TwatWaffle Tuesday 6.30

Who in your life is being a twatwaffle? (This word makes me laugh every time I type it).

  • @laurenmicheley oh man, I can relate! So frustrating. We are looking at homes right now and saw one we really like last night. I sent it to my mom and said "we really loved this house/area" and she responds "Ok. You should keep looking though."
  • @bserena I'm not trying to jump the gun on this. All I need is to be closing on a sale and purchase and packing while 9 months pregnant. If we find the right place, we'll do it - but our intention is to wait until baby comes so we can adjust and then start seriously looking.
  • @bserena your professor sounds really annoying! He should have had everything you would need for the course figured out before the course started rather than making stuff up as you go along. That really stinks that you ended up paying for the course and then he changes his mind!
  • Ugh @bserena that is ridiculous! And there you are trying NOT to procrastinate and you somehow get screwed.  Sorry love!

And @laurenmicheley it was SO hard for me to leave living in the city and I still miss it.  So I totally agree that politics aside, you just need to take your time and make the best decision for your family!

@bserenathat sucks and I can't believe that professor wasn't prepared or at least when he added it didn't research the cost. Have you emailed the company to see if they will give you a refund?

My twatwaffle is the bump app. I couldn't love things or comment for over a week. Annoying.
  • @kelk5 Yess!!
I had the same issue. This app really does stink.

Ok, maybe I'm dense for asking but what kind of health problems would come from wearing a mask? Seems a lot safer than walking around mask free with others who obviously don't think corona is a big deal and most likely don't take any precautions, hence the reason masks are mandated in some areas and health professionals highly recommend!
  • I feel like wearing a mask is the least I can do to help protect myself and others. Soo not a big deal.
@auburnvelvet86 I agree, and I wonder how much of it comes from not wanting to say “vaginal” lol. I’ve called my c section “unnatural” just to point out how silly it sounds.

I literally had my oxygen assessed yesterday (as part of a check-up with the pulmonologist) WITH my mask on and had 100% saturation. People are so ridiculous, it's insane!
