  • I am officially no longer "plus size" for the first time since before I was pregnant with my four year old.
    I just had to go buy enough maternity clothes to get by in size 12 / mediums. I started out a solid 16 (occasionally an 18)  and none of my maternity clothes (all 16/18, XL or XXL) fit.
    HG sucks.

    I overdid it today. We went to my Aunts to go swimming and I felt great but when we sat down for dinner I lost all the color in my face and felt like I got run over. I laid on my Aunt’s couch and fell asleep for two hours while everyone else played games and had dessert. DS was busy with my niece and DH kept an eye. I felt terrible to fall asleep but I felt like a mess.

    @the_road_to_oz I’m sorry 😞

    @bearmomma1 and @babymakes9 Most days I have no idea what day or date it actually is lol

    @dreamscapes_  Ugh that’s a PITA!

    Edited for grammar

  • I bought my first pair of maternity shorts today! I’ve got plenty of dresses I can wear but I want pockets for my dog walks so I can listen to something .

    I didn’t zip or button the shorts  I wore today 🤷‍♀️

    @dreamscapes_ I wish I had a dishwasher!
  • @autumn87654321 it came with the apartment! 🤣

  • So apparently I’m due 12/10 and this whole time
    I thought 12/11 oops lol I’ll blame pregnancy brain haha
    DS born 2016
  • @jbal918 I understand that. I’m due on the 12th but I decided it’s the 15th for some reason so I keep forgetting what the actual estimate is
  • @jbal918 @autumn87654321 hahah with my last I could never remember my due date correctly. I always thought it was July 8, even though it was the 9th. Which made me think it was a sign that she was going to be born on the 8th....nope!

  • @bearmomma1 my due date with my son was two weeks after my first anniversary- I said the whole pregnancy “don’t come on that ONE day” one guess what day my water broke? 😂🙄

  • I keep having a dream that my water breaks in my classroom around Thanksgiving break 😂😂 if we are even in school by then! I plan to go as long as possible but DS came at 38 weeks when my water broke at home. I joke I’m glad it broke before I had him in bed because I thought it was just normal labor pains and put an ice pack on my back and went to sleep 🤦🏽‍♀️ I was almost 6cm when I got to the hospital... Oops lol

  • We have watched Hamilton 2x on Disney + since it came out & I keep listening to the soundtrack on Spotify on repeat. Realizing I’m slightly obsessed! I wish I had seen it sooner!’

    @shelmcclel I'm finally going to watch it this weekend!  DH and DS are going to my ILs for a long weekend so I finally get the tv 100% to myself haha.

  • I fell for the first time today. I took DD for a walk and she didn't want to ride in the stroller, so it was a risky walk. We were going up the street and it looked like she was about to take off into the middle of the road as a car was coming, so I dashed after her, but she juked me and turned the other way! I tripped over my own feet trying to get her and I fell and she fell and we both sat on the side of the road while the car drove by. My hip and shoulder hurt, but fine otherwise. Then a few minutes later she did run out into the middle of the road and ran away from me as I tried chasing her....needless to say she was strapped into the stroller right after that and we came back home...walking with a toddler should be a high risk activity while pregnant!

  • We are watching our hockey team play our biggest rivals!  Pregnancy trash talking is a little intense.  Sorry hormonal!
  • @bearmomma1 Oh no that’s super scary! Hope you’re ok! I can’t imagine chasing a toddler right now 😳

    @shelmcclel Yessss! The soundtrack just gets better and better each listen. And I cry every time. “It’s quiet uptown” is maybe the thing that gets me the most emotional in the world. I’m actually tearing up now just thinking about it.
  • @bearmomma1 feel better! Falls are no joke!

  • @bearmomma1 Take it easy! I totally understand what I that’s like! With my first two kids, I had a strict policy that if they ran away from me we would go home immediately, whether it was the library or the zoo or wherever. I stuck by it and it worked really well, but for the third one (who just turned 2) we can’t really go anywhere besides a walk, so I’m having a hard time getting her to stop running from me!
  • @laurenspdx same! So emotional. I think even my Dad started crying during that part of the musical.

    I’m trying to memorize Washington on Your Side as my new karaoke masterpiece when we can go back out!
  • I can’t sleep, so I just ordered a couple of things from our registry (outfits that I wanted to make sure didn’t get discontinued, since they’re summery). Tell me how I accidentally ordered two of the same Mickey Mouse romper in the same size 🤦🏼‍♀️ At least I can return the second one.

  • @dreamscapes_. Or you could just keep both.  Never can have too much Disney!  I was thinking about you while looking through my party supplies.  I threw a Mickey themed baby shower a couple years ago and found the supplies.

    So our new house has a built in bar in our living room.  I am pretty sure that is why my husband bought this house.  After spending a crazy amount of time doing registry research, I went to my husband and was kinda complaining about it.  Within one minute, he decided we need a bottle washer like they have at bars.  Another minute later and he has found a video commercial for them showing them cleaning wine glasses, beer mugs, and baby bottles.  Looks like we are getting that!
  • We are venturing out for a car hop diner thing today. It’s the first time since March we are really doing something. I’m excited and nervous but we need to get out of the house. I called to make sure the bathrooms are open because it’s an hour away and I know I’ll need to pee lol... DS is super excited because he just knows we are going somewhere lol

  • @jbal918 that sounds like a lot of fun, I hope you have a good time! A tip for bathrooms- if you’re ever in a bind or (like me) don’t trust a single bathroom around, take some baby diapers in the car. It’s not the easiest but you can squat in the backseat 😅 I’ve only had one failure out of many successful reliefs!
  • @jchpg Thankfully they had clean bathrooms! And DS only had to go once and I went twice lol
