  • @whitealbum29 MH and I have a camp in Oxford County! We were just there last weekend and had a great time getting away for a few days.
  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: Jan 28, I think that puts me at 5+4
FTM/STM/STM+: This will be living baby #5, you know 🤞🏻
Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Still unsure about this. We have two of each, so it would be fun to wait, but I also love knowing and being able to plan around that.
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Apple seed
Upcoming appointments: July 1, I’ll be 10 weeks
How are you feeling?: Soooo nauseous, tired bloated, and lots of pee breaks.
Rants/Raves:I’m up to pee twice a night, which I’m sure isn’t helping with the exhaustion. I’m also mad that there’s not a more foolproof way to pick a good watermelon (yes, I’ve looked up and tried all the things) I still feel like it’s a 50/50 shot. The last one we got tasted like the rind, all the way through. I just want a good melon every dang time!
    Questions: No.

How are you feeling?: tired, nauseous, so much sciatica pain. Also allergies because I switched from Allegra to Zyrtec when I found out I was pregnant. So much sneezing and itchy eyes. I’m obviously a delight to be around right now and am not constantly complaining or anything like that.

Rants/Raves: the boys have been really fun lately and it’s so much fun seeing our 3 year old being obsessed with his 1 year old brother. All he wants to do is constantly play with him and it’s adorable.

How are you feeling?: Tired; some heartburn at night; sore boobs (and nursing a 23-month-old isn't helping). Some food aversions (including coffee, which would really help with the tiredness).
Rants/Raves: My husband and I both have busy/demanding jobs, and this whole working from home thing while keeping a toddler entertained is exhausting. So looking forward to daycare opening back up (which could happen in at least a couple of weeks), and I think she'll be much happier back there, too.

@krisspy22 Oh cool, there are so many nice towns there! We're on the coast in southern Maine.
@BuckeyeNut05 I'm with you on telling people...I am looking forward to telling more family/friends later but I know on social media I won't tell anyone till January...or possibly not even then for some platforms.
@feelingjovani Oh I didn't know we were EDD "twins"! or triplets with @lavenderclouds :joy:
@lavenderclouds That mix sounds kind of delicious to me right now! I thought I had a little bump this weekend and had to use a rubber band around the button on my jeans when we went out...but I think I was just bloated.
  • @whitealbum29 I got my EDD adjusted last week when I went for an ultrasound from 1/3 to 1/8!  Due date twins!!
    Pregnancy Ticker
  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 1/25 (6w+1)

    FTM/STM/STM+: STM+

Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Team green this time because we already have 1 of each

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: baby is the size of a pea

Upcoming appointments: physical next week, ultrasound in 6 weeks.

How are you feeling?: nauseous and exhausted

Rants/Raves: I hate not having my husband at ultrasound appointments. While I COMPLETELY understand why, it’s weird not to have him there this time around.

    Questions: none right now

GTKY: Where do you live? Connecticut

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Raspberry
    Upcoming appointments: June 23
How are you feeling?: I go back and forth deciding which is worse - the nausea or the exhaustion. I'm also really bloated, which is fun after spending quarantine trying to get in shape.
Rants/Raves: My family is going on vacation this weekend and I'm so excited to leave town. I'm just ready to be anywhere but here!
    Questions: n/a
GTKY: Where do you live? SC

@BuckeyeNut05 I love that part of isolating right now, too. We only have to tell people if we want to (no "why aren't you drinking?" questions) and I'm enjoying keeping it a secret.
@lavenderclouds I love strange cravings! I've been eating bagels dipped in diced tomatoes. It makes me feel like a good mom because I'm doing it "for the baby" not because I would normally eat that. I've also been eating a lot of mozzarella sticks and Moon Pies "for the baby"
@aels12 We're doing NIPT testing at my next appointment (yay for being over 35). I'm nervous but also excited to find out the gender early

  • Okay finally catching up!
@whitealbum29 so sorry about the sleep have you tried unisom? I use it with b6 for nausea but it helps me fall asleep at night.

@oaktree6 hope your busy week goes well and you are able to get some rest!

@krisspy22 glad you have made the happy hours work! I was hesitant to share with my other two pregnancies but now after my MC I’m telling people left and right it just was so hard to go through alone.

