**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Testing: next weekend

R/R: oh so glad it's only Saturday! 2 days off work feels great. Tonight we celebrate my SIL's birthday and she wants Olive Garden. I ALMOST had to give a big ol' NOPE but I guess they recently started carrying GF pasta so woot. I'd be so curious what the response would have been if I had to say "sorry there's nothing here I can eat besides the salad".

CS/Q: I am happy to report CHs this morning! Weirdly, the Flo app also gave me CHs but at the following day. I used to think the Flo app was better with the predictions but now it seems to suck at it - probably because there's now way to indicate IVF cycles and such or maybe Flo just puts the predictions the day after the last positive.

I love that we're doing these pics for GTKYs lately! I'm 100% a chip which fan, but do also love the chocolate eclair

  • I may post and ghost today as we have family coming to visit this weekend.

@inthewoods23 yum olive garden. The only thing I can eat being df are pasta with meat or marinara sauce and minestrone soup. I miss their salad dressing.

  • @inthewoods23 *lurking for WTO* they have the salad listed as containing dairy o lm the website. 👎🏼 I’ve been craving Olive Garden but haven’t gone because I can’t get anything I like there being DF.

  • @chindimples04 the salad itself? Or just the dressing? Cuz that would be lame if I can't even have the salad on its own 😔

@inthewoods23 I hope you have a good evening celebrating your SILs birthday and that you can find something you can eat there. Gluten free pasta is actually pretty good; I’ve tried edamame and chickpea pasta recently and will buy again. Are you eating in or take out? Either way, stay safe out there!

@Kenneylynn3 enjoy time with your family. And look at those Rocky Mountains o n your BBT chart! FX that the temp drop on 7/16 is the mythical “implantation dip”!

    @chindimples04 👋

    Month/Cycle: 6/6

    CD/DPO: 21/6 or 21/5 Premom vs FF

    Timing: -4, -1, 0 (Premom)

    Typical LP length: 11-12

Testing: Proov starting tomorrow; also currently at the lab to test progesterone, E2, and male hormones the NaPro OB ordered for me. HPT 7/21 day of first RE consult.

R/R: my boobs finally stopped hurting (they were tender for pre-O until about yesterday). I was so annoyed since it’s too early to SS, which I’m getting ready to do. 😜

CS/Q: Looking good both on Premom and Tempdrop (FF). I’m super tempted to read into differences between current chart and previous months’ charts but I won’t. Well maybe I’ll use the chart compare tool on FF just to torture myself. 😆

GTKY: What's your go to specialty ice cream treat?

King Cone or Ice Cream sandwich.

  • @inthewoods23 they don’t have the dressing listed separately, so I’m guessing it’s the dressing since the vegetables are obviously dairy free. Eating out is so hard. Hopefully you can find something to enjoy!

  • @acleverusername I don't think I've tried GF pasta of that type. I've tried brown rice pasta and that is DELICIOUS. One brand was so good I had DH taste it and he said it tasted just like regular pasta but maybe a little gummier in texture. My boobs had these poking pains the other day too which isn't normal for me. But also, you can't have PG symptoms at 2dpo 😆

@chindimples04 I'm glad I rechecked their allergen chart, cuz the damn grilled chicken has dairy! Ugh, usually that's a safe option. I guess I'll be having the GF pasta with marinara and some Italian sausage. I'll bring my own dressing along for the salad. DH's family I don't think has ever actually sat down to eat at an Olive Garden. It's always takeout.

  • @inthewoods23 sorry for the delay in response. The dressing has cheese and the croutons contain dairy. @acleverusername I had no idea about an "implantation dip" a girl can dream. 😂 at 2DPO symptoms. Glad your boobs don't hurt anymore.

  • @chindimples04 meanwhile, my mom on her own bought my vegan butter and made the Live G Free brownies (from Aldi's) using that butter for me for 4th of July weekend. She also bought GF pancake mix and used my oat milk to make for breakfast.

I think she knows why I'm on the diet even though I have never talked to her about it besides saying to her face that it was my doctor's suggestion. She never pressed for more thankfully, but I have said a little bit about it on FB which she has definitely seen. So I'm pretty sure she understands the importance. MIL stopped going on FB so she doesn't see any of this stuff, but she did hear from DH that we've gone through IVF. She has no idea we've had a transfer failure. I'm surprised it hasn't occurred to her that the diet is for all the infertility stuff.

  • @inthewoods23 I’m glad your mom Is so supportive, that has to be helpful, especially not having to talk about it. I hope you have a good time celebrating!

    Month/Cycle:  13/12

CD/DPO: 35/10 (I ovulated about 6 days late for some reason)

    Timing: pretty good

    Typical LP length:  12 days

Testing: Caved and tested today, but wasn’t expecting much for 10 dpi, I’m going to test again Monday or Tuesday

R/R: I’m working this weekend, but I haven’t been feeling too well so I took a nap today.

CS/Q: I’m not temping or anything; I did it and it made me crazy, so I just use Flo.

GTKY: What's your go to specialty ice cream treat?

I love ice cream, but I’ve been digging sugar free popsicle lately. My favorite when I was a kid was the strawberry eclair.

@inthewoods23 @acleverusername @Kenneylynn3 @chindimples04 have any of you tried Ronzoni's cauliflower pasta? It's cauliflower, rice flour, and fava beans, and says it's both DF/GF. I had it for the first time this week and couldn't tell the difference once it had sauce on it (it smelled like cauliflower when I drained it though). I didn't tell H (who HATES cauliflower and always makes fun of me when I try different pastas) and he ate two servings of it before I told him. He usually does all the cooking and is very much a foodie and the only thing he noticed was the strands were shorter than our usual.

@inthewoods23 I'm glad your mom is supportive without you needing to spell it out. Your MIL sounds like a pill. Do you think she'd be more aware if you told her why or do you think she'd just be more obnoxious about it?

    Hi @bbrahmbhatt and @MidwestBrunette!!

    AFM:

    Month/Cycle: 15/13

    CD/DPO: 17/4?

    Timing: 0, -2, -4

    Typical LP length: 11-14

Testing: maybe Friday? See what my chart says

R/R: It's been hot as balls where I live (yay heat wave) so I've been staying inside and cleaning. I deep cleaned my kitchen on Friday for 5 hours!! I have a project for school I've been procrastinating so that contributes to the cleaning, but I'm trying to buckle down today to finish.

CS/Q: I didn't temp for 6 days at the beginning of my cycle so I'm not sure I had enough baseline data. Also my post o temps have been lower than usual so I'm not 100% sure WTH is happening. I did get 3 positive opks over 36 hours so 🤷🏼‍♀️ I think now that I'm starting to test with the RE I'm not thinking about temping as much

GTKY: What's your go to specialty ice cream treat?

Strawberry eclair bc I never get anything like those otherwise!!
    MidwestBrunette
  • @MidwestBrunette Welcome! Did you end up testing today or did you resist?

@_orchid_ that makes sense re: not tracking BBT anymore. One less thing to have to think about (though there will be plenty more to replace it given RE testing). I have ambivalent feelings about BBT anyway since it's a lagging indicator.
