Re: TWW Weekend 6/6-6/7

  • Month/Cycle: 6/6

    CD/DPO: 25/8

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, O, +1

Typical LP length: 9-10 but on progesterone

    Testing: ???

R/R: I cannot for the life of me sleep in anymore, even on the weekend. I have been up working since 4 am  :s But at least I can knock a bunch out before DH gets up so we can drive somewhere to get breakfast and I will have already done a few hours of work!

CS/Q: I realized I forgot to tell FF that I also temped super early yesterday (it just defaults to 5 am always), so I have my sad triangles now. But still pretty sure I am out and AF will show in the next couple days. I guess the RE was right that progesterone can't help me.

GTKY: Back in 2015 when DH and I had only been dating a few months, we went to Vegas for my birthday and were planning on just doing it kind of low key, but then he unexpectedly hit it big doing some sports betting, so we celebrated by going to one of the nice steakhouses there and getting the works - seafood tower, appetizers, steaks, cocktails, a super nice bottle of wine, desserts. It was probably part giddiness over the unexpected windfall, but it was by far the best meal ever. And then we went back there just under 2 years later the night we got engaged.  <3

  • @legallykate 4am!!! I bet it feels good to have so much work knocked out already though :) That Vegas meal sounds so good! Glad you guys were able to go back, too. We went to Vegas for one of my birthdays too, and he proposed on the same trip :)

@bows22 Happy Birthday!!!! Hope you're enjoying the day <3

    Month/Cycle: I guess it's actually month 2 now. Still cycle 1.

    CD/DPO: 37/12

    Timing: maybe not good enough

    Typical LP length: 13

    Testing: BFN today

R/R: MH and I had a really nice time last night with my friend and her H! We accidentally stayed out past the curfew in my city but got home safely and didn't get in trouble....

    TW:

She's about 6 months pregnant with a baby boy, so it was interesting and fun to finally get to see her big baby bump! It was hard to ask too many questions about how things have been going so far without seeming overly eager, though (no one knows MH and I started trying, and I want to keep it that way!)

And today I'm just baking the cake for MH's bday, will be doing a zoom call with his cousins, and will hopefully get outside a bit before I make those birthday martinis!

CS/Q: Just waiting for AF now.

GTKY: I don't know if I can pick just one?!?! I'm remembering this amazing chicken my uncle made on the grill one time when I was 16 or so...and this super cheap but super delicious meal my friends and I had at a Burmese restaurant in Thailand, after we had just done this super intense (for me!) hike to a temple at the top of a mountain and then drove back to the city area. I think that's the meal I'd have to pick, although I'm sure exhaustion and the weird spiritual feeling on top of the mountain were part of what contributed!

  • @legallykate 😂 sad triangles. Best description! If I temp at 6:13 and get a triangle for 6:15 I totally check 6:10 to see if I get a circle. I LOVE being productive in the morning before breakfast- it makes the rest of the day feel so good. I also love Vegas- we go every couple of years and eat like crazy.

@priyadoc happy birthday to YH!! Glad you had a good time with your friends! Sorry about your BFN. Also thanks for the reminder about the month change - I forgot about it this week. I think your Burmese Thai meal sounds amazing! I love traveling and feel like any meal outside of my home state is amazing :)

    @bows22 happy birthday!!

    Month/Cycle: 14/11

    CD/DPO: 25/11

    Timing: great

    Typical LP length: 12-14

    Testing: BFN this morning.

R/R: I zoomed with my friends last night and it was just what I needed. Went to a drive-by bridal shower today and stopped on my way home for a bottle of wine. I haven't had wine in over a year and holy moly. Thunder storms are rolling through our area and I have a good book to read so today is ok.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What is the best meal you have ever eaten?

This is a hard one- MH LOVES to cook and is always challenging himself with new meals. If I like something at a restaurant he tries it over and over at home until he can make something comparable. It makes going/ ordering out difficult bc a lot of his things I actually like better. It also makes eating healthy and losing weight hard lol. Some of my most memorable meals were at the Jules Verne at the Eiffel Tower, pesto gnocchi in Florence, monk fish and key lime pie ice cream in key West. Ohhh and parasols poboys in New Orleans. We have a travel journal that we bring with us on trips to write down where we ate/what food we had in case we go back or we have friends that go.
