How are you feeling this week? Pretty good. Having a harder time getting comfortable at night and the terrible ergonomics while working are starting to get to me.
What are you doing to stay active? Still the same - cycling workouts 5 days/week, and I've started doing my Bradley "exercises" (except kegels...whyyyy can I not make myself do kegels?!).
How did you do last week? Good! Other than one workout a week that incorporates some light arm weights, though, I'm still not doing any strength workouts. I've been doing lots of interval work lately and I can feel the difference in how quickly I recover from each effort, which I'm hoping comes in useful in labor.
Any goals for next week? DO A STRENGTH WORKOUT. Prenatal pilates, maybe. Something!
How are you feeling this week? Very good! I think the exercise everyday has really kept the backpain away. With my last pregnancy, I was not doing any intentional exercise and I was having daily back pain by this point. I did not workout yesterday or today and my back is hurting tonight.
What are you doing to stay active? I'm doing a strength training plan, so I do about 20 to 30 minutes of a lifting or free weights each day. I'm also trying to walk with my son in the stroller everyday that is nice out.
How did you do last week? I worked out Monday through Wednesday. On Thursday I had to go into my classroom all day to get it cleaned up, so I missed my workout. Today I had a meeting during my normal workout time, so I missed today too! Overall I would say that was pretty good! I will make up for it in Saturday and Sunday.
Any goals for next week? It will be crazy the next 2 weeks as the school year winds down and I have more planning meetings so I am hoping I can at least get a walk and a quick workout in each day. My mother's day gift was an elliptical! I haven't had a chance to use it much yet because I am working during my sons nap time. 2 more weeks and then I can actually use naptime to get a quality workout in rather than rush through something.
@riatortillaxo That is an amazing Mother's Day gift! I remember how scandalized everyone was back at Christmas with those peloton commercials and the idea that a guy would gift his gf/wife exercise equipment, but I think it sounds amazing... it's the gift of TIME and convenience more than anything. I hope you love it!
@bigbuttbecky I'm so impressed you're still able to run! I would definitely pee myself if I wasn't able to potty break every 10 minutes. Enjoy the hike
@emiliadkay Haha thanks! I forgot about that whole pelaton thing. I was a little taken aback that he got something so big. I mean, it's a gift that we now have to make payments on.... But he mows lawns on the side and seems to be paying for it that way so it is nice. I have always talked about wanting to get one. So he did pretty good!
How are you feeling this week?: The back and hip pain has been rough... but I also gained a little more than I intended a little faster than I should be so I think I'm learning a hard lesson here.
What are you doing to stay active?: I just transitioned away from the stationary bike, the angle of the seat was starting to hurt my hips and cause me pain, I'm now walking about 30 minutes a day.
How did you do last week?: After I made the choice to give up the bike and solidified that I want to walk and that walking would be my primary source of movement, I did great with it. I typically need to separate it into two walks a day since there are some hills to negotiate in our apartment complex and that winds me a bit, but I've been doing it. I do really feel like I want to/should be doing more.
Any goals for next week?: If I'm not making it out on a walk, I'm going to be doing some yoga. I've gotta be active and move around. So I'm sticking with that. I'm also working hard at looking a little closer about what I'm eating.. I've really packed on some pounds and while I know some weight gain is necessary, I let things get a little too out of control and I KNOW it's adding to some of the uncomfortable I'm feeling.

How did you do last week? Last week was awesome! Took my rest day today because the weekends weather looks awesome. Hopeful to get a hike in!
Any goals for next week? My goal next week and the following week, it to try and maintain this same routine! That would get me to 30 weeks!
