My son went to his new school today first time for kindergarten. I've never been inside the school nor was I welcome to enter with him. Real school won't start till two weeks and they are calling this a camp right now but still 100 percent not how I felt his first day of school would be. He bravely hooked his mask on, got his temperature checked and hopped out of the car.

Did you at least get the requisite first day pictures?
@kloe818 glad youre finding foods you like to eat! Those are probably my top 3 least fave foods 😂😂😂 I orderes spaghetti and meatballs today, i couldnt do the meatballs (ive been having a hard time with meat this pregnancy) but it was delicious and the first full meal ive eaten in a few weeks!
@bcashaw I can’t eat meat lately either! Or much of anything else for that matter. I can have melons, baked potato, bagels, vanilla ice cream, and plain pasta with butter. The worst part is I’m craving everything but as soon as I get near food it all smells so horrible 🤢

@manillabar thats the worst! I can eat ice cubes and sometimes gelato. Meat is a hard no. Spinach salad with marble cheese chunks and apple has been okay. For about a week i was really into eggs, but no i can't stand the thought of them. Anything i have to smell being cooked is not happening, so basically i can only eat things that i order in. Nothing makes me sicker than water, but i crave it all the time. Anything even a tiny bit sweet makes me feel really gross while i eat it, but i can keep it down. Its been rough. I threw up a lot during my first pregnancy, but i still ate EVERYTHING. This is so different, less puking but also way less eating. I find my stomach growling often, but i cant even think about eating. This is on meds, i can only imagine if i didnt have them!
@bcashaw Last week I could not get enough pickles with cheese sticks. The week before it was beef. I could not get enough beef. I've been fortunate. The only thing I can't stand the smell of is bacon and cat food. I haven't had any real food aversions though I was not impressed with the smell of ham cooking last night but I didn't want to NOT eat it... Pasta sounds amazing. I'm gluten free so I rarely have pasta because the gf pasta, as a rule, sucks.
Hello! My school finally released their back to school plan and I will be remote until the end of the first card marking. I am excited I get to spent time with my kids and thankful my school is keeping everyone safety in mind during this time. My oldest son will be starting kindergarten and their school hasn't made any decisions yet so we will see. But I am glad to finally have some answers!

@erica0901 I'm a FTM and I seriously wish I had some maternity items in my stash! The progesterone bloat is real, and my stomach is feeling claustrophobic with my normal waistbands. It doesn't help that I generally prefer clothes with compression normally in my non-pregnant life, so all of my normal leggings are making me crazy right now.

@erica0901 I haven't busted out my maternity pants/shorts yet, but I feel more comfortable in the stretchy pants and have ditched denim all together already. I was just granted permission to work remotely so all my maternity dress pants and khakis will no longer be useful lol. OH WELL. @swbecca528 My hubby's a school teacher too and they're still working on their plan. My OB wrote a letter for him to be able to work from home because I'm high risk all around so it's likely he'll be remote teaching kids, even if they reopen.
@mvt2003 Yes, stupid progesterone! I'm on a supplement and it's just constant bloat.
@kloe818 I work from home as well and was kinda sad to unpack all of my maternity dress pants from last pregnancy knowing that I won't be able to wear them. Oh well, I suppose I may go back into the office at some point in 2021 haha!

@erica0901@kloe818 It's so weird to think that what I always assumed I would need one day for maternity wear will not be the case at this point! I'm thinking some maxi dresses to get me through this bloat season, then maternity leggings and a couple of nice maternity tops for Zoom calls, otherwise I'm living in oversized tee shirts haha. I won't need any nice dresses or work attire at all with the way things are going.

@erica0901@mvt2003 I fully intend on wearing my cute maternity tops at home, I don't care if no one can see me. I also have some really adorable sweater dresses from last fall/winter that will fit a growing belly and will wear those over my leggings. at least my top half will look professional. I may get called into the office occasionally, so I might be able to wear my maternity dress pants. I had fully expected to work in the office for the duration but worked opened up telecommuting 2 days a week and then the OB said I'm too high risk to spend much time in an office soooooooooooooooo there goes that.
Any tips on working remotely? I've never done it more than a day here and there on snow-days at a previous job.
Puked my guts out all day Sunday. Been fine every since. I wasn’t sick at all in my first pregnancy, and my second pregnancy I was extremely sick most of the time. Hope that was all
I'm so thankful to be WFH and not needing real clothes. Yoga pants have been and will continue to be my best friend. I've got a lot of basic maternity t-shirts from my last pregnancy that I'll probably take out storage soon.

@erica0901 I am definitely in my maternity pants. Regular waistbands are NOT my friend at all... I do need new leggings and yoga pants so I'm likely going to buy those soon
@bcashaw definitely the smell of anything cooking is not working well for me. I'm just hoping things get better as I approach 12w because I am not a happy camper lol
So the lovely tropical storm ripped through my town and just about the whole city lost power. God only knows how long it will take to come back on. I may not be able to be on much since I'm supposed to be trying to save my phone's batter lol

Definitely busting out the maternity clothes soon! But funny story....I haven't had to get my maternity pants out yet because I've been wearing stretchy/coumfy pants literally every day- one perk of being on shelter in place and not leaving the house! Lol
I have to brag on my kid. He is 8, and listens to me a lot more than I thought. A couple days ago I was complaining to dh about how my boobs were super sore and one is significantly larger than the other all of a sudden. So yesterday, my son and I were at the grocery store. Sometimes he stands on the cart in front of me and leans back against me while we shop. He did that and I gasped real fast, because his sharp little shoulder blade hit me right in the boob. He immediately jumped off, looked at me concerned and asked if he had hurt my boob. He’s so considerate. He’s going to be the best big brother.
@bcashaw I'm definitely rounding a bit. I posted some videos on my insta while working out and a friend who knows I'm preggo said when my shirt clung to my belly, she could see a little bump. I also wore maternity workout pants for the first time last week. They were a little big still, but man, they were so much more comfortable than the compression stuff I have.
