Trying to Get Pregnant

WTO Tuesday 7.28

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Re: WTO Tuesday 7.28

  • Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD: 25

WAYDTGKU: Temping, tracking CM, OPKs, PNV, baby aspirin, progesterone after O

R/R: DH and I are having “peach week” at our house since summer peaches are so amazing right now! So on Sunday for dessert we had grilled peaches with ice cream, yesterday for dinner we had peach Cajun sausages, and today for breakfast I made peach oatmeal! Now enjoying some peach iced tea.  If anyone has any ways that they love to use peaches, let me know!! I’m thinking we may do peaches in a salad for lunch or dinner tomorrow.

    CS/Q:

  • @runningoncookies YUM to all those peaches! lurking for ideas too!

    Month/Cycle: 7/7AL

    CD: 8

WAYDTGKU: prenatals, temping, OPKS, CoQ10, Conceive+

R/R: home today and trying to get work done as well as lots of chores.  hoping my early rise today gives me a good head start!

CS/Q: waiting on my labs still

  • Loading the player...
  • @runningoncookies what happened to your perfect BBT line?! :open_mouth: I hope that means O soon. Does your bbt dip pre-O?

@asf0613 I seriously don't know know why labs that take long. I guess it's a good thing we're used to waiting by now: between waiting for O and TWW, there's plenty of ways to practice the waiting game.

    Month/Cycle: 6/7

    CD: 7

WAYDTGKU: HIO, bbt, OPKs, CM, PNVs, Ubiquinol, melatonin, seed cycling, myo-inositol/d-chiro-inositol. Medical testing this cycle: HSG and more blood tests for my DH and I to complete our infertility panel.

R/R: Anxiously awaiting Thu & HSG. By all accounts, it's going to be an unpleasant experience. The RE prescribed Toradol (really strong NSAID) to take just before the procedure. And I'll need MH to drive me home. At least I'll walk away from that test knowing way more than I know now.

CS/Q: too early to share. I'm so over BBT though.

@runningoncookies love grilled peaches with ice cream. How about a peach caprese? Mozzerella, tomatoes, peaches, basil, olive oil, balsamic, salt, pepper 😘 I bought all of those to make it this week.

@acleverusername very exciting things this cycle! Good luck with the HSG.

@asf0613 I hope you get your lab results soon and good luck with being productive today!

WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPK, Proov strips, HIO ED,

R/R: I'm weirdly fascinated/obsessed with OPKs. This is magic lol. Questions over in the OPK help thread. Oh and my help desk never overnighted my new laptop charger like they were supposed to so now I'm getting it today (instead of on Friday last week) but pretty sure my computer is the problem...the saga continues 🙄

CS/Q: a bit rocky on the temps but still in line with my pre-O temps so I should still see a rise just fine 🤷

  • Lurking from TWW but just want to spread the gospel of this absolutely perfect peach and corn salad, which I eat constantly this time of year: https://www.halfbakedharvest.com/spicy-corn-and-peaches-with-burrata/. With peaches, corn, peppers, and herbs, I feel like it's basically summer in a bowl.

WAYDTGKU: Mira, PNV, OPKs, etc etc

R/R: Well friends, I'm back. I needed a break from posting because I was so upset about my super long anovulatory cycles, and it got frustrating to live over here in WTO without ever making it to TWW!! But, it's cycle day 20 for me, and if I have a chance of ovulating it'll be in a few days. The last time I ovulated was over two months ago! Otherwise nothing is different with work and staying home.

    CS/Q: none

@runningoncookies grilled peaches sound so good!!

@asf0613 hope your labs come back fast!

@acleverusername Good luck for your HSG!! That's in my future in Sept if I'm not KU by then.

@kvh22 hopping over to learn from your OPK questions!

@the_most_happy I love burrata!! Will need to try that!

  • @acleverusername seriously its all just awaiting game!will be thinking of you thursday
@kvh22 ummm peach caprese sounds amazing!
@priyadoc im sure it must be so frustrating, but glad to see you back here.  crossing everything for you that you O!
  • @acleverusername right?? Haha I’m like if it’s going to change from my beautiful consistency I would like to O! I haven’t gotten a pre-O dip in the past (often I get a dip on O day), but I guess maybe there’s a first for everything? Good luck with the HSG...I’ll be doing that in August if I’m not KU, so I’m curious to hear how it goes for you.

@kvh22 yummm I love regular caprese salad, but have never had it with peaches! That sounds delicious!

@the_most_happy oh my goodness. That looks amazing!!! I love everything that I have ever made from half baked harvest so I’m definitely going to have to try that!!

@priyadoc FX that you ovulate this month!!

@the_most_happy OMG I'm obsessed with HBH! DH asks if what we're eating is hers b/c I cook her recipes so frequently (and then he knows to be excited). I should try that corn peach salad as well. So many peaches and we have 2 ears of corn left from the farmers market.

  • so i missed my doctor's call when i was on the other line, but she left a voicemail saying all looked okay and that i can call her back to chat through.  im curious what feedback she has, or if something was like borderline or whatever.  now we're playing phone tag but i least i know nothing is catastrophically wrong at this point
  • @asf0613 did YH do an SA yet?

@runningoncookies @priyadoc will report back on my HSG experience.

    Also @kvh22 & @asf0613 thanks for the well-wishes w/ my HSG.
