R/R: had to call the cops last night at people who were shooting off illegal fireworks at 11:00 pm. In my state, you can shoot fireworks that leave the ground without a state issued permit. They clearly didn’t have one, because 5 minutes later, it was quiet. Hate to be a party pooper but this has always been my least favorite holiday. My dogs are both high anxiety and they can’t handle all the booms. Plus, DH has to be up at 2:30 am for work.
GTKY: Do you have any plans for the 4th? Sprinkler, sparklers, grilling, and an obligatory pic for the gram. 🤷🏻‍♀️
CS/Q: I woke up sweating multiple times last night. Body temp is definitely rising.

@chindimples04 (sorry for the miss tag!) I hope it was a good sign. I was hot last night too. I kept me up for hours and I was kicking off the covers meanwhile, DH was under a blanket and a quilt. He is usually the hot one. That said, I feel like I am trying to see symptoms any where I can.

R/R: Well it doesn’t look like this was our cycle. I still have some work that I need to finish this weekend and I’m looking forward to getting it done, probably so that I can feel some kind of control over some aspect of my life. Ugh. Happy 4th to those of us in the USA! It was fun watching Hamilton last night and thinking about the beginning of our country (and what they would be thinking about the country now)

GTKY: It’s too hot here, humid and gross. No big plans today. Tomorrow we are celebrating my grandma’s birthday with a picnic. It makes me nervous because covid is starting to get crazy in our area, but she understands and is willing to take the risk to have everyone together, since’s 89 and anything could happen at any time anyway. I see her point, but I don’t like it

R/R: My boobs hurt! 😫 I’m sure it’s all hormonal due to this being my first month off BC but dang. My body needs to chill out!
GTKY: Do you have any plans for the 4th?
Spent the entire day in our pool yesterday and plan to do the same today! We had a bunch of different plans for this week but everything got cancelled due to covid. I can’t complain much though because we are super fortunate to have our own pool.
CS/Q: No chart

@bows22 I’m sorry about the BFN. I haven’t watched Hamilton yet but I’m really excited to see it!

@doubleup8 Hope you enjoy your last day of vacation.

@chindimples04 I can’t stand the constant fireworks every night. Fireworks on the 4th is fine but the nights leading up to the 4th and the week following the 4th annoys the crap out of me!

@bows22 sorry about the BFN. Our weather is similar here. Hot and humid!

@jenotontx especially with the 4th being a Saturday this year. THERE IS NOT REASON TO SHOOT OFF FIREWORKS ALL THE DAMN TIME. This is seriously my least favorite holiday.

@bows22 I want to watch Hamilton but don't have Disney+ so will probably wait a while. Sorry about the BFN. Same boat over here. Did you use a cheapie or FRER?

@jenotontx hopefully the sore boobs is a good sign! Jealous of the pool. Our apartment complex has one but it's obviously closed right now.

Testing: BFN on FRER this morning so I think I'm out. If I was a few days later we still have a chance but I took a few OPKs that were negative, then got crosshairs and CM dried up so I don't really see how that'd be possible.
R/R: I know a longer LP is better than a short one but it's annoying when you just want to get onto the next cycle.
GTKY: Do you have any plans for the 4th? Nothing much. Might watch some virtual fireworks this evening
CS/Q: a BFN on an FRER at 11DPO should be pretty definitive, right? Yesterday's was on an expired cheapie so I was holding out hope.

@kvh22 I’m sorry about the negative. 11DPO can still be too early for some people. So I wouldn’t completely give up hope but I understand why you would think you are out.

I got a very clear positive at 11DPO in the past. Might be gross and I'm not planning on saving it long term but I actually still had it in the box with some unused FRERs and found it when I pulled those out this morning (forgot I had them). I feel exactly the same with the cramping and such too which is a mind f*** b/c that's not normal for me but I did only have one period between my last two pregnancies so maybe that is what I feel like now?

I'd rather get a BFP of course but I'm trying to rationalize why it would be inconvenient now to try to trick myself into being fine with it 😂 Like more time for covid to go away, not having to go to our super intense conference next August andband leave a 5mo baby b/c I'd be back from mat leave by then if we had gotten pregnant this cycle, more time for nutrients from my new PNVs to make sure I'm in optimal health, etc. If AF is longer than day 16-17 (so 5-6 days) I'll test again.

@chindimples04 Oo is chart duo in the VIP mode? I thought I'd tried but didn't plan to pay for it.

@kvh22 I have no idea. I got one year VIP when they had a sale a few weeks ago. I didn’t try before that.

@jenotontx Also super jealous of your pool. Our neighbors said we could go over and use theirs whenever we want, they are in their 70s-80s and don’t use it ever, but I feel kind of weird about it so we haven’t yet, I wish we had our own!

@kvh22 Sorry for the BFN. I wouldn’t say a BFN at 11 dpo is definitive though, especially if your LP is usually 15-16. It’s hard to tell with the triangles but say you implanted on 9dpo when you dipped below CL, it can take a few days for the HCG to get high enough to register even on an FRER, some people have naturally lower HCG so it takes longer to register since it doubles every couple of days based on your baseline.

R/R: I woke up to the most annoying work email that was basically like "upload pics of your 4th of July celebrations (if you aren't working, haha)" like almost implying we should be working, eyeroll. I am doing my 4 hours that I owe from taking Thursday and Friday off even more begrudgingly now.

GTKY: Do you have any plans for the 4th? We watched the hot dog contest earlier and are watching Hamilton tonight, yay! And eating junk food all day, the American way

CS/Q: Nothing exciting, I didn't temp the last two days when I slept in, and my temp today was above CL but barely, they have been low overall this cycle both pre and post O, meh.

@kvh22 I figured out how to add RHR data! (It’s not intuitive. Steps in the spoiler. I have the membership though; not sure if that’s a factor.)

Thanks @chindimples04 for opening my eyes to the existence of this feature; I’ve been charting my RHR in a Google Sheet which is... fun... but unnecessary.

Step 1: go to Settings > Customize Data Entry Form. You will see this screen. Select Add Specifics

Step 2: choose RHR from popular choices

Step 3: choose numeric entry type

Step 4: Add custom data to your favorites for easy entry

Step 5: Enable Chart Duo to show RHR graph

@bows22 you are stronger than me. I don't think I could handle another BFN today. I'm waiting until Wednesday or Thursday to test again if AF doesn't show which is frustrating b/c I have 15-16 day LPs. Hugs.

I have been super emotional today and my boobs hurt. Of course when I get AF, I also get emotional and my boobs hurt, so I may just be getting AF symptoms early. Trying not to over analyze it, but it's so hard!

I teach 2nd grade. I'm going to be math and science next year 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 I can't wait. We used to be self-contained so this is a new adventure for me. I'm hoping it'll make time management easier! What do you teach??

@DoubleUp8 I'm the same way with AF symptoms 😫 I over analyze them. I'm cramping today but I feel like it's still too early for anything. I hate the wait.
