What are you up to/managing to do? I've been able to do every other day on the bike this week. SUPER tired today but I'm going to have a small cup of cold brew and get to it! The weather should be nice tomorrow so I'm planning a long walk.
After my day on Wednesday of feeling less nauseous and tired, Thursday and Today have wiped me out. I’m so crazy exhausted I’ve just been dozing on and off on the couch while my DD plays and watches movies. Hoping to go on a walk later.

The days I work I used to get up at 5am and do an intense 30min yoga/Pilates and now I’m giving myself those extra 30min of sleep but when I do work I get like 15-20 thousand steps so I’m not too beat up over it. My days off I don’t have the energy to do my usual workouts but I’ve managed to go for my regular 5k fast paced walk with my doggo! Trying to listen to my body. Hoping that it’s true that you get some energy back in the second trimester and I can resume some strength training then!
@tryingktogku that was my experience last time. By weeks 12/13 I was feeling normal again. I so miss all of my built in steps at work! I used to easily get 8-10k a day. I did manage my 30 minute powerzone class today. I had to fight my way through it though!
Hi Chicks! New to the community and so happy to find a fitness group We typically train pretty regularly (bike, run, circuit training) but for the last 2 weeks now I've been pretty lethargic... happy to hear that I'm not alone and that there may be a change in the 2nd trimester🤞 I have been really hard on myself for being "lazy" so thank you all for being honest and sharing!
I figured out if I get up and exercise first thing, then eat some bacon and eggs, that I can function for most of the rest of the day. That was working great until yesterday morning. I woke up wanting to throw up, spent most of the day in bed, and accomplished absolutely nothing. I’m hoping today goes much better.
Hey has anyone follower or know of a decently priced prenatal fitness program? I find I’m much more accountable if I can follow something. I’ve heard really good things about Hannah bowers healthy mama healthy baby but it’s $125 and I’m not really looking to spend that much money!
@tryingktogkuJillian Michaels has one you should check out. She has a 7-day free trail and a couple different payment options (I think she has a sale on right now.) She has them broken down into the trimesters and has a postnatal bounce back.
@helleebellee that SUCKS. It's happened to me a few times. @tryingktogku peloton is free for 90 days right now and 12.99 a month after that. It has EVERYTHING including specific prenatal/postnatal yoga.
BUMP for anyone looking for this thread Took off yesterday but today I managed a one hour powerzone spin! Should be a strength workout tomorrow, I'll see if I still have any steam after today
The last two days I would have swore I had a kidney infection. I exercised through the pain, but every little movement sucked. I know if I don’t keep up with it, I’ll stop and not care to pick up again. This early pregnancy exercising is rough! Oh, and the pain is now completely gone. No clue what was going on.
I went for a run yesterday for the first time in a while. I've been doing a lot of walking lately. For some reason, when the weather is crappy, I'd rather walk than run. Yesterday was nice, though, so we ran. I ended up stopping halfway through to rest, but I made it! I might do it again, too. I've been doing a lot of power yoga lately, too, and I'm still keeping up with my weight-lifting routine. I normally do a lot of OrangeTheory, but it's been closed. I'm looking forward to getting to go back to that, whenever that may be!
I have been slacking this week because the tiredness is kicking in and I haven’t felt motivated, but seeing this thread encouraged me to do a little, so I got about 30 minutes of Pilates in today
I’m glad I teach Fit4Baby class on Tuesday nights, so I can get some strength and cardio in, because otherwise I have been slacking compared to before. I’ve been trying to walk 2 miles on the treadmill a few times a week, it seems like that makes me so tired I can’t workout the next day right now.
We do family bike rides 3-4 days a week and I also do Dance Fitness w/Jessica. I have it all planned out that I’ll do the dance classes on the days we don’t bike, buuuut that hasn’t quite happened, yet. Definitely waiting for the extreme lethargy to leave and get a little energy back so I can have a healthy and productive pregnancy. However, reading yalls workouts is motivating and hopefully will help me keep my butt in gear!
Did NOTHING yesterday Well, I did go to trader joe's and stand outside for 30 minutes waiting to get it, that's kind of exercise Should be spinning today, we'll see!
Got my Pilates in this morning again! That makes 2 days this week... I’m not gonna be super strict on myself depending on how the exhaustion is hitting me each day but hopefully I can still get in one or two more workouts before the weeks is over!
