It can be, it may not be. We can not tell you. If you are not filling up a pad, and it's very light you SHOULD be ok. Any concern you really should be calling the nurses line of your doctors office. They can give better info and tell you what to expect/do/etc
Yes, spotting can be normal. That said, I would contact your doctor and let them know and discuss your concerns. They can tell you at what point they consider it a concern.
