MaterniT21 Plus Test

Is anyone else planning to have this done? My doctor told me to go between 10-11 weeks, but the lab said I could go as early as 9 weeks. I’m 9w5d today.

    For most of these types of tests, the later in the window the more accurate your results will be. My doctor had pushed his recommendation to 12 weeks for any NIPT testing. Good luck whatever you decide!

    Yes, I should qualify since I'll be 35 by my due date. I had it done with my son also to rule out Trisonomy after an earlier anatomy scan (he wouldn't unclench his hands and showed cysts on his brain). He was fine, by the next AS the cysts were gone.

    Yes, definitely having it done. Not only am I 35, but my pregnancy last year was T21. Like @jchpg said, it's better to wait a bit later so that your results are more accurate. My doctor likes to time it so that the results come in before the 12-week NT scan, so she can discuss both at the same time.
