good news: jaundice levels finally dropped.

in Babies: 0 - 3 Months
they are now at a 10 (were up to 17!), he has been off the blanket for 2 days and is done with Dr visits/ daily bloodwork.  I am SO relieved.

    yay! that was seriously one of the scariest things i ever had to deal with! masiela's bili was up to 19.5! congrats on ditching the blanket finally. that thing sucks!

    Glad to hear he's doing better. Both my kids were jaundiced too, DS had to do phototherapy at home as well.

    arghh, yes they kept saying if it climbed any more i would have to admit him to the hospital.  i was SO stressed!!

    Woohoo!

    DS#2 was hospitalized for phototheraphy and it still took him until 5 wks to get down to 10.
