Trying to Get Pregnant

WTO Thursday 6/4

WAYDTGKU: PNVs, OPKs, temping, tracking CM, progesterone after O

R/R: Sorry to post and ghost yesterday!! My app wasn’t working, and I couldn’t get on TB mobile either. So weird. We had some heavy storms throughout the day yesterday, so I feel like every time I tried to get on the Internet it wasn’t working great. We seem to be really lucky to still have power today - most of the surrounding areas are out due to downed trees and wires!

  • Month/Cycle: 22

    WAYDTGKU: FET this month

R/R: I really need to get my life together - the house needs to be picked up and cleaned, I have a pile of laundry I not-so-affectionately call Mount Clothesmore, I desperately need to vacuum. I also have just been spacey lately - I started my vegetable steamer for dinner last night with no water in it, and then I didn't read my instant pot recipe all the way through and accidentally added the cornstarch before I cooked the chicken (which is a huge no-no) so I had to stop the instant pot in time, throw out the sauce I had made and make a new batch.

But I did get some reading done last night on my vampire book, and we also got a workout in, so I guess I'm doing ok still :D

  • @inthewoods23 good luck today! thinking of you

@runningoncookies we had storms here too yesterday! lots of leaves and branches downed--luckily the landscaper comes today!  glad your power stayed on though, i always find myself dumbfounded what to do when it goes out.

    Month/Cycle: 6/5 AL

    CD: 12

    WAYDTGKU: prenatals, temping, opks

R/R: had a pretty nice sleep last night, as in didn't wake up at all, but still tired.  i have a call at 11 and then nothing else for the day so ill nap and catch up on some TV i think.  it's a little humid out, so maybe i'll go for a run later if it gets better.  if not, i did download obe fitness thru amex because i got 2 months free, so i will try that out.

CS/Q: talked to DH last night about HIO over the next 4 days as much as possible so wish me luck!

  • @inthewoods23 good luck today! Sending positive thoughts your way!

@runningoncookies yikes! Glad you still have power. Heavy storms came through our area late Tuesday night but thankfully didn't hit my town.

@mvt2003 goat you caught the cornstarch issue in time but so frustrating. I hope you can get to the laundry today.

@asf0613 shine like you have a nice day ahead! Enjoy!

    Month/Cycle: 12/6

    CD: 72/BCP day 24

    WAYDTGKU: benched for 3 months

R/R: hey ladies! Still intermittent for the dailies while I'm benched. I'm expecting AF soon since I've been off the hormonal pills for a couple days. We're expecting gorgeous weather today so I'm going to take a walk this morning and try to soak up the sunshine and vitamin D this afternoon. I'm also recording my last lesson for the school year today at some point.

    CS/Q:
  • @legallykate thanks!

@runningoncookies I have a weird issue sometimes on the website where I'll log in, click on the "getting pregnant forums" to come here and the page shows me as logged out so I can't comment or anything?? Makes no sense.

@mvt2003 You and DH should become friends. I was just telling my therapist yesterday how there is a mound of DH's clothes right when you enter our bedroom that has been there for probably 2 weeks at this point which normally would drive me mad because it's taking up a decent amount of space on the floor and I have to navigate around it and the bed to get to my dresser. I'm learning to care less, it'll get done eventually!

@asf0613 a nap in the middle of the day sounds nice! I was mentioning to DH the other day about our mid-day romps because it's really nice to get that out of the way so you don't have to worry about being too tired to do it before you go to bed

@gingermama29 goodness that time flew by fast! You're already done with pack 1! Enjoy the weather!

  • @inthewoods23 Haha I'm the worst at folding and putting away laundry! (I should also mention the laundry is both mine and MH's so it's not like one of us is neat and the other one isn't, at least on this!) Good luck today, will be thinking of you! Hopefully the draining will be easy and quick!

@gingermama29 Enjoy the beautiful day!!!!! Also, BCP is almost 1/3 of the way done, friend!!!!!!! Par-tayyyyy!

