    Month/Cycle: 37 months (dammit)

    CD: 6

WAYDTGKU: HIO EOD with Conceive+ and menstrual cup after, temping, OPKs, PNV, vitamin D & E, DHA

R/R: we might start our EOD tomorrow cuz it's our anniversary tomorrow!! My MIL randomly called asking if she could drop something off last night. Turns out it was a remake of our cake! Her friend bakes at a country club and had made our wedding cake for us as a wedding gift. They promised to remake it so we could have a fresh cake for the "eat your wedding cake on your 1 year anniversary" tradition. Well, that never happened cuz it's our 4th year anniversary tomorrow :D

  • @inthewoods23 aww happy early anniversary!  love the original and the remake of the cake!
  • @asf0613 great attitude! I hope today is even more productive than the day before.

@inthewoods23 37 is an odd number; maybe its uniqueness will bring you ttc success FX. That cake is a beauty! Enjoy and happy anniversary.

    Month/Cycle: 6/6

    CD: 4

WAYDTGKU: HIO during fertile period, temping with Tempdrop, OPKs, CM, seed cycling, prenatal vits, myo-inositol/ d-chiro-inositol (for PCOS), COQ10, Proov testing, and starting progesterone supplementation in LP this month.

R/R: I've gained like 4 pounds in the last month and I'm not sure why. I've started baking sourdough bread but only do that every other week and only 2 loafs for DH and I. I don't like it! Gonna monitor the situation this coming month to see what's up.

DH has been working really hard as he's got a deliverable that's due (literally) yesterday. This is jeopardizing our departure for our beach get-away tomorrow. FX that he and his team get it done.

    CS/Q: Nothing interesting yet.

I'll likely stop posting to the dailies until closer to O but will check in here to see how things are going for everyone.

@asf0613 hope your able to have a productive day! I can’t believe it’s already July!

@inthewoods23 that was sweet of mil! Happy anniversary! Our cakes from our weddings look similar! Are those geese?

@acleverusername mmm I bet the bread is good! Fx that it’s just water weight! Hope your trip doesn’t get cancelled!

    Month/Cycle: 13/12/5 al

    CD: 8

WAYDTGKU: BBT, opks, smep I guess. Coq10, alpha lipoic acid, baby aspirin, pnv.

R/R: I got my rings back again yesterday. And they fixed the stone center issue but now the prongs are a tiny bit loose. 🙄 it’s okay for now. But I’m just going to wait until our local jeweler opens back up to have them fix the prongs. I’m sick of dealing with the other. TW, pregnancy, loss:  my close friend sent me a “save the date” text for her baby shower in august, and a Pinterest board with baby shower stuff. And I just.. cannot. I’m obviously happy for my friend. For some reason her pregnancy hurts my heart so much. Her shower is supposed to be a week before my would be due date.. I’ve never missed an event for this friend, but I don’t know if I can make it this go around. END TW. any advice is welcome.

    CS/Q: not very exciting yet.

@asf0613 I'm glad the days are flying by for you!
@inthewoods23 better late than never! Happy anniversary! And both those cakes look amazing!
@acleverusername I ordered the Proov tests! Hoping to have some insight. I hope YH's due date doesn't delay your beach get-away. Otherwise leave without him and have him meet you later.

    Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD: 2

WAYDTGKU: bleeding and CD 3 blood work tomorrow

R/R: I'm glad to be getting the ball rolling on some diagnostics but it was such a PITA to try to figure out what my insurance would cover and how much it will cost. After I think 4 phone calls, two messages with my Dr and an hour and a half on the phone, I still don't know how much it will cost but I do not that because we have a high deductible plan the diagnostics are 80% covered after my deductible has been met which I'm only about $1500 away from meeting. IF is covered 80% after the deductible has been met after 12 months of trying. We started trying in December so if we need to go that route it could be interesting with timing the 12 months and the deductible. I hate insurance. Thank you for coming to my TED talk. I'm also nervous that either they will find nothing abnormal or they will find something really catastrophic. I hope there is something diagnosible but with a simple fix  :D

    CS/Q: nothing exciting

  • @asf0613 there's mint buttercream frosting in the middle too  :) that was a little surprise for me when we did the cake cutting part

@acleverusername success this month would be nice! DH's birthday is at the end of the month and AF is due a few days prior so that would be one heck of a birthday gift for him

@photographerwife yes those are geese! We used to call each other silly geese early on in our relationship. DH started it, I don't actually remember why lol. Found those cake toppers on Etsy!

