Re: Weekly Check-in /// Week of July 13
Also is anyone eating pineapple?! I’ve been reading mixed reviews online and not sure if it’s okay??
Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 1/8, 14 weeks 4 days
Very much a planner, it calms me to research things. I also love throwing a good party
@oaktree6 So glad you got to get away! That sounds delightful.

briemo short you two weeks!! Probably based on the day of your last period, huh? Love pineapple! I've read that only if you eat a ridiculous amount (like maybe an entire pineapple in one day) then it's maybe a concern (in some studies, which who knows how reliable they are. I'm eating it here and there.
whitealbum29 I was in that "just over 3 month" zika window too from a trip in Dec/early Jan. My Dr. said she's not concerned in the slightest and wouldn't even recommend the test (which she said was very unreliable??).
oaktree6 I don't use the app, but I access the forum on my phone. I just have the forum favorited, so I can always come here easily!
aels12 Yay for baby belly! Mine is still small, but MIL noticed it immediately when we arrived (we had not told her before), so I guess it's apparent enough.
biased by my love of routine in general, but I can testify that a routine for baby is a lifesaver for all involved. It helps the parents plans their day and makes for a calmer life when baby knows the rhythms of the day and what they can expect. Even in the crazy newborn days, when it’s hard to predict nap times, it was helpful to have a rhythm. And our life took a 180 degree turn for the awesome once we were able to sleep train and have scheduled naps and bedtime.
@supersara2 Congrats on a girl! Wow it seems like team pink is filling up here! That's good that you're thinking about precautions, it sounds like you're planning all the right things. If it's a good company that you trust they should be happy to answer all the questions you have and if you get a bad feeling from the conversation, they're not worth working with! Can you all be outside as much as possible while they're doing the work?
@lavenderclouds Hopefully the final doctor doesn't give you any trouble! Maybe if you find one far in advance (if you haven't already) and explain the situation, other people must have moved far away late in their pregnancies! Life happens. That's good to know re: the three month window! Oh and thanks for the GTKY question, that was yours again!
@amm126 sorry that happened with the Doppler, that must have been very unpleasant till you got to see it on the u/s! I'm glad you got to see it. I don't have experience, but did the doctor seem pretty unconcerned like this is just how some babies are positioned?
