WAYDTGKU: benched for a few more days

R/R: DH's boss grows zucchini and apparently they got out of control this year. She asked if we wanted some any I said yes, thinking I'll make some zucchini bread. Holy sh*t, the size of the zucchini he brought home. Describing won't do it justice so I'll include a picture. I'm pretty sure I can make 6 loaves from this one zucchini! Other items incident in picture for scale. So yeah, that'll be a project this weekend.

@gingermama29 i have seen some big zucchini this growing season but I think that one wins!

R/R: DH was in call today and of course they called him in at 1:20 am. 😭 Was really hoping he’d get a surprise day off! I feel bad because we were up a little late to make time to HIO. Although my lingerie came in yesterday a week early, so that helped some! Was hoping to go pick out new flooring but not without DH, so I guess that will wait. My PM OPK was damn near positive so we’ll see what this am’s looks like to see if I surged overnight and missed it or if peak/positive is today.

@gingermama29 OMG those are huge!!! all my zucchinis died. i have one lonely eggplant and more tomatoes than i could ever eat, but they aren't ready yet anyway. also i sincerely appreciate the MULTIPLE size referenced you had in the photo!! more importantly, yay for just a few more days on the bench!

R/R: TGIF! we have a busy weekend ahead. DH's niece's bday party is this weekend and i offered to help my SIL out setting up saturday for the party Sunday. i think theyre getting an inflatable water slide?!? i literally just slathered on self tanner this morning so i dont reflect in the sun (to add, is just immediate family but they wanted to make it special for her)

@gingermama29 DH and I are growing zucchini for the first time this year and had no idea how out of control it would get! We picked one a week ago that was literally bigger than my head. So far it has made: 4 loaves of zucchini bread and zucchini fritters and we still have some in the fridge! And on top of that we have currently 4 other good size ones sitting on our counter. We are legitimately eating zucchini every single day.

R/R: Happy Friday all! I haven’t been working on Friday’s because of summer school hours, but I have to get some stuff done today. At least it’s gross outside here so it’s not like I’d be doing anything fun anyway. I went for a run this morning and thought I was just going to absolutely melt with the humidity.

CS/Q: I would love to say my OPK was darker this morning but it 100% was not. Just gonna keep hangin out here forever I guess haha

@runningoncookies those temps though! So consistent (which I know may be annoying but DANG).

@asf0613 I nannied first a family one summer that had an inflatable water slide. It was awesome! Sounds like a great time will be had!

Finally hit a positive OPK this morning. Will probably be my peak as it’s the darkest one I’ve seen from myself! Feeling such relief!

@chindimples04 the consistency of my temps makes me laugh every morning! I’m weirdly proud of them even though I wish I could just O and move on lol!!

@runningoncookies exactly my thoughts. I had the same temp two days in a row and just giggled, can’t imagine 5 days in a row.

@runningoncookies good for you for getting out on a run! I used to live in humidity and got pretty used to it. I remember my friend who'd been interning in California struggling to run when we studied abroad in London b/c of the humidity. I've now lived in CA for 9 years and when I go visit family in New England I totally understand. It's hard to breathe when the air is a good part water 😂 I feel like I can get used to anything. The below freezing temps also hurt my lungs now but when I ran winter track growing up running outside was NBD. It took me a few runs to get used to wearing the mask but now I walk in the door and forget it's on at the end of my run 🤷

@asf0613 omg will you go on the water slide?? That sounds fun!
