My Beta isn't looking good, I'm feeling crushed.... I'm 12dp5dt and the beta today was only 40... Is there any hope? I feel devastated... this is going to be the longest 48 hr wait.

@ReesaAnne16 - awe - don’t give in yet. You need that second beta first! I feel for you - beta hell is awful.
There is a gestational sac in my uterus measuring 5d2w. They said based on my doing ovulation tests but not know exactly since it was a spontaneous pregnancy when I could be between 5w5d and 5w3d so the sac could be fine. Said they see a bit of activity around the sac which is good. So I go back Thursday (supposed to be Friday but they are busy) to double check things. Since there wasn’t anything seen for sure in the sac yet they can’t 100% rule out ectopic which is why I’m going back this week instead of early next week. They betas are still concerning but they were starting to speed up so...I’m in a grey area. Still could go either way...

Update: Baby M is here! She was born via scheduled repeat c-section on 8/4, weighing 7lb 13oz. She’s healthy, looks just like her older brother and we are all in love (well, my son is still getting used to her). We were discharged as soon as we could, on 8/6. Has been a struggle the past few days with trying to adjust to the new life of two kids in the house, recover from surgery/post-birth pains (edema is not as bad as last time but it’s still bugging the heck out of me) and damaged nipples from nursing. Things are improving though!

My beta went down to 19... I knew there wasn't any hope... Thanks for the support ladies, I really appreciate it.
