  • How far along are you? — 25+2

How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)?
Physically- I’m finally off my nausea meds but heartburn is kicking my ass.
Mentally- I’m still terrified of not bringing this baby home and scared of another NICU stay. I don’t think I will be over that until he’s here and healthy.

Any upcoming appointments? — 26 week appt next week.
I’m going to have them make a plan with me in case of preterm labor (very likely). The base hospital doesn’t have a NICU so I would have to give birth at a British hospital of baby comes before 36 weeks.

    How far along are you?

26 weeks today. I lost my first baby at 26 weeks so it feels really good to reach this milestone.

How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)?

Really good! I’m finally starting on the nursery, going to try and paint this week. I have had terrible heartburn, hoping the old wives tale is true and baby will have a lot of hair.

    Any upcoming appointments?
July 16 for 28 week OB and a growth scan.

    Pregnancy Ticker
  • I’m officially *that* person who went to L&D twice in one weekend. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️.
First was for contractions and irritable uterus that were caused by dehydration (can thank heartburn and DS’s illness for that). Second was for pressure which ended up being baby pushing his head right up against my cervix. I feel silly now but honestly I do feel better. They did a TV US and my cervix is still long and shut. This is the point where I had issues with DS so I’m really hoping the fact that it’s still closed means I will get farther than 30 weeks this time.

  • @profmcgonagall Can they do a rescue cerclage just in case?  If my sac had not been leaking that's what they were going to do with me.
    Current pregnancy -
First BFP on 1/4/22.  Due date 9/13/22.

Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.

  • @kboydbowman, I had a preventative cerclage placed at 14 weeks. It’s doing it’s job right now but I’m still nervous it will fail.

  • @profmcgonagall gotcha.  Just try to remind yourself that every day inside counts for the baby, and celebrate every day you get!  Believe me I know that's difficult, but you're doing the best you can.

How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)? Not great. Terrified of another loss. I was doing really well, but that’s not how grief/trauma work, I guess. Everything looks great so far!

    Any upcoming appointments?
I had my 3-hour glucose test today, and then have a perinatologist appointment on 7/21. I’m looking forward to the twice-weekly monitoring, but that doesn’t start until 32 weeks- I wish it started earlier.

How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)? im exhausted. I’ve been having Braxton Hicks since 21 weeks, but now they are getting intense. Trying to stay hydrated and make it as far as I can.

Any upcoming appointments? Next check up 7:24

  • @lilbubb, I’m also having intense Braxton Hicks and it sucks. I was told to drink my body weight in ounces of water which is hard. I feel like all I do is drink water and pee.

  • @profmcgonagall I hope the contractions subside soon! They can be so uncomfortable. And forcing water like that is hard too.

  • I think I’m panicky because the baby still doesn’t have a consistent movement pattern (27 weeks). He’s usually pretty active at night, but the other night he was so quiet. I am starting pretty regular kick counts now. But since my daughter was stillborn, any change in movement makes me so anxious. I feel like my mind automatically assumes the worst right away.
