    Month/Cycle: 2/1

    CD/DPO: cd39/20dpo????

Timing: who knows but we haven't done anything after I got crosshairs so if I O'ed at all and it was late enough to have a normal LP I'm out

    Typical LP length: 15-16 days

Testing: got a BFN on a new FRER this morning. I needed that as one last final confirmation.

R/R: we had a great weekend but I hate Mondays. At least I have a slow day work wise.

CS/Q: temp veryyyy slowly going down and I've been crampy the past 3 days (but not until the evening the first day) which hopefully means AF is around the corner. Also, is there a chance I haven't O'ed yet? First cycle off of BC I O'ed on CD 36 or 37 last time. I only got dotted crosshairs b/c my cm was confusing (basically never really got dry like this cycle). Any thoughts? Lurkers welcome since there aren't too many ppl in TWW right now compared to WTO. Should we be HIO?? 98.4-98.6 is my normal post O temp range (I temp vaginally, too, so less susceptible to outside factors but we were in the same place, kept the thermostat at the same temp, also summer, etc.)

@kvh22 to my trained eye, you’re reading the chart correctly. I think you O’ed on CD19. The temps are consistently higher thereafter despite the double-dip (I often have a double-dip in luteal phase). But... yeah, no idea where AF. As for “should we HIO”?! Why not! Gotta keep those skills sharp, right?!

    ***************************

Yay, I’m here now, despite O really sneaking up on me! My O has moved up from CD21 during May cycle, to CD17 in Jun cycle to now CD15. WTH?

    Month/Cycle: 6/6

    CD/DPO: 16/1

    Timing: -4, -1, 0

Typical LP length: No typical length b/c low progesterone; last month I pulled out a 12-day LP!

Testing: Proov testing to confirm ovulation on 7/16 & again 7/19-7/22 to check progesterone levels. hcG on 7/21 ahead of RE appointment booked for same day.

R/R: small rant re: my body... my O has been moving up, and I almost missed my FW this month. I definitely didn’t get a true “peak” since I didn’t test for 13 hours on Saturday. Generally I start testing 1x day on CD10 and then 2x a day on CD14. Well my high-peak-high combo happened on Day 14. Had I tested on Fri evening, I probably would have known to be more vigilant and test more on Saturday.

Though I do hope the reason my cycle is shortening has something to do with seed-cycling which I’m doing for the 2nd month in a row. 🤞🏻

CS/Q: I’m trying out Tempdrop but also keep using my Premom bbt thermometer. So far I’m unimpressed. I paid a bit extra for the one that could be returned within a year and I think I’ll be returning it. The temps are SUPER inconsistent and don’t line up with morning temps as measured by Premom. (Using FF to chart the Tempdrop ones.)

@kvh22 I don’t think you should still be hio, but your chart is a little hard to read. With all of the triangle temps, and no ewcm, or opks, you could have ovulated in several different times this cycle, IMO. I would say either your current o date is correct, or somewhere between 24-28. It’s a pain trying to nail down the temping thing, hope you get some clarity soon!

    Month/Cycle: 13/12/5 al

    CD/DPO: 20/4

    Timing: good

    Typical LP length: 12-14 days

Testing: Haven’t decided yet. I’ll probably wfaf.

R/R: FF isn’t showing any crosshairs for me, but I’m pretty positive that I’ve ovulated already. I think I messed it up by being lazy and not tracking cm this month. For my own mental health I’ve been trying to distance myself from so much ttc talk and thinking, which is why I haven’t posted as much recently.. but anyway, life is food. We had a good weekend. Dh went back to work from vacation today though.. ☹️ My ob wants me in for cd 23 testing in a few days, I’m hoping it will give us some kind of insight on my cycles. Doesn’t cd 23 bloodwork only look at progesterone, and if I’ve ovulated or not?

@kvh22 sorry for BFN and cycle confusion. can't hurt to HIO right?

@acleverusername i was wondering if i should have used the Proov test over the weekend to confirm ovulation, oh well.  i will probably start wednesday? 7,8,9,10 DPO.  your timing looks good though! it sucks when you can't predict FW creeping up on you!

    Month/Cycle: 7/6 AL

    CD/DPO: 23/5 according to FF

Timing: -5, -3 according to FF

    Typical LP length: 11

    Testing: probably not

R/R: its been a busy few days here.  Friday i had my annual and doc will proceed with CD3 testing next cycle which is sad but also makes me feel hopeful. worked yesterday and saturday DH and i had a really nice dinner

     TW loss

it was my empty due date so we wanted to do something to commemorate the day but also make a happy memory, so it was nice

CS/Q: well FF randomly assigned O day to my peak day, but whatever.  i'm honestly not even sure why i'm temping this cycle because our timing sucked and i'm not feeling optimistic.  i just want to get to my next cycle at this point

@photographerwife hmmm, CD23 bloodwork? I’ve had CD21 bloodwork done which, yes, only looks at progesterone. But that’s the first step... knowing that you ovulate. Then hopefully she’ll have you do CD3 BW.

