Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.

Questions? Has anyone ever gone to a boutique ultrasound place? MIL offered to pay if I wanted to go (because she wants to see the baby). I get regular (monthly-ish) ultrasounds and would take her, except no visitors are allowed.
GTKY: What was the best present someone ever gave you? My SIL made a shadow box with family pictures of from my son’s newborn session and included pictures of our stillborn daughter as well, and it was really well done. I cried.

Rant/rave? I am SO TIRED of breathing so loudly and losing my breath so easily. 😂 But baby boy is super active and big brother’s vocab is just exploding, so I’m enjoying both boys’ achievements. 😁
Questions? Anyone else’s baby kicking LOW? It is not super comfortable being kicked down there all the time and I can’t say to anyone “ooh, the baby is kicking, put your hand here to feel it!” 😳🤪
GTKY: What was the best present someone ever gave you? My hubby did pretty well with Mother’s Day this year. He is generally not a very good gift giver so he AGONIZES over what to get me and I usually have to tell him, “just buy me this.” But this time he researched and came up with something on his own—a few months’ subscription to Once Upon a Time Bookclub! Super fun, and more meaningful to me that he did the work to come up with something.

A necklace my husband gave me with our babies’ birthstones. They’re unpolished stones and it’s really neat looking.

Rant/rave?
Rant- losing my internship kind of tops this one right now. But also maybe a continuation of my hatred of packing. Just been a long week.
Rave- I brought DS to our bed when he woke up early and put on the Incredibles 2. I got a cute picture of him cuddling with my bump. Also, while this will be $$$, I put in an application with our credit union to get a new (to me) car because my old one is literally the car I bought when I was 17 (14 years ago and it's a 1999) and while it still runs well, I really want a safer, newer vehicle.
Questions? How many naps is too many naps? I'm not actually taking any but I've been so tired and DS decided to get up at 5:15 instead of 7 today.
GTKY: What was the best present someone ever gave you?
The gift that had the greatest impact on my life was from my Aunt for my 7th birthday. She gave me a set of the first 4 Boxcar Children books. I loved reading but was still mostly on picture books or the early readers. I just devoured these books - disappeared into my room and emerged only for meals for like three days. It definitely cemented my love of reading and my love of my mysteries.

Upcoming appointments? Glucose challenge in like 2 weeks. A little nervous because I have quite the sweet tooth
Rant/rave? My boss doesn't seem to want to talk about my pregnancy EVER. I just put in my official request for maternity leave and he acknowledged the notification he received for my "leave of absence" but it's like he's afraid to even say the word "pregnant". I know he's just trying not to say the wrong thing, but I wish we could just discuss it like normal people.
Questions? Anyone else feel like they suddenly have acid reflux? Every time I bend over I feel something coming up my throat and it's gross. Suggestions welcomed!

My husband (then bf) and I were in a long distance relationship (CA to NJ) for 5 years while we finished grad school. Without fail, we'd always visit each other roughly once a month. We didn't exchange much in the way of literal items during that time but just having him show up and literally "go the distance" for me meant so much to me and made me certain he was the person I wanted to spend my life with.
