Re: WTO Thursday 7.16
Month/Cycle: 20/22 including 2 benched.
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: OPKs, Tracking CM
R/R: My other big audit wrapped up yesterday! It’s huge weight lifted, but now I need to circle back to everything I’ve been ignoring to get these done. I saw on our town’s Facebook page that the community pool has had very low attendance in the afternoons (like less than 10 people) so I think I may take tomorrow afternoon off and check it out as a reward to myself. Looking forward to doing something “normal” because the summer is just slipping away!
CS/Q:
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: OPKs, HIO EOD or ED, PNVs, CM, CP, temping, charting
R/R: our district released plans for back to school this fall and I am far from impressed. Parents can opt for their child to participate in virtual learning but otherwise, I will have a full class 5 days a week. No masks required, no additional spacing between kids, no safety precautions put into place for our staff, nothing. I have never prayed so hard to get KU so I could be considered high risk and not have to work in person. I miss my kids and my job but going back at full capacity full time is NOT keeping the safety of students and staff in mind and I am livid.

TTC#2 | June '20-February '21 | DS | Due October 27, 2021
@chindimples04 omg I would be freaking out. What state are you in, if you don't mind my asking? I can't believe they're not putting in ANY precautions or requiring masks at the very least!
Month/Cycle: 13/8
CD: 14
WAYDTGKU: benched until August
R/R: new fridge day!! It's supposed to be pretty stormy and rainy this afternoon which should make unloading the fridge super fun for DH and BIL. Plus they're putting the old one in the basement. My job is just to clear out the fridge and freezer and put everything into coolers. I definitely have the better job 😂.
CS/Q:
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: HIO, CM/CP
CS/Q: Got another higher temp 98.11. I think our room must just be hot. Our AC thermostat is down stairs and we close our door to keep the cat out a night. I think our room is just warm at night. I'm just proud I remembered 2 days in a row. We will see what tomorrow brings! Yay data!

@chindimples04 😮 really? That's their plan? I would be livid too. Did they release info to parents yet? Where are you located? Are you planning on taking safety procedures for yourself besides a mask?
Month/Cycle: 15/13
CD: 14 (I think O was yesterday but waiting for tomorrow's temp before I move over)
WAYDTGKU: BBT, opks, pnvs, hio EOD, every acronym
R/R: I rolled over on my cat in the middle of the night and startled her, so she clawed me up a bit. Not a nice way to wake up! Took me awhile to fall back to sleep so I'll probably be dragging today. The weather is only supposed to be high 70s today (and then high 90s this weekend) so I'm hoping to get outside to enjoy it today!
CS/Q:
@DoubleUp8 boo that he has to travel! Do you know when you usually O? Hopefully this weekend is too early to miss it!
@gingermama29 yay new fridge day! I hope it all goes smoothly.
@_orchid_ I'm sorry you had such a rude awakening. I booted the cat out of the bedroom about 6 years ago because she was such a pill to sleep with.

