Current pregnancy -
First BFP on 1/4/22.  Due date 9/13/22.

Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.

    Due date? 10/13

    Upcoming appointments? Growth scan and cervix check later in the month. Telehealth appointment next week

    Rant/rave? 
    Rant: Still haven’t felt these babies move and it’s starting to make me so anxious. Everyone looked great at the AS last week I just really thought I’d feel movement by now. 
    Rave: Finally got to leave and see family and it’s made my life so much better

    Questions?

    Rant/rave?
    Rant- started having all day heartburn. Didn’t experience that in my first two pregnancies and it sucks 
    Rave- Lots of baby kicks happening here and it’s so nice to have the reassurance 

    Questions?— none

    - It’s such a feel good coming of age story with young preteen girls sneaking out to the cemetery at night, taping their boobs down, and stealing boy’s clothes

    Due date? 10/11

    Upcoming appointments? Fetal echo in 3 weeks (standard for all IVF pregnancies at my OB) and a regular office visit the week (or two?) after.

    Rant/rave? rant: I don't even want to start on it. I live in Minnesota. Rave: my little sister came to visit this weekend and it was so, so lovely to see her AND she brought me a gigantic plant for no reason at all. 

    Questions? Nope.

    GTKY: Sell us on your favorite movie. Men In Black: how can you not love it? Cheesy humor and 90's Will Smith. I didn't see it for the first time until probably 5 years ago and I regret missing out on it for so long lol.

    Im spacing right now- rough morning. one of my favorites is def troop Beverly hills though - although I haven't watched it in a long time so hard to make the pitch

    Due Date: Oct 9

    Upcoming Appointment: 24-week checkup on June 16

    Rant: This heat is killing me right now and I can’t be outside for very long. I’ve get overheated and dehydrate easily and it’s just worse now that I’m pregnant. I used to be able to tolerate heat better where I’m from, but now that I live in the Deep South I get hot and short of breath within 5 minutes of being outside. 

    Rave: Finally decided on colors for our nursery! We’re going with a very light purple for the walls and a darker purple for some crown molding with lights behind them we’re installing at the tops of the walls.

    Questions? None this week!

    GTKY: Star Wars: A New Hope, but honestly it holds a lot of nostalgia for me, they’re the first movies I can remember watching as a kid, I played with my dad’s original action figures, and I read a ton of the Expanded Universe books growing up. Definitely the first of many fandoms I belong to.

    Due date? 10/10

    Upcoming appointments? 24 week appt at the end of the month over the phone, 28 week appt with glucose test will be the month after.

    Rant/rave? I don't even know. Rave I guess is that my mom is coming back this week, but only for one day...her exposure is going to be the same whether she comes for one day or her usual two so I'm a little perplexed and frustrated by that, so maybe that's my rant, lol.