@asf0613 AFAIU (understand) you can use Proov any time after 3DPO since any lightening of the test line will confirm ovulation. Although the test is only FDA approved to confirm ovulation, many (as I gathered from the Facebook group) use the 7-10DPO testing to confirm sufficient progesterone. (If test is positive, i.e. no test line, means progesterone is OK.)

@kvh22 I agree with @photographerwife that your chart could go either way IMO. Either way I think you're past O, but it's good to try to keep HIO without the pressure of O, you know? Are you taking any OPKs? I would consider adding those next cycle if not, just to get another level of data.

@acleverusername I've had FW sneak up on me before too! It's a total mind game! Hopefully your HCG will come back with happy news before your appt!! FX!!!

@photographerwife Sometimes a little TTC break is needed!! I do believe CD23 testing only confirms O through progesterone, although I feel like my doctor tested a few other levels at the same time? I'll have to hunt back through, because that was in 2018.

@asf0613 Sending hugs for your empty DD, hoping so hard your rainbow is right around the corner!! <3

@kvh22 hope AF shows up soon for you so you can get to the next cycle.
    @acleverusername what's seed-cycling? Sorry O snuck up on you!
@photographerwife hope testing gives you some answers.
@asf0613 that sounds like a nice way to commemorate the day.
@mvt2003 hopefully the tree company shows up. So glad the transfer went well!

R/R: temping has been a struggle. Usually I temp between 4-5:30. Today I woke at 3:15, temp in chart.  I feel back asleep around 4:15 and when I woke up at 5 temp was at 97.2. Should I input that temp instead?According to CM I O'd on Friday or Saturday. Saturday I had cramps like I O'd. I used expired opk's (not realizing they expired until later, do need month I will use opk's too.)

@kvh22 I would say it is possible this was an an-o cycle for you. It's hard to say that you O'd at all based on your temps. I hope AF comes soon so you aren't stuck in limbo anymore.
@acleverusername it's wild how different the BBT thermometer and Tempdrop are. I guess it's not quite worth the investment if you are just questioning it's accuracy all the time.
@photographerwife I have heard that the CD 21, or 23 in your case, should really be 7 dpo BW. If you O'd on CD 16 then CD 23 makes sense. I hope you get some clarity soon!
@asf0613 hugs!  <3  I'm glad you were able to make happy memories on that day.
@mvt2003 yay for the transfer! I'm glad everything went well! FX so so hard for you!!!
@Kenneylynn3 I would probably stick with the temp from 3:15. I often have a couple dips in my temps after O and a slow rise. Hopefully you will see your pattern shift soon!

    Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD/DPO: 14/1

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, 0, adding +1 today

    Typical LP length: 14 days

Testing: not for a loooooong time. So sick of BFN's.

R/R: Apparently we really suck at HIO EOD. MH is hopefully getting his SA scheduled for this week. I will follow up with my Dr after I confirm O and see if I can get in for 7 dpo BW. I have no reason to believe I have low progesterone but I'd rather have all of the information. MH is off on unpaid leave this week and next so it will be hard to get work done with him just having fun all day. One week into Whole30 and I made the mistake of stepping on the scale. Now I know why they tell you not to do that.

Timing: Not sure but if I O'ed on CD 14 it would have been pretty good.

    Testing: Tomorrow

R/R: I initially said that I would wait to test again until I am late but think I am going to re-test tomorrow monring using my last expired Wondfo unless I get AF before the end of the day. I honestly 100% thought AF would have been here by now. I continue to feel cramping but no AF yet so my curiosity is getting the best of me.

    CS/Q: No chart.

@krash_ The scale is the worst!!! Hope you and your husband and able to get all of your appointments scheduled but hoping even more that you don't need them.

@mvt2003 Rooting for you so hard!

@asf0613 I'm happy to hear you were able to have a special dinner with your husband.

@photographerwife Glad to have you back but totally understand the need to take a break.

@acleverusername I had never heard of seed cycling before. Had to look it up but interesting!

@kvh22 Sorry I don't have any helpful feedback. Just wanted to say that both of our cycles this month seem to be confusing and messing with us! So I feel you.

