Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Friday 7/10

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Month/Cycle: 2/1

    CD/DPO: CD36/17DPO

    Timing: -4, -1, +1

    Typical LP length: 15-16 days

Testing: I need opinions (lurkers from WTO welcome)! Should I test this morning on an expired cheapie, expired FRER, or new FRER? I told myself I'd wait until today (17dpo) if no temp dip or cramps and that all held up but I'm second guessing myself after BFNs on FRER at 11dpo and an expired cheapie on 15dpo 😝

Update: BFN on expired cheapie and expired FRER. I trust it b/c the FRER only expired in April. I just didn't feel optimistic with the other BFNs and didn't want to waste the new FRER.

R/R: this wfaf shenanigans giving me (likely false) hope.

  • @kvh22 I would have peed on all of those sticks already 😂. At this point I would honestly just use the new FRER so there are no doubts. Good luck!!!

    Lurking from wto

@kvh22 I’d test with the new FRER just so you know for sure one way or the other! I’m always of the opinion that once you are past your LP you need to just pull the trigger (unless you are waiting for a beta or something like that)
  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: CD 23

    Timing: Not sure

    Typical LP length: 12-13 days

Testing: I will probably use an expired cheapie today even though it could be too early still and I didn’t even think to do it first thing this morning lol

R/R: Sooo happy it’s Friday. Work has been really stressful lately to the point where I was even dreaming about work last night 😣 I also found out this morning that one of my best friends tested positive for Covid. She said she feels like she is on her death bed so she’s not one of those asymptotic people unfortunately. I’m pretty worried about her and her family 😞

    CS/Q: No chart

@jenotontx so sorry about the work stress and your friend 😞 Thanks to you and @bows22 for the testing advice. I realized the expired FRERs weren't that expired (I actually probably would have waited to buy more but forgot I had those). BFNs so I'm just WFAF.

    CD/DPO: 3DPO, Transfer on Sunday

    Timing: Will be excellent

    Typical LP length: On Progesterone

    Testing: Beta in 2 weeks!

R/R: Insurance gave us a slightly nauseating quote to repair all of our damage from the tree, so we're forging ahead to get that started, tree company #1 is coming today, we're going to see how much they'll charge just to clean up and get the yard safe again, then move on to tree removal (on our dime, not insurance's, so there goes my Peloton/embryo testing fund) later this summer.

Otherwise, I've got a busy work day today, and I want to get caught up on some laundry and cleaning, so here's hoping I get everything done before Sunday!!!

  • @kvh22 At 17DPO, it's definitely time to use the new FRER! Go forth and POAS!

@jenotontx I'm so sorry about your friend, sending her all of my good thoughts! One of my friends also had it in March, and said it was not fun and she felt really sick and tired for quite a while, but she came through it ok, so hopefully your friend will power through it!

  • @kvh22 I would use the new FRER, too!

@jenotontx I'm so sorry about your friend! I hope she is feeling better soon!

    Month/Cycle: 18/1 AL #2

    CD/DPO: 16/2

    Timing: Pretty good

    Typical LP length: 11-12 days

Testing: I'm having my FU appointment on Thursday, so they'll be checking my HSG levels. So it depends on whether they're back to zero by then.

R/R: When we bought our house, we were on a much tighter budget and had no idea what we were doing, so I've been slowly replacing our cheap/bad landscaping with more permanent landscaping. My FIL is on his way over to help me cut down some trees that I planted too close to our deck, so I'm excited to have a new landscaping project once the trees are gone.

    CD/DPO: 3dpo

    Timing: -3,-1,O

Typical LP length: 10 to 11 days

Testing: I'll probably cave and start at 6dpo with my expired wondfos...just cause I have them and might as well use them up:)

R/R: Just trying to wait patiently for the days to pass so I can test...

    CS/Q: Nope:)

  • @kvh22 I would have used up all my tests by now!

@jenotontx I'm so sorry about you're friend. Someone I went to high school with just passed away from covid at the beginning of the week. It is such a horrible scary thing!
  • Well I got a BFN today but I'm still holding out hope...

@Panaceia It really is awful. She was around some of her extended family over the holiday weekend and two of her family members are feeling sick right now as well. They are waiting for their results to come back. Hope the next few days go by fast for you!

@mamasloth I hope it's back to zero Thursday so you can move forward. Good luck cutting down the trees!

@mvt2003 Nooo not the Peloton/embryo testing fund! I'm so sorry. That really sucks. :(  I'm glad your friend got through covid ok. It's such a scary situation because people have such different outcomes/experiences.

@kvh22 I'm sorry to hear it was a BFN :(

  • @kvh22 *lurking from WTO* I didn’t get a temp drop until CD2, not that I wish that for you, but maybe your body is playing mind tricks on you.
