What did you do for your mental health? I got my workouts in and I also got my hair done, which allowed for my DD to go to our grandparents for the day, which was AMAZING!
What mindfulness practices did you do? I actually didn't do any, but like I said last week I am going to start listening to some Podcasts. Autumn Calabrese's new one, Janet Lansbury for Parenting and I have a lot of friends that recommended some True Crime ones. I mean none of these speak mindfulness hahaha, but I guess it works lol.

GTKY: What is your favorite trick for staying motivated to meet your goals? My Apple Watch! Honestly the best purchase I have ever made for myself and since having DD unless it is a realllly good sale, I don't buy it for myself. My child wears designer and I wear Target haha. But I wanted to get serious with losing the baby weight last time and bought one 13 months postpartum. It is amazing and I make sure to close my rings everyday. I have lowered my Move goal aka calorie burn now that I am pregnant, but I usually surpass it. For me it is the best little reminder to get up and get moving!
What did you do for your mental health? Not enough, it's been a but rough emotionally. I make sure to stay active and walk outside at least twice a day.
What mindfulness practices did you do? I meditated 6 days in a row with Headspace
Do you have any questions for the board? How strict are you with the "not laying on your back" when working out, doing yoga or stretching? I'm 13w4d.
GTKY: What is your favorite trick for staying motivated to meet your goals? I wear my Garmin sport watch to track heartbeat and calories burn when I do a physical a activity. I also want to keep weight in check but only get weighed about once a month. Now that I'm working out at home, I enjoy doing my exercises while watching a TV show!
What did you do for your mental health? Nothing 😬
What mindfulness practices did you do? Listening to books helps keep me from thinking too much, especially if they are too high stress.
GTKY: What is your favorite trick for staying motivated to meet your goals? Honestly, being home due to covid has made the biggest difference. I'm in a good routine of exercising in the morning after breakfast, which I never would have had time for while also going to work. It has also helped me to commit to doing MommaStrong every.single.day, even if it's just a 5 minute hack. I'm over 60 days into my streak, which is completely amazing for me!

@mimser I don't worry about being on my back until my belly is big enough to really press down on me (the concern is about cutting off blood flow to the placenta). Also, you probably already know this, but ALWAYS roll from back to side before sitting up to avoid putting undue stress on your abs.

What physical workouts did you do this week? Lots of walks and a couple Pure Barre on demand workouts. I’ve been skipping the ab portions that feel uncomfortable and stop if I feel like it’s too much.
What did you do for your mental health? Walks really help clear my head. Also getting some time to myself each day.
What mindfulness practices did you do? Nothing specific.
Do you have any questions for the board? Anyone riding their bike right now? I didn’t ride mine at all last pregnancy because I was afraid of falling (I don’t think I’ve fallen off my bike since I was 13), but I’ve been wanting to ride lately since the weather is so nice.
GTKY: What is your favorite trick for staying motivated to meet your goals? My Apple Watch is also my go to tool!
@mimser I think I laid on my back until it was uncomfortable? Or modified starting second trimester with a ball under my upper back or neck when doing exercises on the floor.
