  • Month/Cycle: 5/6

    CD: 16

WAYDTGKU: Temping, OPKs, monitoring CM, healthy diet and supplements for egg health, progesterone after O, HIO

R/R: We closed on our refi last night finally, super glad that is over and off my plate of things to be anxious about. And we are going to be saving $1200/mo on our mortgage so I guess that is one positive to come out of all this craziness. It was super weird having a stranger (mobile notary) in our house, and he showed up sans mask so DH had to ask him to wear one of our disposable ones but oh well.  I'm feeling more at peace with all the fertility stuff too, I think we are just going to try a few more cycles sans treatment and hope for the best and keep both getting as healthy as possible during that time period and then just go for it with IVF in late summer/early fall.

CS/Q: Super confused as to what is going on here since I haven't had even close to a positive OPK yet.

    *TTC History*

    Me: 37, MH: 38; Married August 2017

TTC #1 October 2017: BFP on 12/1/2017, DD born 7/24/2018 @ 37+1 after induction due to preeclampsia

TTC #2 January 2020: AMA, dx with DOR in May 2020

    IVF July 2020: 16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 12 fertilized, 3 blasts, 2 PGT-A normal

    FET 10/7/20: BFP on 10/12/20!!! (EDD 6/25/21); First beta 10/16/20 (9dpt): 148; Second beta 10/19/20 (12dpt): 621; Third beta 10/26/20 (19dpt): 4732; Fourth (and final!) beta 11/2/20 (26 dpt): 22,000+

  • @legallykate congrats on getting everything finished with the house stuff! I can’t believe the notary showed up without a mask! Good thing you guys have extras! I’m so happy to hear that you’re feeling more at peace today too.

    Month/Cycle: 7/7

    CD: 3

WAYDTGKU: PNVs, OPKs, temping, tracking CM, progesterone after O

R/R: DH and I literally got into an argument about almond milk this morning. Like come on! I wanted to make a smoothie for breakfast, but we are out of almond milk and I didn’t want to use water. He tends to take it really personally when I am sad about not having something in the house (even when it’s not at all his fault). So while I was eating a protein bar and moving on from not having a smoothie, he was being all annoyed that I was “whining”. Which then makes me aggravated that he is annoyed. Ughhhh!

  • @legallykate wow SAVING $1200/mo?? That's huge. I think you have a good plan before starting IVF. It makes sense to give yourselves some time to get healthier for optimal results.

@runningoncookies I always get a little ticked when DH complains that we don't have some food item in our house. Like I'm not the only one in this house capable of going to the grocery store!!

    Month/Cycle: 36

    CD: 2

WAYDTGKU: HIO with Conceive+, supplements, temping, OPKs, GF and DF diet

R/R: Man was my mental health in the toilet yesterday. I got really overwhelmed about work because I just always feel lost and then that branched into about how the house overwhelms me because we have unfinished projects all throughout the house and it's just so cluttered and tear and tears and tears. DH was really good about it that we should put a list together of everything that we want to do so that we can check things off. One other thing that was getting to me yesterday was that I can do things around the house and then it just goes back to being dirty or I'll pull weeds and they just come back. I didn't mention it at the time, but there's a lot that should probably just be done by hired work and that's so much money and that worries me. If all time could just stop while I work on the house that would be great  :/

    CS/Q: nothing exciting yet

  • @inthewoods23 sorry you were feeling overwhelmed yesterday! I totally get that way too about house projects (weeding is literally the worst and sometimes feels so pointless). Making a list and prioritizing it always helps me!
  • @runningoncookies That’s annoying that YH was being all butthurt this morning but it is sweet that he likes to have everything you need/want on hand for you!

@inthewoods23 Sorry for the rough day yesterday. A list sounds like a good plan for tackling things little by little. We have a couple of house projects on hold for now too so I can understand the annoyance with it. It’s such a weird time, like everything kind of has stopped but then again it hasn’t.
