Current pregnancy -
First BFP on 1/4/22.  Due date 9/13/22.

Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.

    Due date? 10/22

    Upcoming appointments? Labs next week,  phone OB visit on 6/18

    Rant/rave? Had to get a filling done on Saturday with no anesthesia.

    How far along are you? 19+2

    Due date? Oct 31 🎃

    Upcoming appointments? Anatomy scan June 12.... in nervous but excited... ObGyn June 23. 

    Rant/rave? Rant: I really want a donut... my husband is being grumpy about it. Bigger Rant: I had an OB appt on Friday and got there to find out my doctor had left for an emergency, the nurse practitioner who I've never met was overwhelmed, so I had to wait alone in a room for OVER AN HOUR before my 5 minute appointment. She started my appointment with "I see we have a hungry mama". When I asked her what she meant she said "well you've gained 18lbs, that's quite a lot". I quickly corrected her with the fact that since last month I had gained 8lbs, and had only gained 13lbs overall. She looked super put out that I had dared to correct her, then I told her I was planning on making an appointment before I leave town at the end of the month and she ARGUED with me. Like dude... when I leave the state I have to quarantine... that means I cant see the doctor again until the end of July... I feel like he would not be supportive of that seeing as I'm high risk. 

    Questions? How do I tell my husband to back the hell off in terms of my occasional sweet tooth of death?

    Due date? 10/23

    Upcoming appointments? I need to schedule my AS and telemedicine visit on June 29. 

    Rant/rave? Rave: we went camping this weekend and it was awesome. Beautiful location and mostly nice weather (some rain Friday night/ Saturday morning). We went hiking and DS had such a blast playing outside all day! Rant: people in the campground partying until after 1am with loud music. It woke DS up and he had a hard time going back to sleep. Almost getting the Subaru stuck on a muddy road on our way to go hiking.

    How far along are you? - 20+3

    Due date? - Oct 23

    Upcoming appointments? - Thursday, new ultrasound to check the heart after the arrhythmia found in the A/S. I hope it's nothing and it'll go away on its own.

    Rant/rave? - We were checking new apartments to move by the end of August and live there for at least 2 years. Now there's a chance that we'll move to the other side of the country by January so can only look at apartments that are willing to take a 6 months lease in case we move.

    Questions? - None

    GTKY: You get one super-power. What do you pick? - This came up before but teleportation (luggage included) would be my super power. No more flying by plane!

    How far along are you? 20 weeks 

    Due date? 10/26

    Upcoming appointments? Anatomy scan and regular OB appointment on 6/11

    Rant/rave? Rave: We are getting things inside and outside more to our liking and ready for summer! We moved here last year, and have been slowly getting things done. We mainly have the front yard left, but can’t do much with it until we can remove the unsightly plastic that’s down to get rid of the grass. 

    Questions? None that I can think of. 

    GTKY: You get one super-power. What do you pick? Mine too is teleportation. I ask for it every time I travel. Then I could also see family that is scattered in different countries whenever I wanted to. 

    @aefsparrow I would probably try to come to an agreement as to what is acceptable for both of you. I would explain that you understand where he’s coming from, and are glad that he cares so much, but that you need to have some wiggle room. And ultimately just try to get your needs across. I know it’s easier said than done.

    @aefsparrow Sounds like we need to sic your husband and my boy person on each other and let them police each other so they could leave us the hell alone lol

    Upcoming appointments?  Check-up tomorrow 

    Rant/rave?  Just had a great dinner out with the BF :) I've been working a LOT of hours lately and haven't been spending a ton of time with him, so I thought it would be good to have an evening out to celebrate being halfway through the pregnancy.  It was so nice to get away for an evening and just talk and laugh and just be together.  Definitely need to remember to take some time for ourselves and for us when the baby gets here, I can only imagine how easy it would be to get caught up in the baby whirlwind.
