CD/DPO: CD31. FF says 13 DPO (a record!) but i think premom is right at 12DPO

Timing: -5, -3? could be -6, -4?

Testing: an expected BFN yesterday and will test again if nothing tomorrow

R/R: ladies i've been so MIA! life has been crazy this past week. I officially restart commuting back into Manhattan next week--2 days a week but i'm still not at full pay so i've been doing a lot of reevaluation about my career. DH especially is on me about this. Otherwise, ive been busy WFH, working at the restaurant and trying to keep up with the house which has been a total failure. Today is big cleaning day, but i'll also be lurking on the past week of things here since i haven't even been doing that! eeek! hope everyone is having a good week so far

CS/Q: idk whats up this cycle. my temps are wild, but no real changes that i can attribute it to. also longest LP since i started tracking almost a year ago

will add chart once TB lets me???

@asf0613 I saw you commented and my first thought was haven't heard from her in awhile. Sometimes staying busy is good. Totally with you on the cleaning day today!

R/R: rave: thank goodness my thermometer remembers temps!

Rant: premom thinks I ovulated later based on temps. It doesn't line up with my cm, expired opk's or cramping...

CS/Q: question about opk's. Does anyone have a quick LH surge? How often do you test if you do? I know my opk's were expired, but testing twice a day they went from no line, light, darker, lighter, no line.

@asf0613 hiiiii! I’ve been looking for you! A 13-day LP, that’s amazing. While here I am on track to have my shortest ever?!?! How did Proov tests work out for you. Also, what kind of career changes are you thinking? Wow... definitely lots happening in your life.

Testing: why bother?!

R/R: Argh, my luteal phase spotting has been begetting worse and worse. In Mar, Apr, May it was only like 1 day before AF. Last month it was 4 days. This month it started on 8DPO! I don’t freaking know what’s happening to my body. Starting RE convos today since it’s our final month of trying on our own given AMA. Basically just super bummed about spotting and about this obviously not being our cycle given my dropping temps so soon in LP. Way earlier than normal.

Currently at the lab to get the last of my NaPro lab work up done (for this month anyhow; have to go and test my E2 3x during FW next cycle). Hopefully the blood tests reveal something about my body’s misbehaving.

Rave: really loving Whole30. It’s not even a struggle; we used to eat pretty well before this anyways, but I thought that cutting out dairy, grains, and gluten was gonna be tough. It really hasn’t been!

CS/Q: Meh. Don’t know who to trust. RHR lines up with FF.

Whoops @Kenneylynn3 I’ve were typing at the same time. I have a quick LH surge!!! It’s a pain in the ass because I have to test 3x and try to do a 3+ hr urine hold in between. Try that while also trying to stay hydrated. I’ve posted an example of my testing times / results in spoiler.

@acleverusername boo for spotting so early. Hoping you get some answers. Also, thanks for the times and hints. It this cycle doesn't work. I'll try that next time (if this cycle doesn't work).

@kenneylynn3 i typically have a quick surge too! when i see it happening i honestly use a strip every time i pee just so i truly know i caught the peak

sorry about this being the last cycle too. proov worked just fine! i expected to start seeing a negative on the last day because my LP is usually so short, but i never did since my body wants to play tricks on me this month! i was pleased with it though, i was glad to confirm i O'd, i just wish our timing was better this cycle before i start CD3 testing next cycle. I'm not sure about work. i think i've jsut learned that i might want to get into something that WFH is a reality for. granted i wouldnt want that FT, but my industry is all in person and took a hit. i want something more financially stable. but will see how it goes, certainly not rushing into anything AND i'm technically in a contract so we shall see! the early spotting really sucks

@asf0613 hi! Oh man back to the city next week? At least just starting 2 days/week. Do you know how much longer you won't be at full pay? I keep wondering how many companies will just keep employees home for good, I've heard a lot are keeping people home until 2021. Do you know what kind of career change you'd want to do?

@Kenneylynn3 I'm thankful for my recall feature on my thermometer also! AFM, I don't always look to find a surge on my opks since I'm temping too- I'll see the line is getting darker and then we keep hio until I get cross hairs on my chart too.

