons came out because I feel like those weren't around in my high school days but came out when I was in college - but maybe they just became more commonly stocked at stores, idk! But yeah, you know it's a bad period day when you soak through a super tampon in a few hours  :s

@inthewoods23 ya soaking through a super tampon in a few hours is a bad period. I just had that happen on sat with this first period after my loss. It’s been heavy and bad. I’d rather everything get out now 😆 Ya, I agree, I would definitely get a second option too if I were in your shoes. See what they say about it all. I hope it all goes well. I don’t blame you for not wanting to spend more money on another FET to have it fail again.

@acleverusername yes we must have been trying our updates at the same time cause I didn’t see yours. Thanks. I hope my DH is on board too. I’ll talk to him as soon as I can. I don’t have the hashimoto’s, I just have hypothyroidism which is just my thyroid gland itself. It’s funny cause I was diagnosed July of last year lol. Are you on any meds? What did they give you?

@fitzfizz FX you get your results today and everything is good!

@chindimples04 ugh I hope AF goes away today. That's such a long time to deal with her.

@danielledee89 I hope you're about to get a mental break from work. Can you take a personal mental health day? Those help so much!

@inthewoods23 hahahaha yes to that gif! Sorry your weekend was rough and you're feeling overwhelmed. I hope the week goes smoothly for you. Sending hugs.

@acleverusername are you doing anything fun with your week off?

@mindyb2019 FX for good results at the doctor today!

Hi everyone, I'm still pretty new to the forum, and I'm not sure if my concerns and questions are appropriate for the thread. Please let me know if there's somewhere better for me to leave a reply.

@mindyb2019 I noticed you mentioned having hypothyroidism and I feel like I may be having issues with my thyroid as well. I'd like to get it checked out, primarily because I'm worried about how it'll affect fertility.

Month/Cycle: 3 (but did not get AF this month, and should be on 4.)

CD: 45. I'm exactly two weeks late but only testing as BFN.

    WAYDTGKU: charting, prenatals, consider OPK

R/R: getting the BFN two weeks in a row and not knowing what steps to take next. I've only been charting my cycle and Ive been regular since getting off birth control six years ago, where I typically have a 29-31 day cycle. I'm irritated knowing that my cycle and charting are about to shift. I also don't know why my period is MIA?

CS/Q: how late have you waited before getting AF? Should I visit my doctor? Im guilty of avoiding the doctor since Covid-19. I don't want to be a hassle. And I know that I tend to stress and overthink things as well.

@ktinarose After two weeks, I think it’s worth a call to your OB about next steps. They may have you wait longer or may start you on something to try and encourage AF to show up, but it’s definitely worth a call. And if you have established care with an OB, I start there versus a general practitioner. And OB is far more well versed that a GP will be in this area.

I didn’t have a chance to peek back here after o posted!

@mindyb2019 I’m taking Levothyroxine 50mg; it’s only been ~4 weeks and currently trying to get a referral to an endocrinologist. For now I have some follow up bloodwork booked at 5/6 weeks.

@inthewoods23 totally agree with you; one might argue that I’m already in vacation mode and I have 3.5 days to go! 🤣

@gingermama29 Yes! I’m going camping/hiking in Yosemite for the weekend and also just booked a cabin stay for 4 days thereafter still in the national park. Going with DH and 2 girlfriends. It was supposed to be just DH and I and only for camping but it worked out cause my 2 friends were looking to get away and at this point, we’re looking for any opportunity to interact with a select few others in a safe manner.

@ktinarose yes I got diagnosed last year in July for Hypothyroidism. Why do you feel your having issues with it? You should definitely get it checked out then. I would talk to your doctor and see if you can get the blood test done for it. I’m on meds that I have to take daily and it has really helped me a lot.

@acleverusername that's the exact drugs and prescription dose I take 😀 The only advice I can give you ALWAYS take your pills and get your thyroid checked every so often and especially when you get KU. They help soo much! My thyroid levels were soo high when i first started and these meds have been amazing in bringing it down to normal levels. It takes a many many months for them to come down but keep at it. GL!

@mindyb2019 thanks so much for the pro-tip!

@danielledee89 no problem; now that I’m on my mobile, I don’t see the sig. I have a feeling it’s leftover from the last time you were on here? Is that possible?

@acleverusername @chindimples04 I do not currently have an OB but I am planning to see my primary physician this week. Thank you for the comments and support! I'll keep updating as I find out more.

@mindyb2019 my sister in law was recently diagnosed and we were talking about the symptoms: extreme fatigue, muscle weakness, slow heart rate, puffiness, weight gain, depression. Im also anemic. I'm planning a visit with my doctor this week and I'll be asking for a blood test.
