R/R: Not too much going on today, other than still feeling antsy to POAS! AF is due tomorrow by my calculations, so hopefully she stays away!! I ended up having a super productive work day yesterday, and I have a few students to see today which will be nice. They’re not all back to back today which is good because it gives me time to prep between my sessions!

R/R: work is picking up for me, which is good, but i feel like i need a veg out day. between house stuff and work i just need an afternoon to sit and do nothing, so im looking forward to hopefully doing so on saturday.

@runningoncookies I really hope you're still here in the TWW the next couple of days. My fingers are crossed so hard for you!
@asf0613 I so hope you get your veg out day on Saturday! Staying busy is nice, but so is doing nothing.

R/R: I -somehow- managed to pass my drug and alcohol counseling course with 100%! I have two more of these classes to go before I can get my provisional drug and alcohol counseling license, and of course I still have my mental health stuff, but this is a HUGE victory for me! I'm probably going to spend the rest of my day today doing some self-care stuff (meditating for sure) and maybe working on come continuing education units from the American Counseling Association.

@runningoncookies girl how have you not tested yet??

@asf0613 I've always found it weird to just not work for a few hours during a work day... like DH was just done with working for the day around 4 so he didn't work a full 8 hours. At the same time I have to remind myself that I should be doing more breaks and if I feel accomplished with my day then it's okay to call it quits early.

R/R: just in a fantastic mood for my birthday today I had a really tough therapy session yesterday, but my therapist does a really good job at speaking to me in a kind way that's not judgemental. It is SUPER hard to be faced with being told you're a control freak. That was really hard to hear. DH and I had a really good conversation afterward because he came upstairs to find me bawling at my computer. I definitely have some really good things to work on for the next 2 weeks until the next appointment.

CS/Q: totally the start of a tRiPhAsIc PaTtErN right?? haha

@bluetickgal thanks! DH keeps sending me ridiculous pictures with the message "happy birthday". He just. won't. stop lol so the good mood continues 🙂

@inthewoods23 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I'm sorry you had a rough therapy session last night, but I'm glad you have some things that came out of it that you can work on. Therapy isn't meant to be easy, but having someone supportive to help you through the hard stuff is so valuable. Sending you lots of love. Get as much self-care in as you can!
