I made this thread and then tried so hard to think of something to post about, but the infinite monotony of social isolation has got me like 🤷‍♀️ Seriously, I'm just counting the days til NIPT results, which is all I have going on.... like... ever.

@hedgepig I was told to go get NIPT the week after next and it’s already all I can think about. Are you finding out the sex?

@name1109 @surlyjaneausten I had the blood draw a week ago Friday, and get results on Wednesday! I'm so surprised at myself to find how excited I am to know the sex, and equally looking forward to knowing that all the genetic stuff looks good too 🤞🤞🤞

It's finally warming up outside. But is still going to be cloudy and rainy. We can't win with the weather here.

In other news I'm excited for this next week. I've spent the last 6 weeks taking care of DS all week while DH works. It's been exhausting. I'm normally able to do fun things with DS and I get a ton of help with grandparents. None of that has been happening for obvious reasons. On Friday DH texted his boss that he was thinking of taking a day off soon and his boss responded to take 2 days off this week. So he's going to take Thursday and Friday off. Which means I only have to entertain a 2.5 year old alone for 3 days 🥳

@dumbledoredies Hallelujah! It's so hard being the sole caregiver for busy little creatures that age. And stuck inside? And on top of all that, first trimester? No wine/beer? Sick and tired? I don't know if I'd survive that. Kudos to you for lasting that long!

Isn’t there another that had twins last pregnancy as well? I’d tag but I would likely get it wrong.

I’m having my integrated screen the week after next! Anyone know if I can text for gender then too?

Doing my NIPT on May 6 and I’m excited. I’m excited about a lot of things but SO feels so disconnected since he can’t attend the appointments. The pictures I brought back from our last US just weren’t the same. We FaceTimed and he couldn’t hear anything and the tech rushed through so it was just not great.

I’m 11 weeks today and I’m excited because my baby has fingers and toes that aren’t webbed and looks like a baby and all the other cool developmental things happening and I try to share that excitement with SO and he’s just not feeling it. Which hurts my heart so much because if we would’ve gotten pregnant when we first started trying he would’ve gotten to be a part of all of these things that he’s missing out on.

COVID can suck it. I’m over all of it.

We are over the weekend, but yesterday I drove 40 minutes one way to get Chic-Fil-A. It was Sunday. Chic-Fil-A is famous for being closed on Sundays. I knew it was Sunday and decided not to grab the mailbox key, no mail today. I got all the way up to the store and thought... this is a first there is no line... wait what’s going on why do they look closed... and then it hit me.😫😫😫 Total adventure fail.

@Ecat504 booo to SO feeling disconnected. I always feel my SO is always trying to convince me are we ACTUALLY pregnant? It makes me sooooo MAD. I swear it doesn’t click until he feels the little kicks.

So excited about May 6th!!! So close!
