Trying to Get Pregnant

WTO Tuesday 7/14

  • Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD: 11

WAYDTGKU: temping, tracking CM, OPKs, PNV, baby aspirin, progesterone after O

R/R: It’s a big testing day in our household today! DH is doing his SA this morning, and I’m going in this afternoon for my hysteroscopy. I’m a little anxious about it, but I’m sure it’ll be fine once it’s actually happening. Luckily I have a busy morning at work to keep my mind off of worrying!

  • Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD: 6

    WAYDTGKU: HIU, CM/CP

R/R: Had a really light period. Lasted the normal 4 days, but very light flow. This is not normal for me, usually there is at least one super tampon day. I'm hoping that was just stress related. I hope this cycle is better. I have worked some time to workout back into my morning routine now that we are coming out of social distancing and self-quarantine, so hopefully that will help with my stress.

CS/Q:  Bought a Basal thermometer. Would people recommend I start temping tomorrow, Day 7, to get the hang of it?

  • @runningoncookies hope all the tests go well today!

@DoubleUp8 tomorrow is a good time to start the BBT. I wouldn't start up too late because I think it can potentially make FF's O date off or not certain if you've only got like 3 temps before the shift from O. Although what probably matters most is not skipping/missing days once you start. GL!

WAYDTGKU: dancing under the blankets with conceive+ and menstrual cup, temping, OPKs, GF and DF diet (when I'm not eating cake 😬)

R/R: I keep forgetting that I'm off Thursday and Friday this week so today is my "Wednesday". We're not doing anything special besides a day trip on Thursday. No plans for our Friday except maybe cleaning up the house? And DH got his winter tires off yesterday finally! Oh goodness. But at least he'll be good having these on for about 5 months or so before it gets cold again for winter.

CS/Q: hurray for having OPKs again 🙌 check out my surge in the span of 6.5 hours yesterday. So glad I tested last night. O day is likely today!

@runningoncookies good luck with your hysteroscopy! Treat yourself to something good after! I was sedated for mine (they were removing something) but I felt fine after so it must not have been too bad. Hopefully yours is also!

@doubleup8 yeah I would say tomorrow is totally fine to start!

My CM is starting to change so it’s almost go time!

@DoubleUp8 agreeing with everyone else. Tomorrow is a good time to start temping.

R/R: Not much going on today. I'm finishing up laundry and have chicken fajitas in the crock pot for tonight. DH open the inside of the oven this weekend to see what the igniter looked like so we'd know what to get. On a whim, he decided to try lighting the oven again and it works perfectly. No idea why it didn't work the other day but we've used it 3 or 4 times since and there's been no issue. So that's some good news at least!

    CS/Q:
  • @gingermama29 oh fajitas *drools*. That is ALWAYS a good meal.

  • @runningoncookies hopefully you get some answers from your tests and procedure today. ❤️ Good luck!
@DoubleUp8 is start as soon as you can, even if it doesn’t give you reliable data this cycle, it will help create a habit. :-)
@inthewoods23 Yayy for OPKs! Glad you caught your surge!
@bows22 hopefully you can get your work done so you get HIO!
@gingermama29 so glad your oven is working again! So strange that it decided to do nothing for a while. Must have needed a break!

WAYDTGKU: scheduled HIO, PNVs, OPKs, CM, CP, charting, temping

R/R: Finished our master bath yesterday! Still need to paint the ceiling, the vanity, and get new floors but even just the wall color change made such a HUGE difference! Hoping to start in the half bath vanity today! Want to practice on a smaller vanity before I do our master bath one. Before and after in the spoilers.

CS/Q: my temp dropped today, which usually means O is within the next few days, which is easily 3 days earlier than I’d expect. I haven’t even stopped spotting from my period yet! Hoping it was just poor temping on my part, but I guess I’ll be peeing on all the OPKs the next few days.

