Product Spotlight Series

Hi everyone,

I know other BMBs have put together product spotlight series, where each week we can all discuss a specific baby/pregnancy related item type. I've created a preliminary spreadsheet based on a previous BMB's selections, but obviously we could adjust topics as necessary.

@mvt2003 This is awesome, thanks! I’m wondering if we should do the hospital bag essentials a little earlier since by March 15 we may already have quite a few babies...

great idea, thanks for taking that initiative 🙂 I definitely agree that it would make sense to move the hospital bag essentials earlier (I’d say start of Feb TBH - for people who like to prep and for some littles that may come a bit early (but not too early!)). I’d also suggest doing post-partum by around early Feb too so that people can have things on hand before the babies arrive. Maybe the solution to cover it all would be to condense a few categories (eg blankets may not need their own, could combine what look to be the 2 clothing ones (I can’t read the full names of them on the app, sorry), vitamins/skincare could combine to a healthcare type category, etc) and/or maybe some weeks have 2 product spotlights to get it all in?

Thanks @manillabar and @finnflan I'm wondering if it makes sense to remove the skincare category in entirety? I'm pretty sure the May BMB got this spotlight series running earlier, so that's why it runs so late for us. I also see they have 3 different categories of baby clothes (baby apparel, Baby 0-3 mos, and Baby 6-9 mos) maybe we should condense them into 1 and just use Baby Apparel? That way we finish the series before the end of March. Thoughts?

Could you change the access level on the google doc so we can edit? I think I tried it access and it says "view only". Also, typo "March 2021" not 2020