@krash_ yeah I had a weird thing going on with our insurance too that I didn't bring up until after the first FET. I wanted to get the ER on the payment plan (cuz nobody wants to shell out $10k+ in 1 sitting). Turns out my insurance didn't like how they had coded the ER. But wtf else would you code an ER other than infertility?? So stupid... so we only just this year started paying it off. Lame. Isn't there a law now that you have to provide prices so that people can figure out how much they may need to pay?

BTW - this was the pic we showed for the inspiration for our cake. It's kind of a funny story. My MIL's friend took the name that was in the magazine where I first found this and actually called them to ask how they did the wood grain effect. They wouldn't say exactly how, but gave MIL's friend enough info to do something similar.

  • @krash_ Insurance totally sucks. Makes healthcare so damn complicated when it doesn't need to be.

@photographerwife So annoying about the jeweler, I would just go back to your local one too. I have a close friend's shower in August too - I think it's reasonable if you need to skip it. It doesn't mean you're not happy for her.

@acleverusername Hope your DH is able to finish the project and that you guys get to leave on time for your getaway!!

@inthewoods23 Very cute cake!! So nice for your anniversary. Happy early anniversary!

@asf0613 Happy July to you too! Glad you're getting things done and feeling productive :)

    Month/Cycle: 3/2

    CD: 24

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, all the vitamins and supplements, preseed, Mira (and OPKs out of curiosity to see how similar they are), and just purchased Proov thanks to rec here

R/R: I ordered Proov yesterday and it should be coming in a few days. Not sure if I'll even get to use it this cycle since I have NO signs of ovulation yet. Nothing to do at this point but wait, I guess. Wednesdays and Thursdays are relatively easier clinic days for me, and with Friday off I'm excited for the long weekend! Will get to see some of MH's family which I've been dying to do, though of course I wish it didn't have to be with masks and distance. I'm getting irritated with everyone wandering around without masks on - can you not see the drastic rise in cases?!

CS/Q: my whole cycle is one big question.

  • @asf0613 send me some of that productive energy! I've been feeling crappy the past few days (PMS/AF, no doubt) and I've done nothing but lay around. Gotta get back after it! But I agree that time is going by quickly in general.

@inthewoods23 happy (early) anniversary! Those cakes look and sound delicious, and the geese are such a cute touch. Our wedding cake was so generic in comparison, just white frosting and roses... I guess the taste is what really matters though!

@acleverusername I definitely misread your post at first and took "I don't like it!" to be referring to the sourdough bread, not the weight gain... I was like, "Why do you keep making it then!?" Haha. That's annoying though, hopefully just a random fluctuation that will work itself out.

@photographerwife aww, I'm so sorry about your sadness surrounding your friend's baby shower. Does she know about your loss? Either way, if she's a good friend I'm sure she'll understand if you're not up for it... or you could always "come down with something" right before the shower, that's an especially potent excuse these days!

@krash_ ugh, insurance stuff is such a pain, that's exactly the kind of thing I have no patience for figuring out. Definitely crossing my fingers for you that it ends up being a concrete issue with an easy fix!

@priyadoc same, I'm so annoyed at people not wearing masks! I don't understand how such a simple thing has become so politicized. My state has done a good job of keeping our numbers steady/decreasing so far, but we're just entering a new phase of reopening and I'm terrified a big spike is coming.

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD: 2

    WAYDTGKU: temping, OPKs, PNVs

R/R: Finally back, after a crazy long (for me) 50-day cycle last time around. I have a few ideas what might have caused delayed ovulation, but with so much variation lately (my last three cycles were 50, 32, and 41 days, respectively) I'm definitely going to bring this up to my OBGYN when I go in for my annual check-up later this month. So I'm frustrated to be all over the place with that, but hopeful that things get back to "normal" this cycle!

