Trying to Get Pregnant

    CD/DPO: 26/8

    Timing: -3,-1,O

    Typical LP length: 12

Testing: No interest but probably Friday

R/R: 🥱 having trouble getting motivated today but I need to! I have my week planned and I think I’ll need to do a 1/2 day on Friday to get everything done I needed to this week. However, I’m supposed to do 3 hours of interviews tomorrow morning and I emailed our COO about my stomach bug to see if he still wanted me to come in to do them. He said he had to think about it. I’d like to do them because I have pretty strong feelings based on the resumes but if he tells me to stay home, being able to be off on Friday will be a great silver lining!

@bows22 I vote for taking Friday off! Feeling you on the lack of motivation today but hoping if I do a lot today and tomorrow I can still salvage my 3 day weekend!

    Month/Cycle: 7/7

    CD/DPO: 21/5

    Timing: -3, -2, -1, O, +1

    Typical LP length: 9-10

Testing: Next Tuesday (11dpo) if AF hasn't shown

R/R: I have had the most annoying tech issues yesterday and today, I may or may not have cried actual tears yesterday because my printer's scan function wasn't working and I had to scan a signed document to one of our paralegals, and I ended up spending almost an hour on the phone with IT and still no luck. Now today the sound on my laptop just randomly doesn't work. I think my hardware needs a break as badly as I do, lol. But it's Wednesday at least!

CS/Q: Last night MH decided he wanted to try making our room cooler because he hasn't been sleeping well. You know you're TTGP when you like a colder room but protest because you are worried it will mess up your temps  :D  I decided to sleep in a slightly warmer shirt and it did not seem to have an impact.

@bows22 Oo that's a tough one. Are there no phone interview options? You could even call the room they're in at your offices.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 26/8

    Timing: -4, -1, +1

    Typical LP length: 14-16 days

Testing: I had some cramps yesterday evening so I'm SS and will probably test Friday since it's July 4th and 11DPO to know about drinking if these cramps keep up but there's no AF. Could be a LP defect with the hormones I have going on

R/R: I had avoided looking up when a due date would be for this cycle given O at CD19 (I actually figured it'd be later which is why I didn't look it up at the beginning of my cycle, just knew it'd be mid March at the earliest). I was trying to be casual about this cycle but I looked it up and am now all in and making plans in my head and NOT casual🙄

CS/Q: I realized my Fitbit tracks my RHR so I spent way too much time in bed last night before reading and falling asleep figuring out how to enter it but I think I have to have VIP in FF to do chart duo. Now I'm trying to figure out when RHR goes up/down if you're pregnant or about to get AF 😂

  • @bows22 I second calling in to assist with the interviews, especially if you have strong opinions!
@legallykate tech issues are my least favorite issues!
@kvh22 ditto on the due date look up. I checked to make sure I could take full 12 week mat leave before the school year ended, which I can. I’m all in, too! 🤣

    Month/Cycle: 2/1

    CD/DPO: CD 22/5 DPO

    Timing: -2, -1, +1

    Typical LP length: 13-16

    Testing: 7/6 since I’ll be 10 dpo

R/R: I am getting the wood for our deck today as my parents, my ILs and I will be ripping out and reinstalling on Friday! Our current one is in terrible condition m. The house never had gutters on the back so for 5 years water just pour onto the boards rotting them and leaving massive holes. Only a few more projects to do before I’d be ready to sell this place!

CS/Q: little temp dip this morning but nothing crazy. Is it normal to dip some? I was terrible at temping last time.

lurking here.  unsure if you have an iphone, but if so, you can scan from your phone's camera to PDF (for next time).  in the notes app, hit the camera icon at the bottom and then "scan documents".  you can scan page by page and then email the same way you would a photo. won't help with the computer issues, but at least you can scan in a pinch!
  • bows22bows22 member
@legallykate oh that sounds so frustrating! How many pages was it? I’ve pretty much converted to only using my iPhone for scanning documents. It’s so much easier and faster than the one on my home printer

@kvh22 our COO is coordinating our covid response and also coordinating these interviews so I’m happy to leave this decision up to him! I’d definitely be willing to be on the phone if that’s what he decides. Looks like we are testing buddies, although maybe you meant Saturday since that’s the 4th. Either way I hope we both get good news this weekend!
  • kvh22kvh22 member
@legallykate ugh sorry for the technical issues. My husband's work computer has been acting up lately and he gets SOOO mad. I empathize so much with how debilitating it feels. And I have an Android but coworkers were talking about what @asf0613 mentioned just recently when someone needed to scan something for us all to see.

@bows22 oh crap. Drinking will still probably happen on Friday but it's only 10DPO so idk. 3 days of cramps with no AF might warrant it but it'd probably be a squinter 🤔

    Took forever to post

@chindimples04 I will definitely do that if he asks me! I just think he may find someone else to do it instead. There’s a group of us that interview for our department. That’s so exciting about the deck! And yes totally normal to dip, don’t give that temp a second thought
  • @bows22 I really hope you can be off on Friday!!

