I am hoping to add fruits and veggies back this week. Not going crazy about adding meat back in yet, but anything other than grilled cheese is a good first step.
Last week we fell into the terrible habit of eating lunch at 3pm, so we didn't eat dinner most nights. My husband would nap during his lunch break and I would join him. Hoping for two real meals a day this week.
Homemade calzones last night (although the baby did not like garlic. As the child of two Italians, they may have a hard life. But while pregnant, I guess I will go easy on it).
Baked ziti
Turkey burgers
Lunch ideas: Hot roast beef sandwich Grilled cheese Tomato soup
Anyone have a recommendation on meal shakes (like Ensure or Pediasure)? I need something like that for work and just wondering what I should be getting.
Sunday: tacos monday: meatloaf (craving it big time), mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts tuesday: Bulgogi tacos- super excited about this. Our grocery store has different cooking demos every day throughout the store and they provide the recipes.
Wednesday- either pickup or Texas Ranch casserole from above mentioned store The rest of the week is leftovers/ sandwiches/ pickup.
Oh and for meal replacement shakes, I really liked Muscle Milk low sugar in chocolate. Premier protein seems to be another popular choice, but the one I tried (I think it was Caramel flavor) seemed way too sweet for me and not sure if they make a low sugar option.
ETA: actually I think it’s muscle milk light- not low sugar.
Will be making falafel wraps with homemade hummus, Vietnamese spring roll bowls and carnitas tacos. Just not sure what days for each.
Had an OB appt today and picked up Burger King for lunch On my way home (it’s a treat for us for lunch every time I have an appt) but we didn’t eat until almost 2 and I’m still stuffed! Need to get out for a walk around the block or something.

@karmba I can't eat pork, but I love to make a pulled chicken sandwich. Maybe a good compromise with the more expensive pork shoulder. I just put the same sauce over chicken breasts in my crockpot. I only cook it for a few hours so the chicken doesn't dry out.
Miso butter salmon with green beans (meal kit from Home Chef)
Whole wheat pasta with chicken sausage, vegetables, and tomatoes -- Something I make a lot, it's a tomato sauce from canned diced tomatoes/garlic/onion/broth, plus some sort of meat (this time it's roasted garlic chicken sausage, but I've used normal sausage and ground beef before) and the leftover ratatouille vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, summer squash).
Honey sriracha chicken (meal kit from Home Chef)
Grilled chicken thighs with elote corn on the cob
After that is where it falls apart, since it'll depend on whether we get tired and want to order out, or if I get myself to the fish market so I can make crab cakes or fish stew. We did start our Home Chef subscription back up, which is a big help. We cancelled for the first month or two of quarantine, but I started getting tired. It's also a good way to ensure that we get some fresh vegetables and fish/protein each week

Salads with grilled shrimp
Homemade chicken tenders
Grilled chicken sandwiches
Chicken fajitas
Takeout
I'd like pulled pork this weekend - but pork shoulder has been expensive recently at the grocery store so it might just be more chicken haha.
