I’ve been able to get back to running a bit! I’m praying I’m turning the nausea corner so I can get back to upping mileage. 🥳
What are you doing for your mental health?
Taking some me time every day! Thankfully, DH is working from home and encourages me to take a rest everyday while he wrangles the little ones.
What mindfulness practices are you doing?
Praying and Bible reading helps keep me calm, relaxed and focused. 💜
Question: I have always been small chested...except during pregnancy. I am in need of a more supportive sports bra for running. Any recommendations?
What physical workouts are you doing? At least one walk every day, but sometimes two or three. I can go like maximum two miles before my hips start aching, so I haven’t been doing long ones. I did a couple streaming barre workouts, which felt so great. I would go about three times a week to barre before everything shut down and then I stopped working out when I got pregnant because of spotting.
What are you doing for your mental health? Walks are helpful, getting time alone each day is important too.
What mindfulness practices are you doing? Nothing really.
Do you have any questions for the board? Anyone else getting super winded already? I think it’s the blood volume increase, but I don’t remember being this winded so early in my pregnancy last time.
What are you doing for your mental health? I have been trying to wake up earlier than DD and MH to get my workouts in because the alone time is great. I have also REALLY focused this week on DD's sleeping and it has been such a tremendous improvement I could cry. Monday night I was convinced I "broke" my child and literally just cried as I was rocking her to sleep.
What mindfulness practices are you doing? I always try to read PD books, but I haven't been able to do much with the bedtime struggles. But I am hoping to pick up listening to some Podcasts soon.
Do you have any questions for the board? No at this time, but @surlyjaneausten OMG yes to the windedness. I have to modify exercises now that I never needed to before, but I am just happy to still be moving. I think I have mentioned before I was such a couch potato in my last pregnancy and it was bad, so this time I am determined to make it better LOL.

What are you doing for your mental health? A bit of color drawing, spending time outside in the daylight, meditation, positive affirmations...
What mindfulness practices are you doing? I start most days with a 10 minute meditation using the app Headspace

What are you doing for your mental health? Eh, not much. MH has been taking DS more, which is a very welcome respite.
What mindfulness practices are you doing? Nothing atm, but it would be nice to get back to something like that.