@legallykate ughh I hate tech issues. Sorry that your computer is messing with you!

@kvh22 I’ve started telling MH that “self-destruction is my favorite pastime” - I look up an EDD every month and there is absolutely nothing I can do to stop myself! It’s the worst! Very soul-crushing

@chindimples04 completely normal for temps to fluctuate a little bit! Good luck with the deck!

    Month/Cycle: 7/7

    CD/DPO: 37/11-13

    Timing: good

Typical LP length: on progesterone so at least 14

Testing: BFN today, probably will try again Friday

R/R: I was so excited that my temp went back up a little this morning, only to have a BFN snack me in the face. Ugh. Holding out the tiniest bit of hope that I may only be 11dpo and going to test again on Friday. The only thing that made it a little easier to swallow was that I had my virtual consult with the fertility practice near me this morning. The RE said once I get my period we can move forward with a whole bunch of testing for next cycle. So I’m glad even if this month ends up being a total dud that we can at least move forward. DH is super sad which is hard.

@runningoncookies I'm sorry about the negative. Fingers crossed you're only 11DPO instead and that there's still hope but glad that you had your consult and can move forward if this isn't your cycle.

@chindimples04 yea, temps definitely fluctuate during the TWW, just should stay above the coverline.

@bows22 fingers crossed for Friday off!

@legallykate I'm sorry you had tech problems yesterday. Those can be so frustrating!

@kvh22 same! I'm such a planner I can't help planning for a potential due date. I have been the same googling CM and cervix position AF vs KU. Now I'm going to be looking at RHR on my Fitbit too! The down side of being on a week long vacation during the TWW, lots of down time to think/day dream.

@chindimples04 have fun replacing your deck. I love a good house project!

@runningoncookies sorry for the BFN. ☹️

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

CD/DPO: 19/6 (or 19/4 based on CM and cervix position)

    Timing: -5, -2, +1 or -5, -1

    Typical LP length: 12-14 days

Testing: 7/8 if there are no signs of AF

R/R: finally slept through the night last night. I don't know what's been up with me, but for the three nights prior I was up for at least an hour and just could not get comfortable or get back to sleep which is totally unlike me. still feeling tired, but hopefully a few more nights good rest and I will feel back to normal.

@kvh22 I also calculated my due date after my positive opk last month! It's fun to wonder, plan, and hope. I set up a private registry online for my future little. I hope we get our BFPs soon. ❤

@runningoncookies ugh, I’m so sorry for the BFN! I’m glad you are moving forward with testing (but hopefully you are earlier in your cycle than your thought and won’t need it!

@DoubleUp8 sleep is everything! I hope whatever was happening is over and you start sleeping better now.

@mi@mighty_montgomery LOL at your “testing” comment. I hope things start moving soon!

  • @bows22 Have you gotten an answer about work later this week yet? Hopefully you can pull a 3 day weekend and recoup!
@legallykate I'm sorry about all the random tech issues! Why does technology have to absolutely hate us when we rely on it to do so much right now? Sending love (and good tech vibes)!
@kvh22 I tried the whole avoiding looking up due dates thing for a solid three weeks when we first started TTC this time around. Now I have a chart that has rough estimates for EDDs for the full year (that I update monthly depending on when AF shows). It's a thing. So is symptom spotting. Might be crazy but hey, it gives me something to do in the TWW.
@chindimples04 Hooray for a new deck! That's exciting! Hopefully the project doesn't take long and goes well! It's definitely not abnormal for temps to fluctuate a bit in the TWW. Don't stress about the slight dip.
@runningoncookies Sorry about the BFN. FX for better news in a couple days!! Take care of yourself today! I'm glad your consult gave you some hope.
@DoubleUp8 glad you are finally getting some rest!
@mighty_montgomery I also laughed about your testing comment. So true for my cycle as well. Hang in there!

@ashaislurking NO you are not still here. WTF? I want to see your chart! What can possibly be happening?

So as an update to my work situation, the short answer is that the COO emailed me today and said as long as I feel healthy I can go in. The long story is that I got some of the details of his discussions with the partners and it’s just a cop out because no one knows how to handle covid. I guess he was actually supposed to say that it’s my call as to whether I feel it is safe because they “trust my judgment”, which makes no sense to me, but he didn’t say that so whatever!
  • @kvh22 I look up the EDD every CD1, I have no ability to be casual about TTC (or anything really). I think RHR is generally higher in the LP like temp is so I think it happens either KO or not like so many other progesterone symptoms unfortunately :( Or at least that’s one of the things that the Ava bracelet always uses to confirm O. So I wouldn’t waste the money on VIP just for that (but I do have VIP – because again, not capable of casual – so take that with a grain of salt haha).

@chindimples04 Your deck project sounds great, I want to see before and afters! I would say that dip is totally normal and nothing to fret about, your temps are still trending in the right direction.

