@bbrahmbhatt I saw a tiktok vid the other day that was a guy bringing his wife a coffee and a cat every morning. Set to a version of that Up song that tugs at your heart. I'm always the one making breakfast in my house. Because DH says he "can't make bacon like you do"
@keikilove I had bed and blankets, how could I forget the comfy pajamas??

@inthewoods23 haha I'm usually the breakfast maker, but since hes been WFH he has been making breakfast, which I must say is pretty nice.
@DoubleUp8 yes, support from DH is so great. Is he open with everyone, or does he just share his emotions with you? MH is such an open communicator with me, but he doesn't advertise our IF struggles to others.
1. My grad professors for being the most amazing support system 2. My peers who give all of us a laugh when we need it most 3. My friends who sent me loads of virtual hugs and memes on Sunday 4.
MH for being so loving and supportive 5. My ObGyn team who put up with the sh*t my uterus throws at them 6. Fire 7. Books 8. Wine 9. My dad who is seriously my biggest cheerleader 10. All of you lovely individuals
1. living in a townhouse with a backyard instead of an apartment. We moved here about a year ago and I'm so grateful to have this during the pandemic. 2. technology that allows us to connect when we're apart 3. being able to pursue my PhD. I wouldn't be able to do it without my husband's support. 4. my mint plant is growing even if nothing else in my garden is. 5. I have a pair of shorts that fit perfectly right now which is hard to come by. I wear them almost every day. 6. the sun came out after that crazy storm! Excited to get outside later. 7. my advisor who keeps me on track but is also understanding 8. our bed is the best. We have a California king from this local company and it's so big and comfortable. 9. my husband, parents, and in-laws 10. my dog -- I've had her for 13 years! She's the best.
@bbrahmbhatt He is pretty open about his emotions. We have not told anyone we were TTC, and we were only on cycle 3 when we got benched due to possible *TW: Loss*
The doctor suspects I had an early miscarriage. I have a very light period, which might have been very heavy implantation bleeding, so I didn't test. Then 9 days later a very heavy period. I use super tampons on a normal AF, so when I say heavy, I mean it.
But if our friends and family knew, we would tell them. Neither of our brothers have children (their choice, both do not want kids), so we do not want to get our parents hopes up if this is going to be a long journey or not in the cards for us. He's been great, though needing me to cheer him up. I am being much more practical and much less emotional. *TW: Loss*
He's fosusing on the loss. I guess I feel like we lost something we didn't even know we had. I am focusing on, we were able to conceive. I think from the light bleeding enough for me to think this was a period, something wasn't right and my body knew it. I'm hoping we are in the lucky 75% of people who go on to have a successful pregnancy following a early loss like this (would have been 5.5 weeks). Data and information are my coping mechanisms.

@DoubleUp8 it can be a really hard thing to talk about. Our immediate families know we are TTC, as well as a few friends. I have been more open about sharing than he has; not that he avoids talking about it, he just doesn't bring it up. Re *TW: loss*
That is a tough situation. We actually went through something very similar, and I think I coped with a mix of you and YH. It is awesome that you were able to conceive and I am hoping so hard that you will go on to have a happy and healthy pregnancy. I love data too, and there are some studies out there that do show a somewhat anecdotal increase in fertility after a loss. I hope that you are one of those success stories!