@buckeyeNut02 yay for walking such a fun and busy milestone.

@feelingjovani hope your appointment goes well!

@lavenderclouds haha glad you got your first cravings after not having much appetite. That nausea is a killer!

@hippiegirl884 Sending lots of hugs emotions are hard especially when they seem out of your control. Hope you can get some time to yourself.

@amm126 how frustrating that they won’t get back to you! I’d be annoyed if they were just radio silent.

@savykay I am so with you on the watermelon it has been one of my cravings and we got a way over ripe one and it was so bad and then one amazing one! I feel I just can’t trust a watermelon 😂

@aels12 have you tried a Netipot for your allergies? It’s helped mine a lot especially if I use it in the evening before bed.

@happyfeet34 sorry the nausea is back!

@supersara2 good luck at your appointment hope it goes well!

@marynog it is so hard trying to balance it all. Be kind to yourself and give yourself grace! Also what is the harmony test is it similar to NIPT?

@mamasloth doing anything fun for vacation?

  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: Jan 20/ 7w

    FTM/STM/STM+: STM+

Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: I want to be team green this time because we already have 1 of each. But my husband won’t go for it.

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: A blueberry!

Upcoming appointments: Even though I’ve already seen the dr like 6 times, I go in on 6/16 for my actual first OB, I’ll be close to 9 weeks.

How are you feeling?: I actually feel pretty good! I felt like hot garbage with my daughter but looked fabulous (my hair was so lush, skin was clear, no bloat) and with my son I felt good and looked like trash (all the bloat, breakouts, and dry frizzy hair). This one is looking identical to my son’s pregnancy and my gut tells me we’re team blue again. Also the third baby (especially 2nd baby in 1 year) means I basically had to bust out the maternity pants as soon as the pee stick dried. So that’s fun.

Rants/Raves: I’m ready to be done with COVID. I just want to be able to take my kids to Chick Fil A or the mall and not be paranoid.

Questions: How are you guys making sure you’re getting enough water? I’m struggling

GTKY: Where do you live?: I live in the insanely hot state of New Mexico
  • Back for tags!
@whitealbum29 Benadryl. That's how I slept my whole first pregnancy. And prunes are honestly working better than a laxative.

@oaktree6 I've had a moderately busy week - I feel like I am maybe getting some energy back? Some of it is getting the morning sickness under control for sure.

@krisspy22 My son (3) called my parents and announced "There is a baby coming!" - We haven't announced publicly yet, but family has known since like 4 weeks.

@buckeyeNut02 My son was 14 months and he went right from crawling to running. His first step was actually three, and by the end of the day he was running. I think when they wait until they are a little older it's actually better on their bones from what I've read!

@feelingjovani hope your appointment went well!

@lavenderclouds sardines? blech! But glad it's working for you!

@hippiegirl884 These pregnancy emotions are no joke. I am always emotional during pregnancy.

@amm126 My son went back three weeks ago - It's been great for my mental health. I kept him home today because he was sniffly (allergies) but I am glad to be moving into our new normal. I am WFH still, but it's feeling more sustainable with childcare

@savykay I have a watermelon and a honeydew in my kitchen right now, lol! Yes, I feel like I am up to pee like five times a night. I know it will only get worse. :(

@aels12 I never liked the netipot, but the "little noses" brand saline spray has some FORCE behind it, and I found that one worked well for me. It's in the infant section.

@happyfeet34 Call you doctor! Its not worth suffering.

@supersara2  Seriously getting daycare back made a huge difference. WFH isn't too bad, but WFH with a toddler was slowly killing me.

@marynog I had the Harmony done with my son - Call your insurance to make sure they cover it. Harmony's lab (and they run it through their own lab) was out of network for me, but the other NIPT was covered. I was able to get them to cover it, but it took a bunch of phone calls and was a headache.

@stillcozy Good luck at the US. It's so amazing. Are they letting you video your partner in?

@mamasloth we are planning a vacation for a few months from now - just a campground and borrowing my parents trailer, but I am so excited for something different!

@jekasi I have definitely been low key grateful for quarantine in the first tri...

My front office staff got me one of these! They blink at you if you haven't drank anything in 30 minutes.