@asf0613 Ooh I was torn between trying Obe and Beachbody, because I had a free trial for both, but MH told me to do Beachbody because it's cheaper in case I liked it haha! I've heard great things about Obe though!

@runningoncookies Glad you still have power! It's hard enough right now, adding in no power/internet would be awful!

  • @mvt2003 with everything going on in the world right now I’m with you on frequently feeling distracted! It’s good that you were still able to work out and read yesterday!

@asf0613 your day sounds so wonderful...enjoy!

@gingermama29 wow...last lesson for the school year! That has to be such a weird feeling. I’m still a couple weeks out from being done. Doesn’t it feel so weird to be home this time of year??
  • @inthewoods23 GL at your appointment today.  I hope it's not too painful!

@runningoncookies I'm glad you still have power today!  Storms can be crazy!

@mvt2003 I hate those spacey days.  It happens to the best of us.  Hang in there friend!

@asf0613 I think a nap and TV sounds like a great plan!  Hope you enjoy!

@gingermama29 Enjoy the sunshine!!  How are you feeling about the school year coming to an end?  Also, how is your kitty doing after her teeth removal?

R/R: I leave today to go visit my family.  I'm so excited!!  The city I'm going to is opening up a lot more, so I feel comfortable going (still observing social distancing of course).  Plus I haven't seen my family since Christmas which is a really long time for me.  It'll suck to spend all day in the car, but it'll be worth it.

@runningoncookies glad the worst of the storm damage missed you!

@mvt2003 I feel this so much, I feel just completely spaced out so much of the time lately. There is both too much and too little going on and it's messing with my head, haha.

@asf0613 sounds like a very pleasant plan for the day.

@gingermama29 glad you're planning to get outside and soak up some sun!

@linzrunz hope you have the best time visiting your family.

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD: 25

    WAYDTGKU: temping, OPKs, PNVs

R/R: Woohoo, after so much OPK confusion this cycle I think I'm surging! Temp went back down this morning so, as I suspected, yesterday's spike was due to alcohol consumption rather than O'ing, but hopefully my OPK lines keep getting darker and it happens soon. Not at all thrilled about this likely being another 40 day cycle though -- last cycle was normal for me at 32 days but the previous one was 41, and that was a first-in-my-life experience that I chalked up to stress due to the onset of the pandemic and quarantine.

  • @runningoncookies definitely feels strange, but with the weather changing it also feels like summer break already so I'm ready to be done doing schoolwork for a bit.

@linzrunz thanks for asking! She's doing great! So sweet and cuddly and completely herself. She has to eat soft food for 2 weeks, but I have 2 other cats and have dry food out for them during the day. I keep having to chase her away from that.
    so snuggly and happy!
    Enjoy seeing your family today!

@the_most_happy ugh I hear you on long cycles. Sorry this one seems to be going that way again. Hopefully your OPKs will continue to darken.
  • @mvt2003 we'll do that too! Everything gets washed and then left in hampers. Folding and putting away can sometimes be a few weeks later.

@linzrunz have fun! It is definitely really refreshing to see family again these days

@the_most_happy I had always been quite regular with cycles between 30-33 days and was so thrown off by a cycle that lasted 39 days. Since then I've been able to pinpoint instances before O of high stress contributing to delaying O by 5-7 days. I think it was the 2nd cycle of that happening that I noticed the possible culprit and sure enough, when I had it happen again O was delayed about 5 days or so. It could definitely be the heighten stress causing things to slow down before O.

@gingermama29 I don't know what it is but she is just the CUTEST CAT. I think I just love her little brown nose in an otherwise mostly white face.

Cyst aspiration went well today! It came out reddish brown YUCK. Oh btw TMI :D Felt a little sore after but it's all back to normal now. Just have to wear a bra for a little bit. I didn't know this, but they put a little metal clip thing in to mark where the cyst was so that when they do the follow up they know where to look. Hopefully it doesn't grow back, but we'll see 6 months from now. I'm just glad my arm won't be "catching" on it anymore. It moved so much it was getting wedged a little between my arm and boob at times. And now I'm just looking forward to tomorrow being Friday. Woohoo!
