  • @auburnvelvet86 I make no egg cookie dough bites for different holidays(...and maybe tuesdays 🤷🏻‍♀️) but they are fantastic! It’s just butter, flour, brown sugar, vanilla and mini chocolate chips. 😋

@mia80 a local ice cream shop has mint moose tracks and it is hands down the best ice cream I have ever had!
  • Estimated due date (EDD): Nov 12

    Week of pregnancy: 21w tomorrow

Baby is the size of: Cantaloupe 😱

Upcoming Appointments: Next Tues for anatomy scan

Rant/Rave: I have already started getting BH in the evening. 😩 I don’t remember ever getting them before the 3rd trimester with my previous pregnancies. They can get quite intense and frequent too, it actually scared me on Saturday night and I went to L&D to make sure it wasn’t preterm labor. I had about 20 in a 2 hour period! They think it might be from going back to work recently after mostly sitting at home for 3 months. They make me nervous and I don’t like them. They never bothered me when I was having them with full-term babies but this just seems so early. Hopefully it is just my body adjusting to being on my feet all day again and they will settle down.

GTKY: What is your favorite dessert/sweet treat? Chocolate cheesecake! 🤤 I’m typically not much of a sweets person but right now give me ALLLLL the desserts

@kelk5 I’m right there with you with the contractions...I HATE them!! They make me so nervous.
  • @mia80 it is mint ice cream with thick fudge ‘walls’ as I call them because they are so much more than swirls and chunks. Then they add mini mint cream filled chocolate cups. I am convinced, it will be served in Heaven. 🙌🏻😂
  • @kelk5 That sounds amazing! I once found a food truck parked outside a local brewery DH and I were at that served cookie dough as their main thing, all types and flavors. But like all great food trucks, it then disappeared into the night and I've never been able to find it again. :(

I’m so scared to try cookie dough without eggs. I’ve tried one recipe on Pinterest and I hated it! If you have a good one @1MommyRunner PLEASE share!
Now that I just read all the replies about desserts, don’t mind me as I dive into some ice cream at 4 in the evening 😂 should I be afraid of GD???
BH is scary. I didn’t know that’s what it was but I guess it can be common? I am hopeful it will mean a quick labor when it reaches that time!

@kitkatz1990 it's the worst! Do your contractions ever stop?  I just want them to stop, even for a few hours 🤞
  • @kelk5 they are on and off all the time, but I do get breaks from them. I seem to get them
mostly when I’m sitting down, which is so frustrating because I’m on my feet all day and it’s like as soon as I try to sit down and rest I get them.

@kitkatz1990 oh no, that's awful that they're happening when you sit down. Mine are regardless of what I'm doing but they usually are lighter when I'm sitting/laying down.
  • @kelk5 I hope they ease up for both of us!
  • Estimated due date (EDD): 11/9

Week of pregnancy: 21 +2 days

Baby is the size of: Endive

Upcoming Appointments: End of July with a new Dr. midwife at the office.

Rant/Rave: @lovelee3 same! I'm thinking of doing 1/2 virtual & 1/2 in-person. We have family out of state and older family members in state who may not attend an in-person event. I virtually attended a bridal shower last month and I enjoyed watching from my house and I usually hate showers!

GTKY: What is your favorite dessert/sweet treat? I love all sweets but I've been obsessed with Oreo's with milk and Capt'n Crunch with Berries right now. And I found Christmas cookies in my freezer last week....score!!

@lovelee3 @mwagensomer I'm trying to decide what to do for a baby shower too. I'd always kinda planned to do one when baby was here so everyone could meet him, but with covid I don't know if I want a lot of people around nugget. And even beforehand I don't want that many people around!! Might just skip the whole thing...

For baby showers, my cousin did several different virtual baby showers. They kept it to groups who knew each other so that everyone was comfortable talking and most people mailed gifts ahead of time. DH's friend did a drive-by baby shower where people pulled up 6-10 feet from the couple and visited for 5-10 mins each. I think they had a family member collect any gifts that were brought. We are not planning to do one but DH's co-workers may do a virtual one at work.
