I met my goal to workout 5 days this week but I need to buckle down on my eating. I went off the rails hard and got take out for lunch pretty much every day. DH is at Culver’s right now grabbing us something. Soo that’s my goal for next week. Lunches only at home!
I've been really good about exercising 7 days a week for most of the pregnancy. But last Saturday, we went on a 6 mile exhausting (and difficult!) hike. So I took 2 days off after bc I was too sore. I'm not usually a fitness junkie, but right when quarantine hit, I decided I needed to start my day with exercise to help stay sane, since I really hardly ever get out for a walk. I live in NYC, so was used to walking for exercise before this.
I also started doing kegels about a week ago. Still not sure I'm doing them right, bc I squeeze my buttocks and stomach when I try to find the right muscle, and the guides are telling me I shouldn't be doing that. But oh well. Hard to isolate the right muscles so far.
I only worked out 3 times last week. So far I’ve done it twice this week so I’m on a better track. My nutrition is off the rails though, I am up 8lbs 😩 and I was already up a COVID 8 before that. I’m trying to make really good choices this week to slow that down.