@asf0613 keep me posted re: Proov! Also, very happy that you were able to create some good memories where your DD would have been. 🤗
@mvt2003 I hope work eases up a bit so you can relax post-transfer.
@Kenneylynn3 seed cycling involves ingesting different types of ground seeds (either flax + pumpkin, or sesame + sunflower) depending on whether or not you're in follicular or luteal phases. It's supposed to enhance body's natural hormone production. There isn't much scientific to conclusively support that it works; for me it falls in the "it can't hurt" bucket, and it's pretty cheap & easy to do. Check it out here
@krash_ LOL @ sucking at HIO EOD. TTC aside, that's a good problem to have. Hopefully YH SA will come back normal and you don't have to slow down your activities. Also, I started Whole30 today! I've hidden the scale not to temp myself.
@jenotontx FX for your test tomorrow. Rooting that it's a +ive. Doesn't it suck that AF and early pregnancy share symptoms? MH calls the body a "disaster" from an engineering perspective.

@asf0613 I'm glad you got to spend some time with YH doing something nice this weekend <3

@Kenneylynn3 I'd agree to stick with your earlier temp. I notice that my temps seem artificially high if I was awake earlier and don't get to sleep for the full 3 hours, especially if it pushes the time that I temp out later than I'd normally temp. This is especially true if you get up and move around.

@jenotontx ugh sorry this cycle is so confusing but I'm hopeful for you!!

For those doing Whole30 (@acleverusername, @krash_ ), I'm so impressed and in awe. I don't think I could cut out dairy and grains (and sugar but I think you can still have fruit and such?). I equate it to running a marathon. It sounds cool but I could never pull the trigger. I run but I'm not that committed. I don't eat processed foods for the most part and cook almost every day but I loveeee cheese. And bread :D

@Kenneylynn3 another vote here for earlier temp! i hate when that happens though
@krash_ lol at struggling with the HIO EOD.  but in all seriousness, hopefully next few weeks will show better scale results
@jenotontx FX for you testing tomorrow! not out til youre out!
@acleverusername a friend was just telling me yesterday about seed cycling and is supplying me a full list of things to try later this week.  just another thing to do i suppose!
@kvh22 yeah i couldnt do it either.  i am ALL about treating myself when it comes to food.  i am (currently) blessed with some good metabolism but i know it wont last forever.  also cheese and bread  = life

@asf0613 ditto on the metabolism. I find if I can balance working out a bit then I can do an 80/20 of healthy and treating myself.

I've been spotting when I wipe since this morning but nothing enough to call AF yet. Hoping to move over to WTO tomorrow (finally) but glad to see it's picking back up over here. When your LP is 20 days, you get to be in the dailies with just about everyone ;)

@asf0613 I'm pretty sure seed cycling extended my LP to 12 days last month. I'm _really_ hoping that it'll help my progesterone issues, though I've started supplementing with melatonin this month too, so it progesterone is good this month, I won't be able to say what exactly helps. I learned about seed cycling in the Proov FB group. That group has been a source of all kinds of info (some good / some bad).

@kvh22 before doing my first Whole30 in 2015 (? I think) we ate a lot of processed food and never really cooked much. It really pushed me to find new foods and new ways to enjoy them. I'd say it did change my eating habits indefinitely but I still go back to a lot of sugar and carbs. I just love pizza and cookies! It is easier to do it with someone and I have done all of them with MH and we are really competitive and I don't want to be the one to give up.

@krash_ ahh okay, got it. Yea we have pizza every Friday night but I make it from scratch with 50% AP / 50% whole wheat flour. I don't even buy bread at the store anymore, I just bake it every week or two (with my sourdough starter that I swear I got going the week before things started shutting down so before it was cool). DH will eat what I cook. I did cauliflower pizza crust for a while but it was crappy and we might as well just have done something else since neither of us enjoyed it. And I make cookies at least once a week but this week it was PB+egg+coconut sugar+chocolate chips+vanilla. So technically GF although you wouldn't really know it. So, so good!!!! But still has sugar so not whole30. And can you have chocolate on whole30? I always use dark chocolate (70%) but still some milk, right?

@kvh22 you can have unsweetened coco powder in things or cocoa nibs but Whole30 is also about changing your relationship with food so if things like that would be triggering for people who crave the sugar or chocolate that would be considered "sex with your pants on." Like stuff that is essentially compliant but mimicking a food that wouldn't be compliant. Whole30 also isn't intended to be a long term diet. It is an elimination diet to cleanse your body of things that could be negatively affecting it. Then after the 30 days you should do a reintroduction where you add one food group back at a time and see how it makes you feel. You can then tailor your everyday diet to the things that make you feel best.
