@cmoon3 I’ve been looking for comfy shorts for a week. Like loose waistband, good for moving around. Everyone must be buying them because they’re sold out everywhereeee!
I also feel bloated and enormous at 6.2w. My boobs are sore and popping out of my bra and my waist hates anything but elastic.
My other WTF is that the school year is over, so if my supervisors could please stop surprising me with daily 2-hour Zoom meetings I didn't know we were going to have, that'd be greeeaaaaat.

So, I'm like, the 2nd or 3rd back-up to our CAO's secretary. She's taking 2 weeks of time off at the beginning of July and scheduled it like, 2 months ago and let all appropriate parties know. Her back-up HATES doing her job, despite the fact that it's literally in her job description and will seemingly do anything to get out of it. She waited until late Monday or early Tuesday to decide that she is going to ~vaguely~ also take off time around that time. I'm officially on vacation as of 3:00 PM today (Wednesday), so I find out yesterday morning that I get to spend all day today training on all sorts of reports I've never seen before, let alone completed, upon my return. Whereas, if inconsiderate co-worker would have TOLD US that she was going to take the time off when informed she'd need to be the back-up MONTHS ago, I could have had more than 1 day notice, not had to drop literally everything else I was doing for a 1-day crammed session and we could have spread it out.
Of course, I can't complain to anyone at work about it, because that would me being "mean" because "she's such a sweet lady."
@lanabanafofana Every single day my kids take every single item from their rooms and the playroom and bring them to the couch. They’re “building castles”.
Then it comes time to clean up and they “don’t know how”. Commence the crying.
@WildMagelet Ew that is so annoying!! I haaate people who slide their way out of their responsibilities.
Agree on all the bloat and feeling large! I already am about 20 lbs bigger than when I got pregnant with my first, so that's one thing, but yeah like my stomach gets hard as a rock right after a meal it's crazy. Confession: I have already purchased maternity underwear and it's amazing. Don't judge me.
My WTF for the day is- we are trying to rent a new house because we are now needing something with more space. We found a place we love, and I was reading over the "rules" on the application today... one of them says that you can't wash your car on the property. Like....huh???? Why not??? We pay for water, so why would that matter to a landlord? So weird to me. Also he doesn't want you to hang clothes outside to dry (like on a clothesline).... mkay?
So my husband has a tendency to not fully think out what he is saying. Quote of the week... "Food babies are not good because they hurt when they come out. Oh I just said that to a pregnant women." 🤣
Woooooord on the bloating. As soon as I eat anything, I look MUCH further along than I am at 4 weeks. My mom commented today that I better wear loose clothes around people I don’t want to guess. She’s not wrong. I’m close to pulling the trigger on either maternity jeans or at least a size up!
Re: WTF Wednesday
I knew I would go into maternity clothes earlier than some, but this is crazy. I'm 4 weeks! Must buy more soft pants.

WTF to my children! Why do you feel the need to drag everything out of your room and leave it all over the house!