  • @the_road_to_oz regarding the zofran - girrrrl spare yourself a lovely experience with a suppository called a “rectal rocket” and take alllll the fiber and stool softeners. Trust me on this one!
  • @carleym93 We have two of each, so I think team green would fun this time around too, but my husband is also not on board. Let me know if you find a secret way to convince yours so I can try it on mine. 😉
1st BFP 6/7/10 premature delivery and loss at 22w2d on 10/4/10

    5th BFP 11/15, DS born 7/24/16
    6th BFP 7/14/16, EDD 3/20/18

  • @stillcozy yeah it’s the NIPT, I always forget the acronym but for some reason remember the brand name of the test (nice work, Harmony marketing). Oddly enough, my doctor just handed me a box with the test kit, I bring that to the lab and they’ll draw the blood vials for it.
  • @the_road_to_oz I love WFH. In the before times, I used to WFH 3 times a week. Now I want to WFH full time, and it seems like my company is open to that.
  • @savykay Bahaha yes! I’ve always loved the idea of team green but my excitement has gotten the better of me with the other two and we found out. I have a friend who is a mom of TEN and was team green with her youngest 5. She said the energy in the delivery room is so fun and unique and all the doctors and nurses are so excited. I just think it would be so fun to be surprised! But my husband is one of those types where he has to know so we can name the baby right away and then he starts talking to it and picturing it. He needs that to feel connected. I’m going to keep working on it 😉
  • @the_road_to_oz AAANNDD ordering. Thank you!!
  • @the_road_to_oz They probably would but since it will just be a dating scan he isn’t all that interested. I just hope he can come if we do the N/T scan at 12 weeks that we have done the past two times

  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 7 + 4

FTM/STM/STM+: This will be my 3rd! I have a 4 yo son and 2 yo daughter.

Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Finding out for sure. This is our last and the moment I know I’m getting rid of ALLLLLL the stuff we don’t need.

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: an M&M! My son thinks that is hilarious 😆

Upcoming appointments: Monday. I cannot stand the wait! I have so much anxiety before that first appointment.

How are you feeling?: So, so, so, so tired. It’s been in the upper 80s/low 90s here this week and I cannot handle this heat. Idk if it’s the bloat or what, but I feel like I’m dying when I’m outside. So tired, hot, bloated... 😂 I feel like my stomach never goes down and I feel so gross all the time. I feel really, really irritated with my husband almost all of the time. So far, I have a little nausea everyday. When it comes on, I feel like I can’t have anything touching my stomach or come even remotely close to my stomach. It happens a lot in the evening thankfully when DH is around and I go upstairs and lay down with no pants on for like 15 minutes 😆😆

Rants/Raves: just all of the above. And obviously everything happening in the world right now. I lose a lot of sleep over everything and I’m so consumed with it all right now. I struggle with wanting to stay informed and also needing a mental break. I’ve been feeling very overwhelmed.

Questions: STMs... when did you start to show with each of your children?

GTKY: Where do you live? Iowa!
  • @lemomma with my previous pregnancy I had Bloat Belly starting at 6-7 weeks, but didn’t legitimately start showing until 14-15 weeks.
  • @lemomma With my first, I didn’t show until 18-19 weeks. My second it was around 12ish. This time I’m huge already at 7 weeks and if I wasn’t in quarantine, I think people would have figured it out already.
  • @stillcozy Haven't tried anything yet, I had one terrible night this week and a couple good ones! If it goes in the wrong direction next week I might get that or Benadryl.
@carleym93 I downloaded this app a few months ago called Plant Nanny that gave me reminders, it was helpful! You water a little "plant" and it grows if you drink what you're supposed to.
@the_road_to_oz ooh I'll get some prunes! Sadly I have also found that exercising a bit every day instead of relaxing on my couch is helping...bummer. :joy:
@lemomma Hugs to you! It is an overwhelming time. Definitely take care of your mental health, I work in news/journalism and absolutely try to tune out the news when I'm off the clock (it's hard the past couple months tho), and I really notice a difference in my mood/overall wellbeing when I do. Last weekend I was glued to Twitter way too much and by Sunday afternoon I was like, "enough already before you waste your entire weekend and then are required to pay attention to the news for five days straight!"
  • @lemomma with my first and second 9 weeks. This is our third and I look fluffy but I don’t look like I have a bump yet, which is odd because I started at my smallest this time.