@chindimples04 UGH! I’m so sorry that your district has such a weak plan in place. That is so frustrating.
Month/Cycle: 8/8
CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: temping, tracking CM, OPKs, PNV, baby aspirin, progesterone after O
R/R: Sorry I didn’t get a chance to check in yesterday! I had a back to back schedule of testing kids to see if they qualify for speech services, and ended up being at my school from 7:30 until 3:30. Let me tell you I was SO tired when I got home! I know that is a normal length work day, but I haven’t had that much in person kid interaction in months!
CS/Q: still spotting a little from my hysteroscopy, and OPKs are staying super light. I’m thinking this may be another long cycle ugh.
had hand sanitizer strapped to my badge and washed my hands every chance I got. People just don't get how poorly schools are set up for this.
@gingermama29 at the risk of sounding sexist, sometimes it’s nice to be a girl haha
@DoubleUp8 yay data is right! I hope ovulation holds off!
@_orchid_ oh enjoy the break from the heat! And don’t you wish there was a way to tell your cat that if she doesn’t want to get rolled on, she can find her own bed?? I do have about a million other audits to do, but no urgent deadline except that I worry people are going to be annoyed that things are dragging out. So I’m giving myself today and tomorrow morning to catch up on small stuff and then back at it next week.
@runningoncookies yes I was so tired my first day back in the office! I still only go in when I have to but it’s gotten better.
@chindimples04 I have no words. My California self cannot comprehend. My county and most around me are virtual in the fall but Bay Area is worlds apart from Wisconsin. Even where I grew up in NH, that seems extreme but I haven't checked in. My sister is actually applying to be an OT at a school district there and little ole me just assumed that would mean she'd be virtual but maybe that's not the case.
@gingermama29 you definitely have the best job today! So exciting.
@DoubleUp8 good luck on timing!
@_orchid_ omg that would be a terrifying way to wake up!
@runningoncookies ugh sorry about the potentially long cycle. My last one was 38 days but I've had longer while TTC. I'm prepared to O on the later side but also have O'ed on CD14 after a long cycle before, too, so I'm just going to have to act like I'm in my FW forever.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 4
WAYDTGKU: planning to do all the things - HIO EOD/ED, BBT, OPKs, Proov strips, CM, RRL tea during FP, Pineapple core after O.
R/R: I didn't buy clippers b/c they were so expensive when I cut DH's hair back in April but just got some for $30 on Amazon and DH's hair looks pretty great. I used teeny tiny scissors last time and the sides were too long and the top was too short (intentionally to make it last longer) but this time it looks pretty close to how he usually gets it cut. I could have used scissors for the top and it would have looked better but the longest clippers (16mm) were pretty good - almost as long as I like it - and SO quick. We're basically not planning to get haircuts until after there's a vaccine which is fine by me (i got it cut in October and frequently go 1-2 years without getting it cut again)
CS/Q: No real chart yet but I'm pretty excited for the OPKs and Proov strips this month since I'm not sure if last month was an-O or just off (19 day LP shouldn't happen). DH has no sperm issues and I'd previously read that means every 24 hours is fine to HIO. Anyone advised or seen research otherwise? O was earlier than I expected last month coming off of BCP so I was lax and doing every 2-3 days since I didn't think I was close and if it wasn't an-O and I O'ed when FF says, we had really bad timing. Since I'm expecting O to be even earlier (closer to my normal), I'm planning to do every 24-36 hours but wasn't sure if aiming for 24 was okay.
@DoubleUp8 the cat can open the doors in our house if she's desperate and also has no problem yowling outside our door for hours if we lock it 😆
@kvh22 good job with the haircut! I'm still learning lol. I gave DH haircut #2 a few weeks ago and actually started crying halfway through 😂 he was like WTF why are you crying. It's been a few weeks and has grown in fine (he actually liked it better) but I'm scarred! I have a haircut schedule for next week and I'm so excited.
@runningoncookies Yes, totally exhausting when O moves and you end up having to cover weeks!!! I missed O with OPKs one cycle and started them the day after O and took them for 2 weeks while we were trying to mostly do every day.
@kvh22 I've been cutting DH's hair since this started. It's nerve-wracking, but so far so good.
@_orchid_ I'm lucky in that my car has no meow. She moves her mouth like she is meowing but no sound comes out. She makes a strange quiet "mrrrrp". She's weird. 💓🐱

@bows22 yes girl, take the afternoon. Especially if crowds are going to be that small.
@gingermama29 girl sit back and relax. Enjoy the new fridge without the labor.
@DoubleUp8 Nice job remembering the temp. You may just have higher temps, that’s totally possible.
@_orchid_ are you in the Midwest, sounds like the weather we’re getting here in Wisconsin. It was beautiful today. Also we go back September 1. We were told a plan wouldn’t be put out until August 1 but that was clearly a lie. We were also told that masks were going to be required and that was also a lie.
@runningoncookies oh Em Gee, I hear you on the in person kid interaction. I’m not sure I’ll be ready to see kids eight hours a day when we go back this fall.
@kvh22 I’m trying to decide if I want to keep every other day or try every day. O it is anticipated for Sunday so if we do every other day and I O on Sunday I’m going to miss -2 timing, which I’m not thrilled about. Timing HIO is hard.

@chindimples04 no, I'm in NJ but glad you're getting a beautiful day there too! I'm hoping we find out our plan soon, there have been a lot of rumors and I'm just ready to start mentally preparing.
@gingermama29 feeling any better?
@DoubleUp8 I hope timing works out with YH traveling.
@_orchid_ ooof that's a rough wake up. Hope you were able to enjoy the nice weather yesterday! And yes, I was definitely feeling better in the evening. Thanks for asking 😊
@chindimples8 that's so frustrating. I hope you get KU and can teach virtually. I can't believe they don't have safety measures going into place!
@runningoncookies I get it was so great to see your kids again! I definitely miss my students.
@kvh22 you're so brave to cut YH's hair. I told mine I wasn't comfortable doing that. He needed one badly! Thankfully my mom cuts hair and did his when we saw her a month ago.
@bows22 I'll definitely be getting some excedrin for the next time one hits.
