Rant/Rave: Rave: We have a good list of houses to go see this weekend so looking forward to that Rant: I cannot sleep and it is miserable. Even taking benadryl I toss and turn and I am up and down (peeing every couple hours) all night.
GTKY: What is your favorite dessert/sweet treat? Creme brulee and cheesecake are my top two!!
Baby is the size of: Endive (TB has a picture of radicchio, which I think is hilarious) or a My Little Pony or a Trenta from Starbucks (lol)
Upcoming Appointments: 8/24 OB
Rant/Rave: We went to look at houses again this weekend and really almost pulled the trigger on one (but didn't because of it's location on a busy road and proximity to a wastewater treatment plant that we were initially unaware of). Glad we didn't make the offer, because we were able to reassess our finances (based on the fact that I was laid off due to COVID) and figure out a more concrete plan and timetable. Our plan, for now, is to keep our eyes open in the areas we are interested for something that seems perfect; however, we aren't going to go out and view a billion properties quite yet. We are planning on waiting until baby comes and we adjust to becoming parents and then we will list our apartment in early 2021 and start looking more aggressively, then. Of course, if we find the house before then - we will accelerate our timeline, but it does feel good to have a specific plan.
GTKY: What is your favorite dessert/sweet treat? Chocolate chip cookies and also ice cream. I have a bad sweet tooth and so does DH!
Upcoming Appointments: Later July (have to consult the calendar/I forget when)...honestly Im expecting it to be a oh your back hurts and you’re tired. Yup sounds like you’re pregnant. Talk next time-type phone call. 😤
Rant/Rave: Rant. I swear I forget how pregnancy goes each time. I am exhausted. My back hurts. And I generally can’t sleep. Rave...it is simply the best to talk to baby girl and feel her in there. Definitely the best thing ever.
GTKY: What is your favorite dessert/sweet treat? Anything sweet? Hence why nothing in the house is sugary. I just eat it all. But my favorite best dessert ever is definitely a simple vanilla creme brûlée.
Upcoming Appointments: Had my fetal echo yesterday and Baby Girl was not cooperating. I need to go back in 2 weeks. But I did find out that she already weighs 1lb2oz and is measuring slightly ahead. She apparently has super long legs too that were measuring 23w2d, which explains all the kicking lol. I have a follow-up OB appointment on 7/6 and then take 2 for the echo on 7/13.
Rant/Rave: We may have sold our house without ever listing it. I am hoping that I hear something about it today because it will save me the stress of getting this house "picture ready" by Monday ugh!
GTKY: What is your favorite dessert/sweet treat? Oh dear I love alll the sweets and desserts, it is terrible. And pregnancy is about the only time I allow myself to really indulge lol. Creme brulee, rice pudding, cupcakes, soft serve ice cream. I mean the options are endless LOL.
Upcoming appointments: July 7 for another scan to measure baby as baby was uncooperative during the AS last month. Then OB visit 7/28
Rant/Rave: Went shopping the last two days and was finally able to try on clothes and purchase some shorts that actually fit as it keeps getting warmer!
GTKY: What is your favorite dessert/sweet treat? Creme brûlée!!!
Upcoming Appointments: phone appt yesterday, in person next week
Rave: I love feeling so much movement! I knew last time that with an AP I felt a lot less movement, but now I know how much I was missing. It's incredible! Rant: I'm so conflicted about going back to work in the fall. I'd only be in the classroom super part-time, but teenagers don't give af about covid and are just doing whatever they want and are a big part of community spread here. We're in a social bubble with my parents and I am afraid of bringing covid home to them. I hate the uncertainty of what the right choice is.
GTKY: What is your favorite dessert/sweet treat? Oh man. Cinnamon rolls, chocolate icebox pie, old fashioned doughnuts, tapioca pudding.... so many! I made key lime pie yesterday and it was sooooooo good!

@bserena I've been trying hard to stay hydrated, but I'm peeing 2-3x a night and it sucks! @laurenmicheley I got a good laugh out of the radicchio picture as well! It must feel good for you to have a plan in place for buying a house. I think I'm making chocolate chip cookies today! @name1109 Sorry your back is hurting so much. Is there anything you've found from previous pregnancies that helps? Chiropractor or exercises or stretching or a support band? @jaclyn0405 FX the deal goes through! I'd hate to have to get my house ready for pictures/showing. @jzajac06 Mmmmmm, creme brulee! MH is lactose intolerant so I hardly ever get creamy desserts anymore and that sounds sooooo good!

@hedgepig they are sending an offer by the weekend! So I have put staging on the back burner. And if it doesn't work out, I will just ramp back up and ask our agent for a couple more days before listing LOL.
