Has anyone had success with breastfeeding after a breast reduction?

I had a breast reduction in 2017 not thinking that I would have another baby( my daughter is 12). However I am 32 weeks pregnant and would love to breastfeed exclusively. Any suggestions?

    Do some research. Ask your medical providers. Ask the doctor who did the reduction. Googling “can you breastfeed after a reduction” gets you a ton of results. Start there.

    I’d also recommend getting in touch with a lactation consultant. If there are specific challenges they will be best equipped to help you with them.

    I had a breast reduction June 2021 and I'm expecting now it's a support group on Facebook
