Team Green/Pink/Blue: PINK!!!! Gender reveal today.

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: lime - I’ve hit citrus. 🤣

    Upcoming appointments: US Friday.

How are you feeling:  I’m not quite as dramatically sick, but struggling. I need to call my doctor tomorrow to go in for fluids I think.

Rants/Raves: I was able to get the bassinet we’ve been eyeing off the amazon warehouse for $75 - that was the last “big” thing we needed to buy- I already got the double stroller and car seat. We just need to get an extra swing for the sitter (which I’ll buy used) and make sure they have the pack n play we bought them for my son still. Probably buy a cheap second hand play gym too for the sitter. She won’t be going until she’s 16 weeks old, so weve got time. I have my sons crib, swing, walker etc all still.
Also a work friend has a one year old girl, she offered me girl baby clothes, and my other work friend is having a boy in NOV so I will send anything “boy” her way! That worked out!

    Questions:

GTKY: Would you rather: wash dishes, mow the lawn, clean the bathroom, or vacuum the house? Vacuum. We have a roomba, so that just involves emptying it’s butt like every 15 minutes and sitting on my duff.

    Team Green/Pink/Blue: Pink :)

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of:  Toy Soldier

Upcoming appointments: Not until 7/20 - it's so crazy to wait 6 weeks between appointments this time around.

How are you feeling: Not too bad, I'm tired but that's mostly from bad sleeping habits.

Rants/Raves: I filled out an Amazon baby registry and spent the $10 so I could get the welcome box haha. As soon as I get it, I'll edit the registry down to what we actually need.  I only made it to get the 15% completion discount.  We need a few things that I'd like the discount for (high chair, forehead thermometer, etc).  I also need to double check our infant seat and make sure it's not expired.  I think we're good, but I still need to check it out.

    Questions:

GTKY: Would you rather: wash dishes, mow the lawn, clean the bathroom, or vacuum the house? I actually don't really mind washing dishes.  So I'd take that, unless it's a huge pile, then vacuum haha.

    Team Green/Pink/Blue: It's a boy!

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Not so much a general baby fact, but looks like the kid has his dad's legs. Took a big stretch and turn during the ultrasound and tech couldn't stop exclaiming about his "skinny little legs" (I have thunder thighs, which run in the family, so absolutely not from me).

Upcoming appointments: July 15th for 16-week checkup

How are you feeling: pretty good, having a lot of headaches though. Most aren't terrible, just perpetual, nagging headaches.

    Rants/Raves:
Rave: Starting to tell people. As is our style we won't do a big announcement, so I'm just working in small comments into conversation. For example, in a text thread with two of my friends I just mentioned that "first trimester fatigue is real" when they were saying I should try to stay up late to talk to them and just take a nap during the day (which has generally failed so far while teleworking). Definitely starting to feel real.
Rants: My dad has chronic myelogenous leukemia. From what I can tell, if you have to have leukemia it's a "good" one to have....but it's still leukemia. I'm worried about how my mom is handling all of this stress. Also, my husband's grandfather isn't doing well. He hasn't been great for years, after a bout with pneumonia caused enough damage that he's on a feeding tube. He has pneumonia again, and also COVID (of course). I'm not sure which one happened first, I thought my MIL initially said that he didn't have COVID, but nearly everyone has it at his nursing home so not a huge surprise. He's been sick for a while, and we knew that eventually something like this would happen, but that doesn't make it any easier. With the outbreak it also means that they can't visit, which makes it even harder. Her family is scattered all over the country and Canada, so she's pretty alone in this.

    Questions: none right now

GTKY: Would you rather: wash dishes, mow the lawn, clean the bathroom, or vacuum the house? Dishes. Maybe the lawn, but we don't have a lawn. I do all the gardening/weeding though

How are you feeling: pretty good! Better than many other weeks, nausea has slowed down a lot!

    Rants/Raves:
Rave- I got to see little babe last Tuesday and he/she was jumping around like crazy. It was so cute to see.
Rant- I’ve had a stressful last week, fingers crossed everything slows down.

    Questions:

GTKY: Would you rather: wash dishes, mow the lawn, clean the bathroom, or vacuum the house? Clean the bathroom!
  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 14 weeks tomorrow

    FTM/STM/STM+: 4th

Team Green/Pink/Blue: team green but my intuition is saying boy

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: 🍑

    Upcoming appointments: June 29

How are you feeling: Getting some energy back! Still feel nauseous sometimes but getting better.

Rants/Raves: Turned in all of my finals for school and I’m ending the term with maintaining my 4.0 hopefully. 🤞🏼 Picked up several extra classes and hoping to get at least 4 done by July 31st to make sure I don’t fall behind after I have this baby or if anything unexpected happens.

    Questions:

GTKY: Would you rather: wash dishes, mow the lawn, clean the bathroom, or vacuum the house? Do the dishes. Having a dishwasher makes everything so much easier.
