Typical LP length: 11-12 days

Testing: I'm planning to get to 11 or 12 DPO. Honestly I'm not feeling very hopeful about this month right now, so I don't really have the itch yet.

R/R: I stayed on track with my food tracking yesterday, so that is a start. We had a pretty wicked storm yesterday, which I missed most of being at work with no windows, but our yard was a disaster! Got most of it cleaned up yesterday though.

@bbrahmbhatt are you in the Midwest? I saw all my old friends from Chicago posting a huge storm yesterday. Glad there was no major damage.

Testing: not yet, will probably start this weekend

R/R: I got new glasses with the blue light blocker yesterday - I am kind of excited to see if it makes a difference since I sit in front of my laptop all day

CS/Q: Nothing today - my temps are looking more normal and keep rising, so fingers crossed!

@bbrahmbhatt I'm glad you were able to get the yard cleaned up. I use to work in an office with no windows. I hated it.

@BuckeyeNut05 I hope the blue light glasses help. I would love to know what you think and if they make a difference.

R/R: It's a busy week at work. I am looking forward to a weekend at the lake. Nothing else exciting happening this week.

CS/Q: temp are all over the place, so who knows. AF is usually around CD28, so we will see.

@BuckeyeNut05 Yep, we live just outside of Chicago in the near west suburbs. It was a doozy; the power actually went out in the hospital for 30 seconds.

@bbrahmbhatt We live in Chicago too (downtown) and it was absolutely crazy here!! I love storms but I was actually scared while it was going on. Apparently a tornado did touch down in Rogers Park

@DoubleUp8 A weekend away sounds amazing right now.

Testing: I might pick up some tests tomorrow and and then maybe test Thursday (12 dpo). I broke out with a couple pimples and generally feel a little crappy but that's very typical of my PMS so I don't have high hopes for this cycle.

R/R: I came on here between patients because I'm very angry about some incompetence that happened this morning at work (right at 8am, perfect way to start the morning) and I need to calm down a little. Other than that doing okay though, trying not to obsess too much over pregnant vs. not, especially since I don't have high hopes for this cycle as mentioned above. Since I've only been ovulating every other cycle, I may not have another chance for a couple of months which is making me even more antsy. Did some deep breathing last night and again this morning to try and relax Yesterday MH brought home flowers for me for no particular reason which was super sweet!!

CS/Q: Proov was (+) again this morning which is a relief

@bbrahmbhatt food tracking for a day = small victories. Gotta celebrate each one of those! Sorry to hear that you’re not feeling like this is your cycle. Remind me: is this your first Clomid cycle?

@BuckeyeNut05 your bbt chart is looking nice! Good luck testing out the blue light blocking glasses; you reminded me that I need to go to the optometrist since I need new reading glasses. My last pair had the blue light blocking application and I really liked them. Also, we’re CD buddies!

@DoubleUp8 I hope your week flies by and you’ll be at the lake in no time!

Month/Cycle: 7/7

CD/DPO: 21/1

Timing: -4, -2, O

Typical LP length: varies because I have LPD; gonna supplement with progesterone this cycle for the first time.

Testing: maybe next weekend if AF doesn’t start

R/R: we had our IUI orientation yesterday so if this cycle isn’t successful, we have a path forward! So far, I’m really enjoying all of the clinic staff I’ve interacted with. We opted to go with an RE at a university hospital given how many cycles they do, and had some concerns about being a cog in the wheel, but so far this hasn’t been our experience. I have a pelvic MRI today to explore a potential source of infertility that had been suggested on a previous ultrasound, but that’s the last of testing before starting treatment.

CS/Q: got a really nice temp bump this AM confirming O! It’s such a pleasant feeling when your temp does what you expect it to do!

@priyadoc whoops, I was taking my sweet time with my update and missed yours. Have you spoken to your OB about getting on Clomid or doing a course or BC to help you ovulate?

@priyadoc ugh hopefully your day gets better! and glad to see you used the Proov--especially if you might go a cycle or two without ovulating, at least there is peace of mind that all seems ok this cycle in that regard

CS/Q: trying to rationalize with myself this morning that i am hungover and not experiencing early symptoms. my pretty chart isnt helping that

@acleverusername Yup! The plan is for HSG/SA in September or October, followed by letrozole. I was really hoping this would be the month so I wouldn't have to go through the rest, but I'm thankful my obgyn is willing to get moving early. I just need to figure out if the hsg would be covered by insurance or not...

@priyadoc oh wow! I didn't realize you were in Chicago! I'm glad your OB is willing to move so fast for you, thats great! Insurance issues can be such a hassle, I work for a religious institution, so I have no coverage for treatment so I have to switch insurances in March.

@acleverusername Yes, it is my first Clomid cycle, and for whatever reason I am just not feeling super hopeful. I did a little symptom spotting yesterday, which I know is not really helpful. I guess only 5 or 6 days to find out. I hope your MRI goes well, keep us posted!