  • @chindimples04 I can't stand beige walls, just seems so blah. It's funny, it looks like you just switched the wall and ceiling colors in the before and afters  :D The new color looks great! How are you painting the vanity? I'd like to paint ours in one of the bathrooms. It's got oak laminate so I'm not sure if we need to do extra steps other than paint it. Not sure if we need to strip it first so the paint adheres better.

@inthewoods23 yay for OPKs! i was lurking to see if they arrived on time yesterday for you.  catch ya over in TWW  B)
@chindimples04 the paint really spruced up the room! nice work!
  • @asf0613 yeah they finally showed up around 6:30! What was weird was that it looked like the test I used yesterday had teeth marks from a pet and so when it showed up positive I was like... can I trust this to not be faulty?? lol but slightly darker test this morning so my surge definitely goes from 0-100 real fast these days. Can't complain, I do at least get positives for a day and a half.

@runningoncookies yay I hope everything comes out great and you get some clarity!

@DoubleUp8 I would start temping as soon as you get it. It's not too late IMO (I think you need 5 temps before O so that should be perfect). I had to dig mine out and thought I was going to O later last cycle so only had about 5 before FF gave me crosshairs. I wish I'd started earlier.

@inthewoods23 would today be your Thursday then? Either way, sounds like it'll be a lot of fun AND productive. Yay for the OPKs! That's great :)

@bows22 that's perfect timing for your work to calm down.

@gingermama29 so close to being unbenched!!! And that's a relief about the stove. I love when I have things in the crockpot in the morning and dinner is simple.

@chindimples04 I have longer FPs and my temps are super rocky until the 4-5 days before O, then they get more consistent so it might just be a random fluke this morning with a lower temp. It'll be interesting to see if it's back up tomorrow but definitely good to be using the OPKs so you don't miss anything.

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 2

WAYDTGKU: Debating EOD or every day for HIO (maybe every 36hours if we can make that work lol), PNVs + a few other vitamins, BBT, will be doing OPKs this time and debating Proov but having a hard time pulling the trigger since I know last cycle was just my hormones regulating so even though it was wonky, I have long LPs so progesterone in general isn't an issue.

R/R: We had a pineapple with our tacos last night. I have this tool that makes cutting them super easy AND it leaves the center perfectly intact so I cut it up and put it in the freezer and was telling DH about "using it" (fatal flaw in wording) after ovulation. I remember when I was on here a couple years ago someone else had the same thought as DH when it was mentioned but when I clarified that I'd put it in smoothies he was like "oh I was really worried where it was going to go considering where you put your thermometer" (I temp vaginally) :D

    CS/Q: Nothing to see yet.

  • @kvh22 you could call it my Wednesday or Thursday. I say Wednesday since it's the middle of my week which in a normal work week is Wednesday  :) omg pineapple in the hooha sounds like a recipe for disaster!!  :o

  • Hysteroscopy was a success! My RE said that my uterus looks completely normal and he doesn’t have any concerns. Definitely was uncomfortable, but it wasn’t worse than bad period cramps. I’m feeling fine now but will be continuing to take ibuprofen through the afternoon. Thanks for all the good vibes friends!

@DoubleUp8 agreeing with everyone to start temping tomorrow! It never hurts to start early.

@inthewoods23 so glad that your OPKs came in time!!

@bows22 I already have some cookie dough ice cream in the freezer that is calling my name lol! I’m glad that your nearly done with the big audits you have!

@gingermama29 yummm for fajitas. My parents oven has done that a couple of times (usually on a holiday lol)...I’m glad that it’s working again and hope fully it stays that way!

@chindimples04 the paint change looks great!

@kvh22 lol to YHs thought process of where that pineapple would go 😂

It’s a long story but there is an end in sight, and later this year I should go back to normal. But between covid/having to audit remotely and a ton of new clients I am struggling big time.

@gingermama29 I’m glad your house deciding to take a break from revolting against you!

@chindimples04 the bathroom refresh looks great!

@kvh22 I’m a big fan of every 36 hours but we can’t seem to make it work out. That’s actually my goal for this cycle too. Best of luck to both of us haha

@runningoncookies Im so glad the procedure went well! Enjoy that ice cream!