@acleverusername good luck with your bloodwork today! That's great that Whole 30 is going so well! I think I would struggle with dairy.

R/R: MH went for a SA and genetics bloodwork today. This is a huge rave for me- we've been in different places about seeking RE help since January (me being pro, him wanting to wait till the end of this year) so I'm really feeling good that we're moving forward now.

@_orchid_ yay for your dh being on board and getting testing done.
If anything I'm looking for the surge to get too know my body better since we have to time appropriately using a known donor.

@Kenneylynn3 gotcha! I will say in my case I only get dark opks for about 36 hours, otherwise the test line is very light and it's clearly negative. I think I've only caught a blaring positive once, but knowing how quickly they go back to negative for me helps me pinpoint that window

@_orchid_ no idea what i'd get into, but i have marketing background so something related. so glad YH got on board and got the testing done. i'd have to imagine most men would want to avoid doing that if at all possible and i dread ever having to have that convo with DH.

@asf0613 good to see you but hopefully you wont be here much longer!
@Kenneylynn3 how did you get Premom to show your whole chart? I have been using that app for 8 months and I haven't figured it out and it frustrates me all the time! I also have a quick LH surge. I will have really light OPK's for days and then when I set it getting slightly darker I'll start testing 2-3 times a day. I usually catch a peak that way but it is hard to discern the peak from the high unless I get it timed just right. Then it's usually back down to quite negative that evening or the next morning.
@acleverusername so glad you're liking Whole30! I have been enjoying it too. I find that I am actually full between meals and not snacking much. I also found some Whole30 snacks at Aldi for a little treat. I tried to find a link or picture but I can't they are these date/hazelnut/coconut balls you could probably make them too.
@_orchid_ I'm so glad YH is finally on board! Better late than never!

R/R: MH and I are going through a rough patch. So much so that I said that if I'm not pregnant this cycle then I don't want to TTC anymore. I do mean it but I kind of hope I am pregnant so I don't have to stick to my word. I want to work it out but he needs to make some significant changes. We went through a lot of issues in January right when we started TTC but he resolved a lot of those issues. There are still some underlying mental health and behavioral issues that he needs to take care of. He has been on antidepressants for years but I think he needs regular weekly or biweekly appointments with his therapist and possibly some anxiety meds. I guess more so than just hoping I'm pregnant so I don't have to deal with my ultimatum, I hope that he addresses his issues and shows effort to change so I don't have to deal with my ultimatum.

@krash_ I'm really sorry to hear that you're having issues with YH. TTC efforts can't be helping that. It sounds like he's made lots of progress since you last talked about it. Is that something you need to push him on? Or does he independently realize that he needs to work on himself? Either way, it's a tough one.

@_orchid_ So glad YH did his SA! I know I really struggled with getting mine to go (and I complained about it here). It can't be a comfortable experience for the men (then again, I lost track the number of times I've had to expose my most intimate parts to a doctor). Maybe with all the PAPs we have to do in our lives, we're just desensitized. Anyway, it sounds like you guys are in sync as this journey moves forward and that's a great thing.

@asf0613 I totally understand your desire to move into a career/field that's less exposed to the whims of the economy. MH and I fully realize that we are blessed to have been able to seamlessly transition to WFH, w/o impact to employment or wages. If you have a marketing background, it should translate well to another industry that has a WFH option. Good luck!

@acleverusername TRUST ME i def dont want to (but i expected it since our timing was off)
However, i am excited(?) about getting CD3 testing so this cycle is one that may at least give answers

@krash_ I'm sorry you're struggling with YH. DW battles with depression and sometimes it's really hard. For the premom, when I click on chart, the whole thing showed, but was small, so I rotated my phone and it made the chart landscape, which I found easier to read. Then I took a screenshot.... Sorry. That probably doesn't help at all. My other app wouldn't show my whole chart, so I took a pic of the premom one.

Well, it looks like it _has_ been the shortest LP for me as AF knocked on my door just now. Though technically I guess Day 1 would be tomorrow since she arrived after 5pm. Oh well... this cycle will be filled with new discoveries!

@Kenneylynn3 Maybe you should try new OPK in next cycle since the result of expired OPK might not be accurate. Good luck