@asf0613 @bows22 Yes our IT people had me download a scanning program onto my phone as a workaround! I had no idea that was a thing, I feel like a luddite.

@runningoncookies Sorry about the BFN and that YH is sad too :( FX O was later than you thought or worst case the RE gives you some answers soon.

@DoubleUp8 Glad you finally got some good sleep and hope that stays the case~

@might_montgomery Lol at “my patience.” Hope AF shows up soon so you can move on.

@ashaislurking Gahhhh. That is really all I’ve got. I hope you can move on soon.

@ashaislurking I hope that temp drop means you can move on from this cycle! Nuts! FF must be so confused since temps have just been sort of trending upwards vs a very distinct uptick. What happens if you remove those other 2 temp dips on CD 26 and 29?

@ashaislurking the only thing that REMOTELY makes sense (and being very liberal with that word) is O on CD 23 followed by a hell of a fallback rise. It doesn’t *really* make sense but it does make your LP in the right range assuming that drop means the end is in sight. What a crazy cycle. I’m sorry you had to go through this rollercoaster
  • @bows22 I don't even know at this point. I test with OPKs throughout my cycle (pretty sure I noted this yesterday too) and my only positive was on CD14. O on CD 26 or 29 have also been proposed. Still wouldn't explain the positive OPK or my CD15 mid cycle spotting but who the hell knows at this point. I honestly just hope it'll be over soon without needing to see my ObGyn for extra testing and provera.

@legallykate yea, everything I said saw it was higher in the LP normally but then would say it continues to get higher. I wasn't sure if that could be before AF or if it takes quite a while. And does it drop right before AF like your temp? These are the things I need to look up (likely tonight) b/c it doesn't seem readily available in what I've found so far.

@ashaislurking I forget, did you show your chart to your OB? Did she have any hypotheses or is the solution lab work (which I suppose makes sense)?

@mighty_montgomery lol at testing your patience. So confusing.

    I'm here late today!

@ashaislurking sorry you are still here!! Even FF is like WTF. Hoping today's temp drop means cd1 is coming and you can leave this cycle behind.

@bows22 will you all be wearing masks during the interview? Personally I'd feel comfortable going in if everyone was masked, but it's got to be so strange doing an interview with your face covered- so much is conveyed through expression.

@legallykate ugh about the tech issues! I'm the same way re: temps when we change anything about our sleeping environment.

@runningoncookies so sorry for the BFN and sad DH. Glad you can find a positive re: new cycle and bloodwork. My RE appt is next week when I'm going to probably be CD 5-7 and I'm a little bummed I'll just miss the window for BW (I think at least).

@DoubleUp8 glad you got some good sleep! It makes such a huge difference!

@mighty_montgomery no flames for your question! I learned a bit too from that discussion!

@kvh22 I used to do the same thing with EDDs, now I just think about months. My RHR goes up quite a bit during the TWW and goes down again after CD1, doesn't seem to make any significant indication. I wouldn't read too much into it during TWW. That being said, I like watching how it changes during my cycle! Our bodies are amazing. Mine fluctuates by about 11 bpm and is highest a few days before CD1. Starts dropping at CD1, and then Cd4/5- 13/15 is at my lowest BPM before it starts rising again
    **TW** Preg/loss
For both TWW of my losses this go around my RHR was identical to my non-preg cycles, the only difference is it continued going up a few days after AF was due. By then I already had positive HPTs
  • Month/Cycle: 15/12

    CD/DPO: 25/12

    Timing: -3, -2

    Typical LP length: 11-13

    Testing: yesterday BFN, didn't today

R/R: didn't get to temp today and have been up since 4 not by choice so a bit grumpy lol. Super crampy today so thinking cd1 is tomorrow. I'm planning a beach day tomorrow so if AF hasn't come by the morning I am going to be super paranoid! Might not be on tomorrow bc hoping to get an early start. I'm excited though bc I haven't been to the beach in a few years!

    CS/Q: nothing new to see

  • @kvh22 if AF doesn't show by next Monday, they'll do labs. Otherwise we're just kind of hanging out for now. If my cycles go back to normal we'll just maintain until I hit cycle 12 (if it comes to that) and assume this was a weird fluke cycle. If my cycle doesn't return to normal we'll do hormone panels and see where things are at.
@_orchid_ I really hope AF shows soon (as odd as that sounds) just so I can finally be done with this cycle (and hope it never happens again). We'll see. Sorry for the crampiness you're having! Hopefully AF either shows tomorrow AM so you can have a relaxing day at the beach without being paranoid or she stays away for a couple more days!

@_orchid_ I just saw this tab still open and realized I never sent it yesterday! Sorry about the impeding AF (although hopefully the BFN was a fluke at 11dpo?). I tried to search if you'd posted in TWW or WTO so hopefully I didn't miss anything. Thank you for the info on RHR. That's super helpful and I was able to just relax last night knowing that it's interesting but not going to be an additional data point for pregnant/not pregnant - more just confirming O in future cycles with BBT.
