How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)? — I’m scared. I had my cerclage placed on Friday and I’m scared that it won’t work. I’m scared of overexerting myself and causing something to happen. I’ve been taking it easy all weekend and luckily MH is working from home so he is helping more and more with DS.

Any upcoming appointments?— 16 week appt next week

Some of us are already in the second trimester and the rest are getting very close. As we get further into pregnancy, do you find yourself relaxing more or getting more anxious? — I’m getting more anxious. My loss was at 24 weeks and DS was born at 30 weeks. I feel like my body isn’t the safest place for my baby to be yet I want him in there as long as possible. I think when I get to 28 weeks, I will be able to relax a tiny bit because they generally do well at that point. My goal is to make it to 32 weeks. Anything past that would be amazing. I would love to make it to my scheduled c section at 37 weeks but I’m not sure how realistic that is.

How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)? Doing pretty well, actually. I got a Boppy side-sleeper pillow and that has helped a lot. Before I got it, I would find myself shifting onto my back at night, and that would give me horrible night terrors/sleep paralysis, so this encourages me to stay on my side without getting uncomfortable. I've also taken to going on 2.5 mile walks around my neighborhood in the afternoons (weather-permitting) and that is helping both my physical and mental health.

Any upcoming appointments? April 29th (routine OB)

Some of us are already in the second trimester and the rest are getting very close. As we get further into pregnancy, do you find yourself relaxing more or getting more anxious? I think it depends on the day. Today, I'm feeling less anxious. I think because I can feel her fluttering about in there from time to time. My loss was early, so just having the affirmation that she's there and doing well enough to be moving around is reassuring. When I first go pregnant, I had only marked the weeks in my planner up to week 20 (I don't know why that's what I chose) and just recently went in and filled in the remaining weeks up to my due date. I'm such a type-A organized person, so it helps to have that visual reminder.

How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)? INSATIABLY HORNY.  TMI over, but seriously.  I am horny all the damned time.

Any upcoming appointments? 4/24 regular OB

Some of us are already in the second trimester and the rest are getting very close. As we get further into pregnancy, do you find yourself relaxing more or getting more anxious? Relaxing, definitely.

First BFP on 1/4/22.  Due date 9/13/22.

Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.

How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)? Exhausted- I could sleep 12 hours a day and it wouldn’t be enough. Anxious about getting my NIPT results- hopefully we actually get results with this test, since the previous 2 were inconclusive due to low percentage of fetal DNA. Also being weirdly anxious about something going wrong.

Any upcoming appointments? OB on Friday, 4/24

Some of us are already in the second trimester and the rest are getting very close. As we get further into pregnancy, do you find yourself relaxing more or getting more anxious? I will continue to be anxious until I start feeling movement regularly. Our loss was at 36 weeks, and any time after that feels like borrowed time, so I never really feel “safe”.

    16 weeks tomorrow

How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)?

Symptom wise just tired, waiting for their 2nd tri energy burst.

    Any upcoming appointments?

My hospital system moved from canceling all elective procedures to all non-life threatening and all my appointments and anatomy scan are postponed. My doctor is trying to get an exception made but it seems it’s out of his hands. I am such a mess 😔 both of my losses were in the second trimester and this is the absolute worst time for me to have no prenatal care.

More anxious. I just dread having an even later loss than before.

@Kurtni, I hope your doctor is able to get the exception made. The AS is so important and missing appointments is so difficult for those of us who have experienced loss.

@mamaheatherl, the same thing happened to a friend of mine. She had the NIPT drawn 3 times and it was always inconclusive. She just had her anatomy scan last week and everything is fine. But hopefully this draw was the lucky one

How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)? I’m just tired. Working from home with toddlers is exhausting.

Any upcoming appointments? 4/27 routine appointment and 5/6 with a high risk specialist

I’m more anxious. There’s this sense of dread that follows you and since I’m considered high risk the label doesn’t bring any comfort

How are you feeling (symptoms, mentally/emotionally)? I feel like fatigue is back. I'm being mindful to get more exercise, so I don't think it's because I'm being lazy or anything. I was happy to have left that in first tri, but oh well. Also my boobs hurt and every time DH touches them I tell at him, and my toddler is constantly elbowing them or something.

Any upcoming appointments? 4/27, seeing a doctor which I haven't in 8 weeks now (my NT scan was supposed to include a doctor's visit originally, but...COVID)

Some of us are already in the second trimester and the rest are getting very close. As we get further into pregnancy, do you find yourself relaxing more or getting more anxious? I felt less anxious after the NT scan but now I'm more anxious. There have been a few times I thought I felt tiny movements but I don't know if I imagined it and haven't felt anything for a bit. I also feel like my bump was getting bigger and now it doesn't seem to be. I don't know, my anxiety isn't rooted in much logic, I'm just nervous.

I haven't been on in a long time. I was really struggling with working 40 hours while watching DD and getting no time to myself, plus getting cabin fever. I had an anxiety attack and then decided I need to take a walk every day after DH gets home so I get time alone and away from home plus exercise. That has definitely helped. Most days I hardly think about the pregnancy with everything going on and that makes me feel guilty. Also I'd kill for a glass of champagne or prosecco right now.

  • The cutest little rainbow shirt caught my eye grocery shopping. I’m pretty strict about not buying anything until 3rd tri but decided to just embrace being hopeful today. 🙂
