R/R: Interviews went well yesterday! That guy I was worried about was so obviously not a fit that I didn’t need to be concerned. I have no idea what HR was thinking. The position is for our department in general, but one of the candidates unexpectedly has some good experience in the area of our department I’m responsible for, so I went from “I don’t understand why we are hiring someone” to “can we move up the start date?” REALLY fast. There were some emails after and everyone agreed she could be on my team and start whenever she wants and I’m so relieved I could cry. I hope she accepts!
CS/Q:
@bows22 I’m so glad it was an obvious job-fit and that you’ll hopefully get a stellar colleague to help! How exciting!

Testing: well, probably Sunday as thats 6 days before my expected period. I expect it to be a bfn but I have a giant box of cheapies...can’t let them go u to o waste! 😂
R/R: step 1 of the deck project start today! We are tearing up the old boards that need to be replaced so on Tuesday all we have to do is screw in the new ones. This will also give me an idea of if the joists are rotten, so it’s all in all a good thing this happened the way it did. DH was also given a really short route today and should be home by noon! Yayy!
CS/Q: Temp popped back up today!

R/R: DH and I went to Mercedes yesterday to look at the GLB. In terms of luxury/style it’s sexyyy.😍🤩 I loved the way it drove as well. So it’s definitely at the top of my list BUT I’m feeling super torn because it’s a lot smaller overall then the other 3 row SUVs I have looked at. Even though the GLB has a third row option it doesn’t have captains chairs and when the third row is in use there is absolutely zero trunk space. When the seats are down the trunk space is decent but it’s not any bigger then the Cadiliac XT5 that I have now. The second row is really spacious though and fits full grown adults very comfortably. So I have some pros and cons to really consider with this one. The bougie side of me says YAS but the more practical side says go with a bigger more spacious option.
CS/Q: No chart
@bows22 Oh good!!! I’m glad you found someone you like and think will be a good fit. Sorry about the BFN, hopefully it’s just too early still!

R/R: I'm at my in-laws farm. Probably won't be very active on here this weekend.
@chindimples04 nice your deckpdeck is going well and yay for YH getting home early!
@jenotontx sounds like a tough choice! Good luck!
@mighty_montgomery enjoy your weekend away!

R/R: had a lot of fun kayaking this morning then we cooked lunch on the camp fire. I've been really bloaty the past few days. It's strange because we haven't been eating it like we usually do when were in vacation due to COVID-19. I'm still enjoying being at the lake, but it's been annoying.

@bows22 Sorry for the BFN, hope you get a better result tomorrow! I’m so glad you found a great candidate who will hopefully make your job easier!
@chindimples04 Can’t wait to see how the deck turns out. Glad YH will be done early so you can start your weekend early!
@jenotontx I say go practical. I am a year into a three year lease with my RX350 which I think is similar size wise to the GLB and I love how it drives like a car versus a truck but it’s definitely not super spacious, and I will definitely go bigger next time.
@mighty_montgomery Enjoy the farm!
@DoubleUp8 Hope the bloat goes away and you can fully enjoy the lake!

Testing: I told MH I would test Monday morning so he doesn’t have to go do his SA if it is positive lol
R/R: Sorry for being MIA, I ended up not having anything super urgent to do for work yesterday so I decided to take the day off after all and just lazed around and it was amazing! And I have been doing the same so far today, although I do need to do 5 hours for that one project between today and tomorrow to meet my 20 hours/week commitment so I might try to knock out a couple this afternoon. MH wants to wait until tomorrow to watch Hamilton because Saturdays are his “cheat day” and he wants to eat candy during it, lol. Hope everyone is having a lovely holiday weekend!

@chindimples04 your expected period actually has nothing to do with your HCG. They say up to 6 days before your missed period for longer LPs so make sure you're at 10dpo. That's actually the minimum usually and the up to 6 days before is for the longer LPs.
@jenotontx I'm living vicariously through you in your car search!
@mighty_montgomery enjoy the weekend!
@DoubleUp8 jealous of the lake! Have so much fun 🚣♀️

Testing: BFN today but realized that my cheapies expired in Aug of 2018 😬
TW prior pregnancy
Then I started googling accuracy of expired tests and it sounds like they get less and less sensitive AND can give false positives so I don't think I want to use them at all anymore. I went on a run this morning and stopped at Walgreens on my route and picked p a 3 pack of FRERs so I'll be testing with that tmrw.
R/R: I really wish I hadn't tested this morning but the expired cheapies and how early I am is giving me hope (not sure if that's good or bad).
CS/Q: Didn't take my temp this morning so nothing new but I'm on day 4 of cramps which is pissing me off if I'm not KU b/c I'm still super early for AF and do not EVER get more than one day of cramps before she shows🙄
Edited b/c I accidentally did code instead of spoiler on mobile and had to go on desktop to fix it.
@kvh22 good luck testing tomorrow morning!
@jenotontx I'm sorry your missing out on Michigan! We are very lucky my parents quarantined a block away from us, so we treated ourselves as one household. The lake house is a family place, so we probably wouldn't have come otherwise.

@jenotontx I am too practical so I will be no help to you 😂. Have you driven the highlander yet?
@mighty_montgomery have fun with the in-laws!
@DoubleUp8 hope the bloat is for a good reason! Campfire lunch sounds awesome btw!
@legallykate I tested on the morning of MH’s SA too for the same reason! I hope yours doesn’t have to go! Glad you got to relax some! Even though I was sick on Monday laying around doing nothing for most of the day was still glorious so I am sure you had an amazing day off!
