Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: Doc pushed my due date back a day, now Nov 27th, but pushed me up 2 days in the count, so I guess I'm 11w1d (I dont ask questions!)

Team Green/Pink/Blue: Will find out!
Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of: a lime
Upcoming Appointments: May 19th! First appointment was last week, and I'm just say glad that I got a confirmation that yes, you are pregnant. Look! Here is your baby!
How are you feeling?: Nausea is on it's way out! Still get little waves in the evening and if I eat too fast, it comes right back up, but I'm feeling loads better than 2 weeks ago. Getting nasty headaches every so often.
Rants/Raves: I would KILL for some sushi or a poke bowl. It's all I want!
Questions: Has anyone started looking into maternity bras? I'm starting to pop-out of my everyday bras and am considering just to go straight into a maternity bra.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood book? The Very Hungry Caterpillar!
Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of: Baby is the size of a hotwheels car!
Upcoming Appointments: Not until the end of the month
How are you feeling?: Tired! Insomina + Fatigue + 2 crazy boys is not working so well for me.
Rants/Raves:
Questions: Has anyone tried the SneakPeek test for gender? I was considering trying it, but I have mixed feelings about it's accuracy (they claim 99.1%). Maybe I'm just a skeptic.
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood book? The Boxcar Children and Harry Potter series!
@reirei84 When I was pregnant with DS1 I actually invested in non-maternity bras in a larger size and wore them the entire pregnancy because I didn't know what size I would be once my milk came in after birth. I tried so many different nursing bras in both pregnancies and the ones I liked the best were Maternity Playtex from Kohl's. I tried ones from Motherhood Maternity but they never seemed to fit/feel right to me. Hope this helps!
Team Green/Pink/Blue: team finding out, got my NIPT draw yesterday.
Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of: a lime. Which seems appropriate for cinco de Mayo. Unfortunately the margaritas are off limits this year.
Upcoming Appointments: 12 week appointment next week.
How are you feeling?: I’m feeling well! We did a four mile hike yesterday with only some uphill portions and I was completely wiped out. Apparently I found my new limit.
Rants/Raves: Rave is getting toilet paper and paper towels from my Costco order this morning. I’m set for weeks 😂. No rants today.
Questions:
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood book? I loved James and the Giant Peach and Indian in the Cupboard. Now that I’m an elementary teacher I have a whole new list of favorite children’s books!
@acdc1109 I haven’t tried it but I’ve heard great reviews. I was considering it but figured I’d wait a few weeks for the NIPT.
@reirei84 I never stopped wearing my maternity bras! I have some from Motherhood maternity and some super soft wireless ones from true & co. They’re not maternity but really comfy.
@acdc1109 I keep seeing those ads for SneakPeak on FB! It definitely had me intrigued but then I was reading comments about people being concerned about exactly how this company is using your DNA and it put enough doubt in my mind to just keep scrolling. I would have done more research but I was feeling lazy. Lol. @reirei84 I just switch to bras with no underwire during pregnancy. I feel like nursing bras are basically the same as underwire free but with the added bonus of being able to let a boob free when nursing so it could t hurt to switch now!
Thanks for all the good advice everyone! It's not like stores are open right now to go buy bras, but I have some good ideas for when I can!
@acdc1109 I've heard good things about those tests and thought about it myself. In the end, I decided to do the NIPT testing. I go in on the 19th, so hopefully I'll have answers by the end of the month!
Thanks for all of your responses! I think I'll just wait until the 20 week ultrasound at this point. I can't seem to shake the uneasy feeling about it and as @krystrist2014 said I don't know what they'd do with my DNA. It just seemed to good to be true! I'm fine with waiting, I just thought it would be nice to have a "back-up" conformation. We decided not to do the NIPT because the results won't really change anything for us and I didn't think it was worth the money just to find out baby's sex early (I promise no judgement on those who chose to do it, it just wasn't something that was important to us).
@acdc1109 I am on the fence about NIPT as well and I need to make a decision by tomorrow when I have my virtual appointment with the OB. MH is making me feel like it’s a bad idea because I’m not sure how he’d feel if the NIPT screening results came back as positive for any of the chromosomal abnormalities. And for me, personally, I would never be willing to follow up questionable results with a amniocentesis, so what is the point in giving myself something to worry about for the next 6 months. 🤷🏽♀️ On the other hand, MH and I both are really itching to find out the sex! For that reason, MH does want to do NIPT. I have like 24 hours to make a decision! Lol.
Upcoming Appointments: NIPT ultrasound next Wednesday (yay!) and then 12 week appt the following week to go over everything
How are you feeling?: not quite as tired/groggy as the last few weeks and trying not to give in and eat absolutely everything i want lol
Rants/Raves: rant, my 10 week appt on monday was a bust. Thought I'd get to at least hear the heartbeat but my OB doesn't do it that early anymore because sometimes you can't hear it and moms get freaked out. So all i got was a pap smear and 8 vials of blood taken. boo
Questions: none
GTKY: What was your favorite childhood book? i liked nancy drew and goosebumps
Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of: brussels sprout
Upcoming Appointments: Friday for my NT ultrasound
How are you feeling?: physically, fine
Rants/Raves: I made it its own post, but I got my NIPT results back on Monday and they were non results. "Insufficient Fetal DNA" was the finding which can mean a million and one different things due to a number of variables. I had a redraw done on Monday and will hopefully find out more next week. The genetic counselor at my ob practice is sick of hearing from me and I am a wreck. I am also VERY nervous for the NT on Friday because of the inconclusive results and just wish DH could be there with me. We are playing around with the idea of facetiming but also want to protect our two girls if there is something wrong and don't want them to witness it in the moment if that makes sense.

Upcoming Appointments: Telehealth visit with our midwife on June 2.
How are you feeling?: Better than last week! Nausea and food aversions are starting to lessen. I’m mostly just feeling tired and bloated.
Rants/Raves: No rants. We’re excited to tell our parents this weekend! I’m horrible at keeping secrets so I’m pretty proud of myself for keeping this one! 🤣

Team Green/Pink/Blue: Finding out
Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of: Limes!
Upcoming Appointments: May 18th
How are you feeling?: The baby brain is already as bad as it was end of my pregnancy with DD. My pubic bone just feels sore. I know it's excess flub and bloat but I already feel like I looked at 20 weeks with DD. The nausea/vomiting is daily, I'm exhausted with randomly nightly insomnia (hence the reason I'm upp posting at 3am), and let's add in some night sweats. Hot mess express for party of 3 right here. Thee twins are trying to BREAK me.
