I do not trust my employer to provide us with appropriate PPE. I meet two medical conditions to apply to teach remotely, I'm applying. F it. Parents, if you can, keep your kids HOME.
my most recent unpopular opinion is telling my husband that we need to defer our NFL season tickets until 2021. He’s really not happy about it but even if they tell us we can go to a handful of games and social distance, I’m not going and don’t want DH to go! He disagrees with me. I just hope they’ll finally say there can’t be any fans at the games so that we can stop arguing about it!
@shelmcclel we did that with our MLB tickets. The Orioles had a deal where you either got refunded 100% or got 125% as a credit to use next year. We hopped on the credit for next year. I'm with you - I wouldn't be comfortable going to an NFL game or having DH go this year.
@shelmcclel I can’t believe they’re even entertaining the idea of a season, let alone one with fans. I have a friend who’s a PT for an NBA team and she’s currently in the “bubble.” The protocols they have in place are absolutely wild. I don’t imagine the NFL has even come close to that level of preparation. Anyway, hopefully your debate will be a moot point soon and you won’t have to worry!
I have started to love going to Astros games. Given the drama this offseason, MH was planning on boycotting this season. I hope that he will be satisfied with this "boycot" this year and we can go to games again next year
@karmba ahh I hope they offer that 125% credit to us! I will jump right on it & tell DH to suck it, lol.
@laurenspdx I totally agree! It’s insane. The first pre-season game is only a month away so they’re going to have to tell us what they are doing soon!
@gh1219 I also love going to Bucs games - we throw a huge tailgate party for every game. I guess we’re going to have to figure out what to do with our little one next year (probably get a babysitter next year but eventually we’ll have to get her her own ticket)