  • @the_most_happy we very much had a woods/nature theme to our wedding. Lots of green and trees :) hope you get your cycles back on track! Have your cycles always been on the long side like that or erratic in length?

  • @acleverusername honestly, you don't need that negative energy from the scale.  make all the bread! and enjoy it!  hope your plans for tomorrow can stay as-is and that you have a great time!
@photographerwife i'm personally annoyed about your ring's prongs.  hopefully you can bring to your normal jeweler soon because loose prongs will make you constantly worry!
@krash_ hoping for easy diagnosis and quick/affordable fix for you friend! but good that the ball is now rolling!
@priyadoc i got my kit within a week, so hopefully yours comes quickly!  and that your cycles allw you to find a clear testing point!
@the_most_happy **productive vibes your way** i've already weeded the garden and then started weeding the yard!  now i have some furniture to rearrange, need to wash my hair and then head to work at 2pm! hopefully your obgyn can give you some insight into your cycles!  i go next week and will be hoping for the same

@photographerwife I’m sorry her pregnancy and shower are hitting so hard. If she’s a close friend I would just explain why you’re hurting and hopefully she will be a little more considerate with her pregnancy talk. It’s ok to feel happy for someone else but also sad for you and you’ve got to take care of you first.  <3
@priyadoc sorry for your uncertain cycle. That would be incredibly frustrating.
@the_most_happy i hope your OB has some insights into your long cycles. Delayed ovulation is so frustrating and unknown.

WAYDTGKU: BBT, ovulation kits, and my OB told me to get on a 3x a week BD schedule to alleviate some of the pressure I put on my husband during ovulation week, but I’ve been lazy and haven’t sat down and made a schedule with him *TW* I am still waiting on my body to get back to normal after a m/c, so I’m not rushing the schedule this month

R/R: I went running for the first time since March this morning, which was wonderful and awful all at the same time, we are also hatching baby chicks this week and they are ADORABLE!

    CS/Q: nada

@asf0613 I am jealous of your productivity - I had one big deadline at work this week and now that it’s done I have approximately zero motivation or energy to do anything productive

@intothewoods23 happy anniversary!  Now I’m hungry for cake

@photographerwife I’m sorry - I understand how hard that is. *TW I had one of my best friends call me this weekend to tell me she was 16 weeks pregnant when I was 1 week post-miscarriage, and the last time I had a miscarriage I was visiting her from out of town, and she had also told me she was 16 weeks pregnant at the time. It was complete deja-vu. So happy for her, but crappy timing to get that news. If it’s too much for you, don’t go, and tell her why - if she’s a good friend she will understand and be supportive.

    WAYDTGKU: OPK after my period

R/R: my cycle was super short this past month, 17 days.  It’s anywhere from 17-25 days and I can’t seem to figure out my ovulation.  I made an appointment with my gyn PA for next week since I’m 37 and not getting any younger.

Oh man, I had to post and ghost yesterday as Wednesday’s are BRUTAL meeting days for me. I see I missed lots of stuff and new folks!

@krash_ let me know what you think of Proov. It was a game changer for me. I also had my Day 3 labs this week.

@inthewoods23 I actually wanted to say 37 is a prime number which is way more unique than an odd number, but my wishes for you hold steady. FX for a lovely bday gift for YH.

@photographerwife what in the actual <swear word> re: your rings?! Sounds like it’s best to hold off until your jeweller reopens. I am sorry about your friend’s shower. I agree with others: if she’s a good friend, she will understand.

@priyadoc yay for Proov. It might be too late for you for this cycle. Def a red flag for PCOS. I have it too and it’s got so many ways to present itself. I just picked up a really good book on it (recommended in the Proov FB community): 8 steps to reverse your PCOS.

@the_most_happy LOL! The bread is freaking delicious and I absolutely want to continue making it. Btw, your cycle variability also red flag for PCOS. I have it too and been reading a lot about it and Google doesn’t do justice to “typical symptoms”. Symptoms vary a whole lot.

    @BuckeyeNut05 I can’t @ you for some reason! 😭 cute chicks though!

@slord33 short cycles like that are also a PCOS red flag! I hope your Gyn PA suggests that and can test for it.
